PoliticsRe: Petrol Market Price Hits N241, Pushes Subsidy To N76 Per Litre by Tekrify(m): 9:33pm On Apr 29, 2021
Drop comments that don't make people question ur intelligence...market price hitting N241 or even N500 isn't the fault of buhari and has absolutely nothing to do with Nigeria..cuz Nigeria isn't OPEC or the country controlling the market... The best government does is to pay subsidy in this case ..more subsidies so that u don't have to buy it at that rate..
Saverin:
Fuel N241.

E no go funny, hmmm

Buhari is a complete failure, a collosal disgrace and an unmitigated disaster.

He can't even address the nation. Tueh!

God punish all the people that enabled this failure especially the people that voted for him again in 2019.

Fixing the refinery doesn't have an effect on petro prices...Petrol market is a global market and it price just reached N241...try to read and comprehend...
Even if we were producing locally it simply means.. government will have to pay subsidies to reduce the price...this one doesn't consign. Nigeria with refinery or NNPC at all..cuz they don't control the prices in the global market
valentineuwakwe:
Nobody wants to say the truth in this country.....everyone in power keep pretending that all is well, whereas things are bad.....there is much anger in the land driving up insecurity yet government will blames some persons or groups.
how can you have crude oil, yet be importing same into the country? you complain of high increase yet you can't fix your refineries so as to sell at normal price and stop the payment you are paying called subsidy, what a country and what a failed government!
if ever petrol goes for N250 or N300 per litre, i wonder what will happen to the common man on the streets......Nigeria is about to shake

Well, actually the tax credit is backed by law under the Road Infrastructure Tax Credit scheme. So in this regard, Dangote is only reaping the benefit of his investment in developing road infrastructure in Nigeria.

A lot of Nigerians criticize without understanding what they are criticizing. This tax credit is also available to Flour Mills and some other private entities.

. There is a policy that allows private company or individual to build infrastructure.. and the cost will be deducted from ur taxes.. Dangote can afford to build roads. BUA can't.. Simple
NLNG is using the same policy to build Bodo bonny bridge at a cost of 120bn in portharcourt...so argue facts not sentiment

It obviously IPOB...
boko haram aren't in the SE and if they were.. churches will be bombed and the likes...
It obviously not bandit cuz they are not know to specifically attack Security agents..
Like wise herdsmen whose aim is to take over farms unchallenged and challenges any one against it...
This leaves the only group that can do such to be IPOB...cuz obviously..Ipob suffered the same thing by police and army...it obviously pay back time...

It has nothing to do against speaking against IPOB....They are the unknown gunmen
UnabashedIPOB:
Here we go again, another IDIOT spewing arrant nonsense. What freaking evidence do you have that IPOB was the one that killed the ZOO soldiers? FOOLS like the dumb ass who wrote this article are nothing but agents of the ZOO government. Their silence is deafening when the recalcitrant FULANI government is killing the indigenous people but the moment the people rise up, these numbskulls start propagating their FAKE STORIES and blaming IPOB. Is IPOB the only indigenous people that have an ax to grind with the DAMNED ZOO government? Absolutely NOT. How many INNOCENT civilians and NON-IPOB members had been MURDERED by the agents of the ZOO government including the military, DSS and the police? It's not only very disingenuous but dangerous to open your stinky mouth without any evidence and blame IPOB. Crazy MOFOS every where!

We seriously need restructuring
Gift52:
Nigeria is a scam, the problem is not Nigerians but Nigerias Constitution. The document upon which we were formed were put together by few soldiers and their surrogates - Pastor Paul Adefarasin

Watch video here

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=J5KCY5Z6O3s

The Founder of House on the Rock Church backed this up by pointing out that Nigerians succeed in sciences and arts when they leave the country.

He also stated that the next administration must not access power until we have a veritable constitution that is truly the document of “we the people”.

Pastor Adefarasin stated that everyone is suffering in Nigeria even though we can easily be one of the top three countries in the world with the resources we have.

He also added that the international community should not come and tell us what to do or about democracy because no election has ever been free and fair except that of Abiola.

Are you blind to see that a 650,000 bpd refinery is being built in lekki...

Even if we don't see a refinery in the next 2 decade... dangote refining capacity can take care of our demands...to top it up.. buhari wanna rehabilitate portharcourt refinery...that adds 110,000bpd capacity...

Less Dan 5 years all these refineries will be running full capacity..fuel import will be history but subsidies will still remain.. because these refineries are there to make money and their price tags for fuel must correspond with the international price (which Nigerians cant afford ) so obviously only the Forex used to import will saved...
FG wil have to settle dangote meaning the smuggling continues....
Or maybe u will love to buy fuel above N300 per litre...

PoliticsRe: How Smuggled Petrol From Nigeria Floods Niger, Cameroon, Benin, Togo by Tekrify(m): 8:08am On Apr 05, 2021
All he said is pure facts..
NNPC has always cried out about the smuggling and how it cost them more billions to subsidize...

Even if we begin to produce fuel locally (dangote) the fuel should be sold at international price which government has no control of ..the same way government doesn't have control of crude oil price....but the bad news is that the standard price is higher than N200...so if government choose to pay dangote subsidies to reduce the price expect the smuggling to continue...

The final solution is to remove subsidies..that the only way...
Once that is done even if it is still be smuggled (which will reduce cuz the buiness would have been ruined). It won't cost Nigeria our scarce Forex..
Everybody wins

PoliticsRe: Outrage As FG Admits Paying Fuel Subsidy After Removal by Tekrify(m): 10:45am On Mar 31, 2021
Kerosene is useless as LNG is the most used now..only a minute fraction of cars uses diesel...

For gov to remove subsidies on kerosene and diesels but leave petro should teach u something...

Nigerians can't afford to have demand and supply determine fuel cost...it like Ur ready to buy a litre for N250...that y ur soliciting for subsidy removal...the time fuel increase from 97 to 143..what did Nigerians do... hypocrite.. if there was enough money government could have just paid more money to maintain 97 naira...
But here u are with subsidies till being paid it 164.. imagine if it is removed..

Take note the price will never ever drop if subsidies are removed....u act like Nigerians especially the 87 million living below the poverty line will happily accept it....
Please go back to school
fitzmayowa:
You should be the one getting the education I can't waste my precious time educating you, government have no business in subsidy when the subsidy in diesel and kerosine was completely removed what happened?

The problem with you is you think you know but you don't and you keep dishing out your ignorance here, like I said you lack comprehension skill and you should take classes for better understanding, when subsidy goes market forces determines the price of comodity (I hope you won't start asking what's market forces)....

To you its wise that the government earns revenue and in turn waste it on paying huge subsidy? I'm done trying to educate you please go and read up on this things for understanding....

But with all ur years of living in Nigeria...u never knew Once fuel increase every fucking thing including transportation increases...
Inshort fuel increase has more effect on the economy than dollar increase cuz Every individual both educated and daft will inflate their prices immediately..

Am not consigned about their lies....am telling u fact that...if they left the market to be free from subsidies.. ordinary Nigerians will not be able to afford it...a barrel of oil has risen...it makes sense for government to return subsidies or expect fuel to reach N200...have u ignoramus tried finding out the landing cost of fuel in Nigeria..and see the reason government have to subsidize it or else..those in the business won't make profit...please do if u haven't...

And yeah maybe government should have kept quiet the first place...but it wasn't a lie ..that what some people don't understand and they are not confused...they probably didn't predict an appreciation in oil prices which will automatically push the price up....
Get ur self educated..
If any of my spelling is wrong..it probably my keyboard or me making mistake cuz am typing fast...
Peace
fitzmayowa:
When they told you to learn comprehension in school you thought your teachers were saying it for saying it sake now go through the post again and apply your comprehension skills...

If only you took comprehension very seriously you would have deciphered that if the government says it has completely removed subsidy it has no business paying such huge amount on subsidy again, I'm very sure you were one of those that went to ojota back then to dance the dance of shame against subsidy removal....

Is it not confusion that will make the clueless government say they completely removed subsidy only for them to come back again and say they are wasting billions every month on the same subsidy?

Some of you will just buy 10mb and start yarning anyhow here....whew!!!
PoliticsRe: Outrage As FG Admits Paying Fuel Subsidy After Removal by Tekrify(m): 8:31am On Mar 27, 2021
Please take that statement back...

Fuel is a product that is rice and fall influence almost everything you will ever buy....are u that daft ..so I think if they removed subsidies and the price jumbs to N300 or so..u still expecting to buy rice , pepper and other commodities at the same price?...
Even the price of condom will increase...it like u don't know how fuel and dollar influence the price of commodities in Nigeria...so just take that useless statement back
kaludestiny10:
The huge amount of money that this present government usually quote in any expenditure that they carry out is out of this world.
Is it not better for them to share the 120billion naira to every citizen of Nigeria and allow us to buy the petrol at any amount that they deem fit.
Corrupt fellows.
PoliticsRe: Outrage As FG Admits Paying Fuel Subsidy After Removal by Tekrify(m): 8:27am On Mar 27, 2021
That what some confused lunatics don't want to understand... imagine 120bn a month on subsidies..that 1.3 trillion per year... imagine if they channels that to power or infrastructure...

But there is no way government can allow the petroleum market flow or else we will die ..cuz fuel will same as dollar price if the price of Crude oil and other factors start acting funny..
CapodeCapouti:
Kerosene used to be N50 back in the days of subsidy. When subsidy was removed completely, the price of kerosene went up and never came down. It remained there.

Same will happen to petrol, nigerians don't be deceived.
PoliticsRe: Outrage As FG Admits Paying Fuel Subsidy After Removal by Tekrify(m): 8:23am On Mar 27, 2021
They never claimed there was nothing like subsidies there....
Nigeria has been paying subsidies since the 80s..
timefarm:
It is sad.
We can now see how much previous government was paying on subsidy when barrel of oil was close to 100 follars.. And this stupid government was claiming there is nothing called subsidy then.
PoliticsRe: Outrage As FG Admits Paying Fuel Subsidy After Removal by Tekrify(m): 8:20am On Mar 27, 2021
The government are not magicians...a barrel of oil has risen to 70 dollars and above... definitely fuel cost will rise..it better that the government lies and continue to subsidize that product...cuz if they leave the market u should expect fuel to fluctuate which is what Nigerians are not used to...fuel price is never stagnant.. the reason why it so for a while despite the rise and fall of crude is because government is subsidizing the product....

Let them remove that subsidy like they did for power and watch Nigerians scream to die than to bare the pains
folks4luv:
You are yet to answer the question raised. The govt increased pump price twice and announced it has removed subsidy. The minister of Finance said they have totally removed subsidy and there is no place for it in the budget. The question is, at what point did the govt decide to reintroduce the subsidy? Paying 120b monthly even though it was not reflected in the budget? The bone of contention is not the price but the many lies we are being fed with.
PoliticsRe: Outrage As FG Admits Paying Fuel Subsidy After Removal by Tekrify(m): 8:16am On Mar 27, 2021
It obvious you are also confused as well...
The cost per litre of fuel is roughly 180 ...Can't ur brain tell you that if government doesn't continue to pay that dues .that fuel price wil rise ..ur more confused than the government...when electricity subsidies were removed the same lunatics screening yahoo government were deeply against it.. fuel should never be 180 at all if government should allow the petroleum market to flow depending on the global demand and supply chain of Crude oil...you think fuel will be 180..anymore...some of you folks are very confused and don't know what u want....

Yes subsidies are bad..but will u be happy to buy fuel for 250 naira?
fitzmayowa:
This what you get when you come into power through propaganda, they were never ready for governance, its just confusion for the past 6 years and Nigerian are paying the costly price for their incompetence....
