Submitted my passport on the 28th October 2022 for students visa

Got notified with VFS Abuja that is under process at the IRCC Office on Thu Nov 10 2022.

November 14th from my portal I saw a final decision message and saw my visa status has been issued and I was sent an approval letter.

Today being December 5th, I have not yet received my passport or got a message from vfs Abuja.

I only paid for the transmission fee and with no dhl return envelope.

Does anyone have similar issues ? How can we go about it, thanks all.

I do not have other details as it was handled by my lawyer. There is no word on our second daughter application yet

I never got medical request, I did upfront April and it was updated October after series of webform

Two ghost update so far, last upper week and last week....this alone can give someone bp, medical isn't updated since April that I applied, just showing"we are reviewing your medical result" application review started 02 august, even the visit visa I applied with my kids may, only the kids medicals were updated July and that was it...my medical was also stating same thing in the visit visa, if not that I feel very healthy and I have done personal check ups, this people would have killed me with thinking. I have sent webform enquiring, pleading and requesting....but from today henceforth am done, when they are ready they would reach out.......if no be Nigeria wey dey fall person hand sef....the rest is with God sha, wishing everyone waiting all the best.

Please I applied for sowp since April 23rd, did upfront medical sameday...my medical has been showing (we are reviewing the result of your medical result) ever since, and now eligibility has started since August 2nd, medical hasn't been requested nor updated to pass. Is this normal?

1. You will need to adhere to the visitor visa conditions to apply for a visitor visa. You would need to put a length of time that would appear reasonable and would not cause the visa officer to doubt that you are coming back home. For instance, if you have a job, a three weeks vacation to see your husband or a maximum of one month might appear reasonable. But, anything too far beyond that might cause the officer to be wondering how you can afford to be away for that long, and maybe you don't have anything to make you come back home.

I suggest that you apply for the spousal open work permit instead. You can apply for a Social Insurance Number (SIN), apply for jobs and support your husband financially in Canada. Also, you do not need to prove that you have a job to apply for a spousal open work permit since you have a husband who is legally in Canada as a student. But the case is different with a visitor visa. With a visitor visa, you would not be able to work based on the visit visa conditions. Some people come to Canada on visit visas and arrange jobs where they get cash in hand as a salary, but I would strongly not advise anyone to do that. It is better to obey their laws.

2. It is addressed in question one above. The length of time of your study for (a Spousal Open Work Permit) will be limited to the duration of his study permit. He can then apply for PGWP upon completion of his studies and then PR; with that, the immigration status of you guys' changes, but you will still be there legally.

3. Travel history is a factor for a visitor visa, but approval can still be granted if proof of home ties is sufficiently explained. Still, it is much better if you go for a Spousal open work permit, but you would need to prove means of financial support. 4. Apply with your kids together as a group application.

Hello all, please am in need of answers because am about applying for visitor visa for myself/toddler and study permit for my 2girls, now....
1) since this is a family reunification because my husband is a student in Canada, am I still expected to input date of arrival and departure? If yes, is using my husband study permit date which expire 2024 the right thing to do since my kids will be accompanying.

2) still on the dates, what is best to fill for family reunification since his study visa expires 2024 April

3) I don't have any travel history, how do I tackle this, thou I swore an affidavit of fact that I will return with my spouse, and also hoping to leverage my spouse travel history to promise replicating his attitude of respecting the rules of not over staying

4) can the application be done together or separately.

Hello all, please I am in urgent need of your kind guidance. My husband recently got his study visa approved, but he wants to defer his resumtion till September while he apply for study visa for our two kids and I and my last child as an accompanying parent and sibling, and also apply for sowp while still in Nigeria, hoping to inform the ircc of his deferment due to him not being able to stay without his family. And we hope to use his aged mother and siblings and my own family too has home tie, we have a house in Nigeria, and a business project in the developmental stage, we also wish to use his land and my building documents too. Now my question is, since he won't be traveling which shows his sincerity of purpose and his regret for not applying with us initially, what is our chances of success. Thanks in anticipation

In as much as I don't support tok2008 ideology about cheating men and how a woman needs to get use to it or expect it, I totally go with his ideology of men needing maximum respect, a man's ego is very very fragile, you break it then he deepshit you, you honour it then he lays his life for you, please note; am talking about morally upright men Biko. you don't know what women that birthed only girl's face in Nigeria, hers is even worst the fifth girl, you should see women stories in some of this Facebook pages battling to have a male child, mine is three girls, even thou I have the most understanding husband, I know it's not easy for him, especially when he upload his girls pics, I see comments from people that actually makes me feel for him and pray to God to give this man a male child even if it's not through me, but lucky enough God gift him a male child through me. if the man already instill fear in her in the third and fourth girls, imagine if he knew this one is going to be a girl, he will definitely ask her to abort it hence the reason he was trying to know the gender fast.....at the end he still end up killing the poor child. no matter his annoyance, he put fear in his wife and he deserved to be punished...they are better of without him.
