It is the GMD that will authorize the HR to release it. Twitter and other media pressure will help to keep the matter on the front burner.

From Information gathered from both the Town-hall meeting today and my source,The outcome of the IOR and MPE will be made open before the end of the week and the focus will be on the Experienced Hire Component.
If by the end of Q1 2021,The experienced hire have not been contacted; Gentlemen....it will be time to move on.
Somehow,Somehow...we have been affected by this recruitment in one way or the other, either our present jobs have suffered or the wait has messed our abilities to plan our future, or even emotionally and mentally.One thing is certain,You guys are Strong.

One of the benefits of terrorism is population control.. With the high rate of population explosion currently bedeviling Nigeria, there are bound to be food shortages, high rate of unemployment, which will multiply crime rates; decline in social infrastructure, lower standard of living, etc..

Another benefit of terrorism is that it provides religious adherents another means to Heaven.. Unlike suicide, which is a sin, death from terrorism is organic. You can die happily without fear of going to hell. Suicide doesn't guarantee this....

So having terrorism linger for 20 more years isn't a totally bad thing. After all, we all gonna die, so? The most important thing is to die a believer. Cos ending terrorism is not ending death.. It seems that the default setting of most people is to believe bad news and to have negative assumptions. It wasn't long ago that Ezalb and nilnilsef informed us that the corporation has EH in mind. Even the GMD in June volunteered same info on getting back to the EH as soon as possible. Yet most of us here are spewing negativity like the 10 Hebrew spies sent to survey the promised land with Caleb and Joshua.
As for me I'm not surprised by the long delay. A friend of mine working in FIRS had to wait for 2 years before getting APL. Just pray that as the corporation is defining it's needs that they decide that we're needed.

This summarises my sentiments too. People here are more inclined to believe any sign of a negative outcome than of a positive one.

I believe that the outcome shall be positive.

The EH guys should just relax as the recruitment is still active. The ongoing exams are for management cadre especially those that are managers and the successful ones that ace the exams and subsequent interviews will be moving to general manager level. Also, recently nnpc has retired a lot of staffs and the numbers this September is quite much so there are a lot of spaces left for EH to fill even after promotion of workers on SS5 - SS1 cadre.

The recruitment is still ALIVE.

I really don't know why the cancellation rumours is peddled. If GMD said NNPC will get back to us after they're done with the ongoing skills gap needs, why don't we chill and watch what happens next and if the GTs resume as well, we can then begin to go down the cancellation rumours if nothing happens. For me, until it's official, it's all but rumours for now.

Me too. Until it's officially announced I am still waiting for my APL.
