Oshigun: It should not be a Northerner. Period. 8 unbroken years is good enough for them. Another Northerner, even if not Fulani, will always have his first allegiance to the North and thus his Fulani brothers. All that will simply mean another 8 years of misery Nigeria, without restructure and fundamental changes to the constitution, can surely not survive. I think the Gowon recommendation today is a nice step. That way, everyone has a chance to showcase and not feel left out. |

Vaughanlanrewaj: Sincerely, the most practical is Asiwaju/Ganduje in my opinion and it is possible because it happened during MKO/ Kingibe mandate and recently in Kaduna it happened while most states in the North are Muslim-Muslim tickets the South East and South South have been Christian-Christian tickets. It seems hypocritical opposing a Muslim-Muslim or Christian-Christian ticket at the centre. Ganduje is also doing fantastic in terms of infrastructure in Kano but for the alleged video and dethroning of SLS, I don't think the opposition has anything on him. But trust me, the choice of the principal candidate is the highest stake. That is why I am fully convinced that Asiwaju Tinubu is the best man for the job. He is a Patriot to the core. Visit www.freestuffsng.com for free stuffs. At a time when everyone was everyone's brethren, Nigeria would not think it twice. It would have been a huge possibility. Today, we've divided and sub divided ourselves in so many ways we seem to always want to look for the difference now before considering what joins us together. A huge gamble, not sure if it would be worth the risk. |

BigSarah: Umahi/Bagudu 2023 or ATiku/ Obi The Umahi presidency might fly but I feel it might just be a carrot ploy. Sure, it would garner a South East vote avalanche but if he does not win the primaries, it is all for nought. I just have this feeling that APC is just dangling the post to the east as bait. |

BTW, call your family to be sure that the herders haven't invaded your community. A good number of Nigerians believe that until 2023 when power will change hands, the status quo remains and as such it is better to be sure whom to place in that seat of power else we will just deceive ourselves with an e-go-better mantra. Experience has shown we use our own hands (votes) to bring what happens. By the way, we still cook, eat, make love, cry, smile, travel and so on. It is all a part of living and so is planning for our political future. Lotsa luv. |

Until there is proper structure laid down by any third group and projection plans made, the range still lies between the PDP and the APC which is why I will be limiting my analysis to just these two.
PDP
Saraki-Obi Based on current events, a fulani man at the helms too soon would not help the people's opinion and trust. This is what can stand against Atiku and Tambuwal.
The third option of Saraki is the next bet. As a Kwaran, he would have the overwhelming votes of the entire North Central and with ilorin's closeness to the South West, kindrenship would gain some votes from there as well.
Peter Obi would gain the landslide of an entire South East with kindrenship gaining the South South votes.
To get more votes from the other region, Atiku, Wike, and Tambuwal would have to sacrifice their ambitions and deals would have to be made with the South West. I believe this is the only way PDP can win.
APC
Osinbajo/Zulum Attempting to field a northerner would work badly against APC as it would carry the feel of a northern rule agenda which would not help in the stability of the nation at this time.
Osinbajo is viewed as a goal-getter and seen by the in-party power brokers as a lesser threat than Tinubu. On his own, he is loved across party lines and tribe affiliation.
Zulum is also a well-loved personality in the region and that also extends to the compassion he has in the South from the series of persecutions he has faced while trying to secure his people.
Tinubu has to take one for the team in this case but with his support as well as the incumbent president Buhari's, APC will be on all cylinders. Deals however have to be made with the South East and South South.

AsomughaChuks02: They want to give the ticket to Atiku. Even northern minorities including kanuris will not vote for a fulani man again talk more of the south. PDP is really underestimating their own foolishness. Anything fulani now is a no go area. During the last election, the point of contention was the VP, and the concept of ibo in the area of power was yet to be received by all and PDP lost. Right now that the nation is brewing with the news of fulani all over, it will be a mistake if the northerner presented is atiku. Maybe another but certainly not a fulani. |

That the herdsmen have been damaging small and large farms is not new news. They do so with the aim of chasing the owners off their lands and possibly claiming such as their own. My own brother was nearly attacked a few weeks ago for 'stopping them from grazing on his agric farmland'.
What should have been the foreseeable with the attack within is that their fellow tribesmen could also determine the food supply to these same states their brothers have decimated its' agric regions. An attack within, an attack without.
The affected state governments should make policies that would ensure their future food supply is not controlled by outsiders. Protect their own citizens and as well encourage agric growth in their states to a level as it is done in the north where excess irrigation is done for northern farmers and even more.
Does Miyetti Allah have a valid grouse? Yes. But going by this way will only backfire.
Everyone likes to flex once in a while but if Southern governors set their priorities right, they can make sure this flexing is one to be regretted and never tried again. |

xelly: Do you actually reason? Who will give you the license to operate refinery? When do you think that will happen ? Before others will get the license can you imagine the hardship and who has cashed out from our suffering?
If we want to have a country, let Dangote suffer the fate of every business man in Nigeria so as to know if he is successful You can always make your suggestion without throwing snide remarks. At the end of the day, you would only have an antagonist interested in a a war of words with you thereby losing the initial point of your intellectual discuss. Cheers dear. |
Politics › Re: Dangote Wants Only Refinery License Holders To Import Fuel by teemy(m): 3:22pm On Feb 28, 2021 |
ChimaAdeoye: Typical Fulani man. They are greedy to a fault. They want to totally monopolize Nigeria and exclude everybody else.
The worst thing is that they are too shallow in reasoning that such behavior makes people to oppose them more vigorously. Very soon Dangote's refinery will be allowed to use only oil from Chad basin and not oil of the southerners. Lets keep going and see where all these plots by Fulani to emasculate other Nigerians will lead. His suggestion would actually drive more people to be refinery owners and thus create more competition for him. The only downside would be if the licensing of refineries is then restricted. |

infofirst: Kudos to everyone participating or following. I strongly want to believe we are all learning one thing or the other. Immediately we receive a mail that the contest ended, kindly sync your account for the result to be updated within one hour. I have learnt so much as well and @Aluspeciality did a great job and that confirm the fact in forex trading that the slow and steady remains the best. He traded with the best risk management and still lead and if you do not make top 3, you will get a good reward for trading that responsibly. Those are what I am looking forward to in the next contest.
@Mrbillionaire, I hope you have understood what is making the system to disqualify you @Eddle and @Satine did not place a single trade and still ranks good meaning not taking a trade is far better than taking risky trades. @Prosperotrading, I hope your confidence level will improve and be stable as we march to the main contest.
The next contest will run for a month but the first three Fridays, I will reward the top 3 for each week with at least $15, $10 and $5 each and this is different from the prize at the end of the month.
@ALL that were disqualified, I hope you do something different to ensure you get a different and better outcomes. Good job we are all doing for making the contest a healthy one. I will contest responsibly and much better next month as well.
I wish us all the best.
Note: Rules are part of the contest. No excuse whatsoever. Great job man. |

dosage150: Sorry for the long story
I couldn't take it any longer I had to resign on 14th February, 2021 over the hurtful words of my MD.
I manage his filling station and building materials warehouse. I really came to work with all my heart, I run the place as if its my own business that my landlord once asked me if its my dad's business.
I wake 5am everyday to set up the station at exactly 6am and closes 9pm . There's no sales boy/girl in the warehouse beside the station, am the one selling the building materials, yet under the salary of manager of the station.
He pays me 33k which I don't mind, yet there's nothing I will ever do that will be good in his sight He seems to hate me. Any Lil mistake of mine, he calls me "idiot, I didn't go to school, am foolish, that he allowed me to be here because he doesn't have chance, that I add no value to the company, money he pays me is waste to him"
These words makes me feel worthless, I cry most a times in the office. I handle millions of his money, none misses #5 for a day. He once called an auditor for me because he doesn't trust the account I give him monthly, yet no fund was missing.
After work on January, 2021, I paid other staffs on 3rd of February. He pays me directly, and pays me whenever he likes. I waited till 13th of February, I had to call him to know if did anything wrong and why delaying my salary. He hung up the call.
On 14th of February, I took the money through the Cashier, tendered my resignation letter and left the company. The cashier made it known to him, he called me on phone and started shouting at me saying "why am I rushing money like this, that am foolish and very stupid, he had small regard for me before but now he knows am worthless, that he will never forgive me for this act". Without knowing that I have left the company already.
The next day, he paid me through my account same 33k. I had to return the 33k I collected from cashier. Which state are you located in? |

Politics › Re: Gumi Provides ‘Evidence’ On His Claim That Christian Soldiers Kill Muslims- Reno by teemy(m): 5:29pm On Feb 24, 2021 |
Removing sentiments, the accusations in sheik Gumi's audio are really unsettling. If soldiers sworn to serve and to protect could indeed go on a killing spree all in the name of looking for cattle rustlers and end up wiping whole communities, it is a sign that the army is indeed sick.
Did the sheik report the issue to the army authorities? Did anything come out of said reporting?
At this point, the army has to come out and say something. I can understand now if the sheik sees the bandits of today an aftershoot of the victimized villagers of 2014 same way Boko haram came into an organized violent group immediately after the police killing of their former leader Yusuf.
Were security forces creating the very problems that became the monsters of today? Has anyone been held responsible since? Where is Kolawole today?
While the audio did not specify that a christian soldier unit went out to kill muslim communities, I think the sheik was trying to draw false sentiments because only one of the officers named there was labelled a christian and even the soldier who revealed the incident to the sheik being a muslim amongst others was also part of the killer squad. Also, several soldiers spoke out against the killings but it seemed the Kolawole mentioned was an officer whose orders they could not go against.
Lots of accusations, lots of questions and they all need to be answered. |
