i received same message this morning from Npower stating that i should go to Npower zonal office/secretariat for deployment to my PPA tomorrow Thursday by 9am.

Message seems legit, nonetheless i will be there before 9am by the special grace of God.

I watched the documentary this morning, it's so disheartening, Hausa youths in tsafe zamfara state went on a rampage attacking fulanis in tsafe be it man, woman or child, in retaliation for the attacks by fulanis.
They attacked one small fulani girl and almost killed her.

One of the first Fulani bandit that laid down his arms had to pick up arms again because according to him, even after dropping arms, Hausas attacked his community again.

My friend who tipped me didn't get it as she was above 30 (was later informed you have to be under 30 with at least a 2:2). Least I forget, I'm from the South East.

congratulations to you. Seems like your friend doesn't have someone to push forward her application. I know someone that got too and the person is way above 30 perhaps the 2:2 worked against her. But this person i know is in his 40s.

believe me you don't necessarily need to know how to speak Hausa before an Hausa HOR helps you. I know some southerners who got job via a northern HOR, though in their case they speak and understand Hausa.

Commencement salary means allowances which includes funiture allowances e.t.c some organizations pay up to 2m or more but that doesn't mean it's the basic salary but just a money to use and settle down to start the work. like for instance your commencement salary might be 800k or 1.5million but your further basic entry monthly salary will be 140K.

once you go in with your SSCE, you have automatically forfeited your Degree cert. You have to further while in service. The cert you obtained while in service will be the one you present during promotion exams or something.

Things before are different from now. Seems like the journey was easier before compare to now.
