Hi dear,

It was only after I told the cardservices rep I was going to include gtb in a civil suit for negligence if i was to raise legal action on access bank that in 48hrs later they sent the pictures of the transaction.

At the end GTB last correspondence is "Kindly note that you are required to report the issue to the appropriate Law Enforcement Agency."

Anyways I would be forwarding my complaint with a document of my correspondence with gtb cardservices to CPC as well as CBN emails. Would update with as I get more correspondence.

Local GTB customer care seat said even with the evidence that there was no picture of me with money there was nothing he could do as cardservices would be the one to resolve it.

21st September 2015 had me at the Ojoo Ibadan access bank atm on a queue. The bank has 3 atms outside. From the left the first was not working, the middle had no cash and thus the only queue was the one on the right. When it was almost my turn, a technician who was working on the first atm said it was now working and so I went to try it out (guess I was the guinea pig).

My withdrawal request for N5000 (five thousand naira) ended with the machine counting cash but did not dispense it and I got an alert that my account was debited. A bank staff outside asked me to fill a dispense error form on my bank (GTB) 's website. I then took my turn moments later and made a successful withdrawal for N6000 (six thousand naira) on the third machine - I intentionally made the amount different.

On the 23rd September 2015 I made the dispense error complaint but till this day the case is yet to be resolved. After 4 months access bank finally sent pictures to gtb of the atm capture but there was none with me with cash.

In between this I had gone to access bank in Ojoo Ibadan to see the bank manager to verify with their CCTV as well as ATM cameras as to whether it was machine error or human interference that made the money not to dispense in an area under his jurisdiction but he was not interested as he said it was the duty of my bank to resolve my issue for me. Funny that according to gtb, access bank did not provide said evidence for over 4 months. It was only after I told the cardservices rep I was going to include gtb in a civil suit for negligence if i was to raise legal action on access bank that in 48hrs later they sent the pictures of the transaction.

Now with the picture evidence I can now ask if for access bank that was their defense
1. Where is the picture of the money
2. None too soon after my failed transaction was that same ATM machine used even though there was picture evidence of a long queue on third machine
3. Why would I have made a N6000 transaction moments later on the third atm machine if the N5000 on the first was successful
4. Why not use their Ojoo CCTV to backup their claim as the overhead camera covers all 3 machines and immediate environs

So from your experience as a bank customer which of these two nigerian banks has my money?

Since September 2015. Last week's ticket ended with the GTB card services guy asking me to contact the relevant law enforcement agency as access bank did not produce an actual atm screenshot of me with cash at said atm not considering it took over four months to send the ones with me at the atm.

Wow. Thanks. Funny my case includes GTB as well. Made an ATM withdrawal on an Access bank ATM but was debited without cash dispense. Should even thread it this morning sef.

Easiest method. Send a mail to your bank, copy it to complaints@globalbankissues.com
Your bank will call you asap

Any verification to this, I have a complaint to make, the banks have been dillydallying.

You are a learned fellow. It was just sad reading a comment that the Op should stop blaming UBA. This is absolute fraud from the bank in connivance with the Op customer. They can only stop the Op from withdrawing the money since a complaint was earlier lodged from the customer that the transaction was fraudulent. Receiving complaints from the OP should make them swing into action and investigate the transaction.

They should have at that time and still possiby now televised their claims with comparision between Aba shoes and China shoes. With good evidence the tide would have blown towards their side. I think it is time they all co-sponsor a Made-In-Aba tele program showcasing all and all.

A lot of things we use(consume) do not come back and with many refuge hills it is obvious we have not considered making recycling an hobby and these wastages do not make its way back to the valuables table. The fuel we use daily. the wheat that becomes bread, the grocery nylon, the tress for paper and so on but rather we destroy more with forest fires, oil spillage and other anti-ecological practices which keep on reducing the earth's worth. Have I mentioned nuclear matter and its effect on global warming?

The earth itself is getting poorer and so are its people. Once the savanna ruminants reduce, lions and their cubs will starve.

I could also add. Take an area crying of recession, wipe out 80% of the population (hypothetically). Problem solved as the remainder all become rich. You can see the initial problem was overpopulation.

My analogy is to give proof that we are getting more and more on the planet while the raw resources made available to man are limited. Per unit head we are getting poorer. not to mention fire and other forms of destruction that would not assets be recovered.

e.g if china was to continue its one family one child policy by the time the parents are dead the grown up child would apart from his own savings inherit and so own about three times his/her original worth. the reverse would be for population blowout

considering that previous ones could not produce accurate realtime imagery which could be used for security as exposed in the latest war, a better one is needed. the question is why that was not factored into earlier ones.

As part of cost saving/recovering I wish INEC would investigate missing hard drives and printing paper that found themselves at various computer markets after previous registration exercises. They just might not get enough funding to implement new tech when it is obvious the prior was not managed well.
