That is the power in togetherness. We can achieve so much more if only we can jettison our ethnic and religious acrimony and fight our common enemy as a people.we can overcome insurgency, corruption, bad leadership, electoral fraud and so much more if we fight with the same spirit with which we fought EVD in Nigeria. God bless this nation. |
I once attended an interview where I was asked "why do you want to leave your current job". I made a mistake of telling the interviewer exactly what was happening in that company that I didn't like not knowing that the interviewer/organization was also guilty of. He just told me "we also do it here and most companies in this country also do it. Hence, you can't work here too. |
Good one. But, what do you have to say about those who brought Christianity and colonialism? What's ur take about CAN president and arms deal exposed in South Africa? would you have had the same opinion if it were to be linked with either d Emir of Kano or Sultan of Sokoto? am0sn0nyu: |
Xtian of yesterday? Kentox: |
LordMecuzy:God bless u for this comment. Those bigots calling all Muslims terrorists also have Muslims as friends and some even have Muslims in their families with whom they wine and dine occasionally. We will not get over this problem until we learn to see these people as terrorists and not as Islamist and collectively fight them as such. |
As for me and my household, we shall eat any meat/chicken killed in the name of Almighty God whether for Christmas or Sallah. Whoever chose not to eat for any reason known to him/her is just denying himself/herself and his/her household of sanctified vitamins. My wife is a good Christian while I am a Muslim. U need to see my in-laws in our house yesterday helping themselves with sallah meat and even packed some fried meat home. This is what I do in their houses during Christmas too. We will continue to have this problem in this country until we learn to live together as brothers and sisters irrespective of our ethnic and religious differences. |

20pounds: So it is today that he deems it fit to dress like a cowboy wanna-be and visit the scene? He also covered his nose with mask to avoid stench from the public he claims to love more than GEJ.So, in your own opinion, two days after the incident is too much for a governor to visit the scene of the incident?Has your GEJ visited Chibok 153 days after over 250 girls were abducted? He shouldn't have dressed like a cowboy but like Alao Akala wearing ankle chains and rings on every finger with a flowing agbada or babariga? Always wear your thinking cap whenever visiting nairaland and save your data if you know you have nothing meaningful to contribute. |
maxit2: What I hate about this Wole Soyinka hybrid goat is that he thinks he is intelligent. .. hahahahaHe can't be intelligent since he has not come here to openly canvass for your GEJ to be given d chance for another 4 yrs. |
Omexonomy: Why did gej faild to give the shildren of the mad O' proffesor a public office to loot and steal public fund like thief stella odua?Thank God you admitted your GEJ's minister Stella Odua stole public fund with impunity and was never prosecuted. prof Soyinka is a self made man and an accomplished one at that.He is globally respected for his stance on good governance.Your GEJ will have to wait till the prof's hairs turn black to return to office after 2015 just like you rightly said. |
Jesuspistol: We no be mumu nah, everybody no say election is near. Anyway una try.you are right my friend, but don't also forget that we can not compare any state's economy with that of Lagos state in the comity of APC states. From each according to the resources available to him. |
kennaustine: Yet GEJ is not working, according to die-hard propangadist of the Aggrieved Peoples Congress. So what is attracting investors? Economist will tell you its good economic space. Just like the privatization and deregulation of the telecoms sector in 2002, the power sector in Nigeria will experience a great turnaround IN A MATTER OF TIME. GEJ has laid the foundation. It is necessary to return him in 2015 so those Asiwaju Puppets Crew will not take the glory on another mans effort. GEJ till but no further than 2019.Day-dreaming!!!!!!!! |
doctokwus: This incident is reported to av happened sund and its now just appearing on nland,3 clear days after.Who stopped you from posting it earlier. Learn to appreciate people who do what you can't do. |
sunnyshayne: Well thank God you graduated but those guys you were fighting for have since graduated, settled down in life and may be bosses in some places. [b][b]You cannot catch up with your mates again cos 13years is no beans and I don't think you will get a medal for this.Says who? |
religion is a disease but Islam is cancer This is the most stupid comment ever read on NL. |
You are the most stupid human being I have ever heard of. Billyonaire: This Polymer CBN Governor should just leave. He has achieved little other than radical chit-chats. |
Bishop Juice: Hypocrisy opposition and their deluded followers will naturally shy away from any corruption scandal rocking their backyard and their e-touts will rush and defend them but by far the greatest accomplice to these fraudsters claiming saints is the media. Today's journalists especially in the print media are highly jaundiced and are employed to pen down whatever their political masters and employers dictate to them.let him (Obanikoro) provide evidence and we shall know what to say on it.By the way, Fashola is working and everyone in Lagos and beyond sees it.It is only moral and normal for whoever is working to enjoy the labour of his hands, afterall, he bought the vehicles in the name of LASG and not his name and he is not likely to go away with them after the expiration of his tenure. The cars will still be there for the next occupant (s) of the office. |
Please, anyone with useful info shd pls, post here. |
tallfish145: Any idea here?Source and detail please.any link? |
truthislight: Nope! You are talking nonsense.give us one example in the scripture of a situation where Christ excommunicated sbd for misbehaving. |
all said and done. How then could a sensible human being call this a toy? Nigerian Security apparatus: Police and SSS called it a toy! |
your bad belle is obvious to all! The question is not about the governor you dislike or hate the most.
I am not from Ondo, neither am I resident there, but I am a regular visitor to Ondo state.I am very pleased with the guy's achievements vis a vis Agagu's 8 year reign.Ondo's health and transport sectors are second to none in this country.let us put politics apart and appreciate good work and condemn bad one irrespective of the personalities involved. |
you are the one to be ashamed of yourself.when a president makes a promise to Nigerians while in another country and is now coming back to deny saying so, it means everything is wrong with him and all of isane people like you who support him. DerideGull: @OP |
jt2010: So what about the oil gotten from the sea (Offshore), abi sea na ur village?why are u ds daft?ds is why people like alams and sylva were celebrated after looting the treasury and left u ppl pauperized. |
seanet01: Go and Die if you are not contented with Jonathan is doing with your Future. If this is a joke u better stop it b/4 people take it as ur stand on a serious national issue such as this. |
Churches shd limit their activities within the four walls of their churches and assist the society with their prayers if need be.attempting to shut down beer parlours is tantamount to usurping the duty of the govt.as if crimes are not comitted in the churches and by the so called pastors. |
I totally agree with the OP.That GEJ was snubbed does not imply that Nigeria was snubbed. The organizers only showed thier disapproval for CORRUPTION.They do not want to identify with corruption, afterall, OBJ was there and was accorded the deserved respect.let us call a spade a spade for once and stop politicizing issues like we do domestically. That OBJ was accorded the right respect is enough to show that South Africa and the World still recognize Nigeria's efforts during apartheid regime.Even Zimbabweans applauded President Mugabe when he was introduced. This is to show that his people still hold him in high esteem in spite of western disdain for his government. |
Idrismusty97: I feel so honored to be the first to comment. All.And what do you get for being the first to comment? |
Who need a shoeless zoologist when we have a SAN with a sound mind. PDP once said america shd learn from nigeria's electoral system.they are a bunch of jokers.what will sbd like fashola learn from PDP except of course corruption.lagos deserves more than whatever it gets from d PDP led FGN because it generates the largest percentage of the country's non-oil earnings. |
