Those who asked which party i voted for may have this to toy with....

I voted Change..PMB/PYO.

Have we quickly forgotten that this is a CBN policy and not a PMB directive? Who appointed the CBN boss? Is this not a remnant of cluelessness??
help me tell them

To the best of my knowledge, inflows (transfers) have not been blocked. Received payment last week by inflow, so long as you satisfy the bank's KYC requirements. What has been blocked are cash deposits and local dollar inter-bank transfers
but cbn has to create an option for cash deposite, sme use this method for importation of raw material...you cannot throw the baby away with the bath water

The point is that, the dollarisation of the economy by allowing banks to accept currency deposits other than the naira, the dissadvantages and damage to the economy far far outweighs the economic benefits. There's a reason why no serious nation allows that.
i think blocking forex inflow into account a major source of forex for nigerians over $20usd billions is an error... i had to bypass cbn, compelled my foreign partner to send perfect money recently

Especially the incompetent CBN governor, Emefiele appointed by your hero GEJ,who comes up with these laughable policies.
i think emefiele should be replaced asap... imaging stoping forex inflow into dom account...over $20usd billion p/a from nigerians and benefactors abroad deleted just like that...destructive school boy error if you ask me

Depositing of forex may sound as a good thing but it was abused and it led to the dollarisation of the economy. We got to a point where some schools accepted school fees in dollars only and some businesses accepted payments in dollars only. I wouldnt want to go into details of the running of elections in dollars in Nigeria. Within a naira economy, when dollars starts competing with the naira as the main currency, I'm sure I dont have to explain to you what that means to the value of the naira and the economy?... No country in the world allows that.
one reason against forex deposit but is that enough reason?

Expected! Those PDP riggers rigged with stupidity in that last election in Rivers, Akwa Ibom and partially in Delta.

The elections in Akwa Ibom and Rivers was a total sham. We should stop deceiving ourselves. I still dont understand why it was necessary for them to rig, when they were poised to win the election.

Let another election be conducted and let the PDP win maturely.
exactly, let them win a credible election
