Think about what ur saying...87 to 90 percent of Nigeria poverty comes from the north..it even more..that to tell u that...the south isn't poor no matter how to see it...that figure is from the world bank..so u will be happy if government decides to spend 5.3bn DOLLARS on Hausa Fulani to get them out of poverty than to build modern infrastructure that benefits every Nigerian.... Use ur brain abeg... If u hear that government wants to do such to lift poverty in Nigeria..which means more than 80 percent will be spent in the north.... Am not sure u will be happy either... Zico5: 5.3 billions on rail alone when poverty is at highest level. It shall never be better for these people. How can this country move forward with these wasteful manner for God sake. Is it not better to divert this particular money to something that will surely lift Nigeria out of poverty. Our refinery is moribund, money market is catastrophic, yet they are borrowing billions of dollars to build liability that the half of the money will be looted. |

Nigerians and ignorance is at an insane level ..please if u have no clue of how something works..do the internet a favour and keep quiet... Abuja Kaduna railine is currently congested...if u go to idu ..u can wait for hours and not get ticket...just weeks ago the fair almost triples yet people are still paying and the rail running at maximum capacity...the same thing will happen to Lagos Ibadan rail line... Inshort it best to have the entire length Completed (Lagos to Kano to Maradi) to generate massive income from both freight and passenger travel... Ajaokuta Kano gas pipeline is not a failed project..the future of Nigeria is gas..as oil is gradually fading..we have more gas reserves than oil... because of the environmental implication of oil and it product... everything is being switched to gas cuz it way cleaner and very cheap..that one of the reason why FG wants to convert many vehicles to run on gas... The pipeline is part of an integrated African pipeline system that stretches down to north Africa passing the sea down to Europe..this will allow Nigeria export gas to Europe in the future..the way it does with oil today.. winterfell007: It's very evident to the blind that Lagos to Calabar railway will be more viable and economical, i guess that's where the Chinese are delaying in funding the project. This government has politized the whole thing. The Abuja-Kaduna railway is looking unviable because of the banditry ongoing along that routes, just look at the money we wasted building that almost failed project Now the AKK Gas project is another political project that is bound to fail. This northerners have completely wreck Nigeria beyond repair |

Your thinking is shallow..if fuel is the only thing that is derived from crude oil then u have a lot to learn..I repeat a lot...ur not wiser than dangote that is building Africa biggest refinery... There simply machines that can't work with solar..airplanes still and will still require fuel...no factory can ever run with solar... Nigeria is currently developing it has resources especially with the ajaokuta Kano pipe line..which will Futher be extended to Europe to export gas...Factories don't run on solar but on gas...there are still modern industries who still utilizes coal... If you know nothing about the oil and gas industry just pack well... A lot of big machines will still require diesel to run.. locomotive, sportcars, jet...ur telling me they Will all go Electric ...you no nothing.. Inshort because of climate change and some other environmental factors.... The world is quickly switching to gas ..so if oil loses value... Nigeria has more gas than oil...so we are still up for the challenge... another thing to know is that Africa us different from the US...it will take more than a century before electric cars become normal in Africa...so our traditional PMS had diesel will still be in demand.... Dpharisee: Elon Musk produces electric cars and high powered batteries called Tesla Power Wall with 20 years warranty. The reality is that Elon Musk is making the oil which we are still spending billions to search for in the North to become useless. Some gas and coal power plants in UK are on the verge of shutting down because many homes can now generate their own power and even sell excess back to the grid using Power Wall and solar.
Countries like UAE and Saudi Arabia seeing the 'danger' posed by Tesla are developing futuristic models to diversify from oil which may not rebound as demand remains low coupled with the impact of Covid19.
Nigeria which failed to plan is now in a tight corner, UK and France in 2019 have already declared a 10 year deadline to phase out all petrol and diesel cars. This was what happened to coal driven locomotives years back when oil and gas was discovered.
Nigeria seeing Elon Musk gradually taking down our sole source of revenue resorted to taking loans from China, IMF, world bank, Brazil and babiya Allahring for help from every corner of the earth in taking care of either insecurity or Covid19.
Now that we have over borrowed and the likelihood of repayment from oil is now slimmer and our creditors are no longer ready to grant us more loans we are resorting to stealing people's money that are dormant in the banks to pay civil servants salaries instead of looking for the owners of the deposits and dividends |

How I wished we could champion moghalu.... I don't see what Peter obi did in anambra that I can use to cheer him... Obiano is better (my opinion)..but honestly Obi has character..but.. Nigeria need people who have done wonders before in Nigeria like umahi with infrastructure..and moghalu in economy PHijo: Umahi lacks character. He will definitely have to do without my support. So far, the only men from the South east I can support are Peter Obi and Kingsley Moghalu. Maybe the South east should present other options people could select from.
The South west doesn't deserve the office but if they field Akinwunmi Adesina I may have a change of heart.
Apart from Zulum's zeal to deal with Boko Haram and uplift his people not much is known about him. His thinking when it comes to economic policies is very important. That's one of the reasons Nigeria suffers from the current predicament.
When it comes to policy I know where Atiku stands, that's a plus for him but a big minus is how he handles public assets.
2023 is likely going to be the North east or South east. I think politicians from both zones in all the political parties should form a united front to actualize their dream. |

But the fact is that even if APC give Umahi the ticket to run, our Igbo brothers will still vote against the party because we seem to be blind folded politically. From apapa owonronshoki road to Lagos Ibadan express road to Lagos Ibadan rail line... Most of his capital projects are in the west Plus the fact that in as much as most of his appointment are in the north...the next ethnic group with a substantial share are the yorubas... At least Yoruba will get something from his government..compared to GEJ that did not even commission a single completed federal road Any Igbo man who will prefer GEJ to bubu is mad... Cuz Bubu has more projects in the east than the entire 16 years of pdp and their presidents Grace001: So IGBOs are expect sympathy presidential slot from both parties where they didn’t actually work.
