Her sin is same as Rochas Okorocha and Chibuike Amaechi for choosing what is right and refusing to join in "Jonathan must continue stealing till 2019" agenda. The more inexplicable thing about their hatred for Oby is the fact that she is not in any political party nor has she aspired for any position. They often ascribe APC membership to her and create false stories to discredit her. It is well.
that is what happens when one person stands for the truth and what is right.

Of course, you weren't ; of course, you weren't. You and the slutty OP are cloaked in similar robes of deception adorned with intricately woven lies. Desperately you cling on to it, never wanting to take it off 'cause there and then you'd be revealed for what you really are - two-timing, female 'decepticons'.

The truth always screws you all though. It'd shred your robes of falsehood in the process.

the real charges is "Offences Related to witchcraft and practicing Juju" contrary to section 216 of the penal code laws of northern Nigeria. But I don't know that of criminal code.
true that.

criminal code does not provide for offences relating to witchcraft as it is not recognised as a crime in the south. it cannot be used as a defence sef.

nope, it does not come with prison terms because it is a civil suit.

Barrister, on this promise to marry law sha...

So, if I kneel down to propose to bae and she says yes, I cannot stand up and cancel it? What if my long lost crush were unexpectedly available. Would I be unable to defect to her side? grin
if you propose to someone and she agrees and you end up not marrying her, it is a breach of promise on your own part and vice versa. that's how it is stricto sensu, although in this parts, one can still break off an engagement and life goes on. a party can bring an action in court and would succeed especially if he/she has lost something tangible as a result of a broken engagement.

marriage is like a contract so to speak. promise to marry can be evidenced in writing, by words of mouth or by the action of the parties.

exceptions can be seen in cases of misrepresentation, mistake and contracts made by a minor who does not have a guardian in loco parentis. in that case, promise to marry can be voided.

3. Christian wives: This might be one of the strangest laws. Under the law, a wife of a Christian marriage is not criminally responsible for an act which she is actually compelled by her husband to
do in his presence.
There is however an exception, if it is an offence punishable with death, or one in which grievous harm to the person of another, or an intention to cause such harm.

What does this mean?
when it comes to Christain marriage, the law recognises the fact that both man and wife are one. as when one of them commits a crime, none of them will be held liable. exceptions are abound in circumstances listed above.

it is repugnant in my opinion since one is meant to be liable for crimes committed irrespective of status.

even under the rules of evidence, a man cannot be compelled to testify against his wife and vice versa except in cases of offences of a sexual nature.
Crime › Re: 7 Strange Laws In The Nigerian Constitution That Could Land You In Jail by Teespice(f): 4:11pm On Sep 10, 2016
number 7 get as e be. I can't find anywhere in our written laws where number 7 is prohibited.

the last time I checked, under the cultural compatibility of the criminal code, witchcraft wasn't recognised under the criminal code and people who committed crimes under the guise of witchcraft and black magic were convicted and sentenced accordingly. I really wish I could cite cases to back up my point but I have forgotten the names but can still remember the principles and parts of the judgment. unless the status quo ante has been changed.

I agree with the rest.

odd enough, these laws are not found in the constitution. they are found in the marriage act, criminal code and the evidence act.

as humans, death is inevitable. someday we will all die.

preparing a will is what most people will see as an invitation to death but it is not so. it is a way of organising your affairs after ones demise so that things still stay the way it is, more like putting your house in order.

sadly, most people think otherwise once will is mentioned.

truly:
In Lagos and most states in the South, this is not true
Infact the Nigerian Stock Exchange has formed the habit of fixing meetings at 1pm on Fridays

Christians started it

CAN president said in 2013 that they were treated like second class citizens
When they said it, there was no Muslim minister from the entire South in Jonathan's cabinet
BTW - When PDP was governing in Osun State, Both Oyinlola and His deputy Erelu Obada were Christians
Nobody knew because Muslims don't usually make noise about such things

They have repeated this claim of being second class citizens this year
The new CAN president said no matter what happens Christians will continue to wear Church robe to school
CAN never saw anything wrong with the school uniform because they don't wear church robe to CHRISTIAN PRIVATE school

The noise is about stopping Muslims, not about Christians wanting to wear church attire to school
They also said we cannot practise Islamic Banking
in the north, workers do work half day on Fridays. in lagos, jumat is observed at one ish in the afternoon. I don't know of other southern states.
Christianity Etc › Re: We Want Fridays Declared Work-free For Muslims Like Sundays – MURIC Director by Teespice(f): 8:55pm On Sep 04, 2016
Friday falls on a weekday while sunday falls on a weekend.

most states work half day on Fridays to enable slims observe jumat.

I wonder why this cleric is trying to stroke the embers of religious crisis again by putting ideas into the heads of muslims

religion and tribalism are two canker worms eating deep into the society sha.
