You don't need to be worried. Not all applicants get the NSE request.

Hello everyone.
I’m new here. I submitted my application for study permit April 13th and did my biometrics April 26th. I submitted my Ielts with my other documents but up till now I haven’t gotten NSE request yet. Should I be worried? Pls someone should respond. Thanks

Great job guys!
How do we cordinate ourselves? The more we are in number the better.

KejiA:

Regarding this, I reached out. I was told that this is a good idea and also if we could also reach out to the Nigerian embassy in Ottawa as well.
I was able to get the contact details online:
chancery@nigeriahcottawa.ca
+1-613-236-0521-3
I would suggest sending the draft we made for ircc to them and also for those in Canada that can place a call.

We can also try to find the ambassador of the Nigerian embassy on social media @ him as well.
Name: Mr Ojo Uma Maduekwe, High Commissioner

So when is the movement starting on twitter?
I don’t think we need to create fake account, just like Indians who went to the embassy itself to complain, we are expressing our concerns as well from our keypads.
Canada need us as much as we need them because they generate income from our school fees payment, visa fees and so on.
We are only asking to be treated right and fair, I don’t think it’s wrong.

No but you can get a request for updated MBS. I know someone who got request for MBS after request for medicals. Unfortunately, he has moved the funds after his submission, he resubmitted his MBS but got a refusal.

AdoChel:
PLEASE IF MY BANK STATEMENT CERTIFICATE IS UPLOADED, WILL THE VISA OFFICER SEE THE ACCOUNT BALANCE IN REAL TIME? OR THE BALANCE AS AT THE TIME THE TICKET WAS GENERATED?

Thank you so much.

Mobi22:

Just tell the bank that you want a reference letter and you want it to be addressed the Canadian embassy
With this address

High Commission of Canada,
4 Anifowoshe Street,
Victoria Island,
Lagos,Nigeria.

And they’d handle the rest.
All the best.

Ok, thank you.
Is there a sample of how to draft the letter to be sent to the bank to request for the Reference Letter pls?

Mobi22:

No she’s talking about the reference letter that would be given by the bank states that the he/she is the sole signatory to the account
It’s needed please

I'm considering sending just My Bank Statement with my application without my Statement of Account. So I know to know if I'm still required to get a Reference Letter from the Bank. Or just My Bank Statement is sufficient.

madamg:
You mean just the mbs certificate
Or the statements.?

Travel / Re: Canadian Student Visa Thread Part 18 by Teepearls(f): 11:18am On May 10, 2021
If I have to use MBS instead of SOA while submitting my application, do I still need to get Reference letter from the bank? Or just the MBS is sufficient without the Reference letter from my bank. Thanks

ooa1st:
Just use MBS, it saves you a lot and it is more acceptable than normal SOA

Thank you so much for taking your time to explain. I appreciate.

Pinkey2021:

Yes. CBN is the bank rate. It’s also the cheapest and safest way to make tuition payment from Nig.

Go to the bank for further info. I paid through Stanbic and it took exactly 4days for my school to receive the funds and issue my receipt.

NOTE: Nigerian banks usually honour the funds payment with USD because CAD is not always readily available in Nig banks, although the school fees invoice and quote is in Canadian dollars. So, don’t be alarmed when they tell you they don’t have Canadian dollars but USD.

In simple language the bank will pay the fees via Form A using USDollars, while your school will receive it in Canadian dollars. But you’ll be billed in the CAD equivalent.

I hope I’m clear.

Hi,
Is this CBN rate applicable if I intend to pay my tuition fee using the Form A u explained earlier?
Thanks

Pinkey2021:

As at today’s rate it’s: 1CAD = N304

You're right. Thank you

The duration of the MBA at University of New Brunswick is 1 year, which automatically grants you 1 year PGWP. I don't think the duration of the PGWP should be too much of a bother to you now as there are numerous opportunities of securing your PR immediately after studies through the International Graduate Stream at the New Brunswick Altantic Province.

It will end in praise
