The facts is securID has class...check this office in Lagos.. A company that has one of the only six VISA license in the whole Africa.. And the first in sub Sahara Africa..

What if it wasn't his fault or so...
If one of ur family is there and he apologize u will still insist he should be sacked...
It just a simple error and ur already running mad..
It takes some high level of professionalism for a force to admit it wrong . something u can never find in any ministry or agency in Nigeria.. Biko appreciate them
Ur talking about the IDP bombing...please go and compare it to what the US military has done to innocent civilians during a war..let not go to Russia or Vietnam.

Such a shame! Reactions as usual show how mediocre as a people we have become, easily satisfied and appeased by empty words without demanding excellence or accountability! Why aren't we hearing of someone resigning, reprimanded by way of demotion or even sacked?
Tomorrow some careless personnel will commit similar blunders and the military command will cover it up with some mealy mouthed apology only because they were caught pants down! If Sahara did not spot this, they would have gotten away with their lies!

That is how they used airstrikes to murder IDPs about 2-3 years ago in Borno and all we heard was useless justification without compensation and justice for victims and even those left traumatized!
PoliticsRe: Nigeria’s Rail Costs Exceed AU’s Estimates By Over 100% by Tekrify(m): 7:18am On Jan 19, 2021
Exactly...the ones Nigerians call less corrupt didn't build a kilometre of modern tracks with stations...the one dey tagged the most corrupt will commission 3 rail lines... Lagos Ibadan happens to be the most modern of them all...warri itakpe rail line..just check out the warri station..and Abuja Kaduna railine...it 100 percent better to have rail that will be started and Completed than to have none at all...
Am still suprise how some daft Nigerians cal Buhari the most corrupt when those who dey think are least corrupt with better economy and extremely sweet oil money during their time did absolutely nothing....

Nigerians are hypocrites, daft and very confused
AU should go and fuvk themselves...an organisation that couldn't react or do shit about Uganda election ..how can u seat and watch someone who has been president for over 30 years and u still congratulate for another tenure...fuvk angry angry angry ..but wants to come and be toiling with Nigerians

Expensive and over inflated rail is better than no rail. Where is the expensive one that Yakubu Gowon, Muritala Muhammed, Gen Olusegun Obasanjo, Shehu Shagari, IBB, Sani Abacha, Abdulsalami Abubakar, Chief Olusegun Obasanjo, Sheu Musa Yar’Adua and Goatluck Jonaddaft built? If they have all built expensive and inflated rails and trains, Nigeria will be a role model to Europe and America.

Nonetheless, contract inflators and treasury looters will be struck by the god of Thunder and their generations yet unborn will die miserable deaths.
PoliticsRe: Nigeria’s Rail Costs Exceed AU’s Estimates By Over 100% by Tekrify(m): 7:10am On Jan 19, 2021
We don't need high-speed trains...
A country that has no kilometer of narrow gauge all of a sudden is thinking of high-speed.. Let complete the standard guage first... secondly...you don't have a clue of how much am high speed rail cost.. If Nigeria was to do one and they present the cost to you in dollars you will still carry ur confused mind and insult them...mean while check the average cost it takes the western world to build that... thirdly..
We need our tails for both freight and passenger travel...
High-speed rail are only for passengers..

Lastly will u pay 40k for a trip from Lagos to Abuja on high speed rail?...cuz some of u daft ones will think they will still6 be charging 8k regular buses collect for high-speed after spending billions to build..
KingZaddy:
....

Nigeria is too slow to be likeable, we shouldn't be talking about railways now, we ought have gone past these ancient trains. Nigeria is suppose to be using high speed electric trains but that doesn't look like it will happen anytime soon.

What u say is partially true...you see china borrowed sri lanka money to build a sea port..the sea port didn't generate enough money to pay back the debts ..so china took over the port for 99 years to run it and recover their money...
What happened if u study the story very well is that that port from the very beginning was not economically viable and sir lanka asked for loans from countries like India who said No because it will be a loss for them cuz the port won't generate enough revenue...
China taking over the port was as a result of Sri Lanka's president foolishness and mistake..

The same agreement is present with the loans Nigeria took...if we don't pay back ..what ever infrastructure we used that money to build will be taken as collateral....
And it still the same thing Banks and other financial institutions will do...

Now because it a country not a financial institution in this case then u can now have cases of China bringing their workers which ofcourse u can't accuse dem against it cuz they own the property already...

I think this government is begin careful with what it takes it loans for..Buhari took loans for Lagos Ibadan rail, AKK gas pipeline and warri itakpe rail line..
All of which are extremely viable.. although the warri itakpe rail line can be debatable only because the ajaokuta steel mill is dead and warri port is almost dead...but I am confident that Lagos Ibadan and the gas project will generate enough to pay back....

U see previous government were the ones who I think were very foolish..they borrowed money to build Abuja metro line and Abuja Kaduna railine..
Abuja metro today is almost dead...do u know that if not for the security issues on Abuja Kaduna road..that railline will run at a loss..Inshort amaechi admitted that at a time it was seriously running at a loss..
So Jonathan instead of borrowing such loans for Lagos Ibadan which is fucking viable or maybe building a new sea port at bonny to decongest apapa ..the idiot took money to build in almost a death zone... rubbish..
If we are to have problems..part of the blaim should go to PDP with their foolishness....

But over all we can link our rail to the port and connect it to maradi.i honestly don't think Nigeria case will be like Sri Lanka..

Farki:
This isn't a case of Nigeria paying Julius Berger to build X infrastructure, China is giving Nigeria loans which they will use to pay Chinese engineers. When the project is finished we will have to pay back China the loan money. ,
When we eventually are unable to pay it back due to the weak and ever dwindling economy we will give them control. Sri Lanka gave China control of their port for 99 years because they couldn't pay back the massive debt

https://wap.business-standard.com/article/international/sri-lanka-leased-hambantota-port-to-china-for-99-yrs-now-it-wants-it-back-119112900206_1.html

China will bring it's own workers and citizens to manage the infrastructure, taking jobs away from Nigerians. They will buy large amounts of property like they did in the US West Coast and Canada even if they don't live in those properties. After bringing enough of their people they will build military bases to protect their assets. This will go on until the country is completely colonised.

See this isn't buying a house from a bank on credit, this is the equivalent of giving your neighbour your last born son in order to obtain money from him. I'm not saying taking a loan is bad but the terms of the loan are grossly asymmetrical and could have severe consequences several years down the line.

You are saying what happened, I am saying what will happen because in Nigeria nothing is ever straightforward.
TravelRe: Pictures Of The New International Terminal At MMIA by Tekrify(m): 12:50pm On Jan 16, 2021
Look...some of y'all need to get educated atleast..
Even when u go to the bank to borrow money....the bank will ask for something as collateral...it not rocket science or wickedness...

The key thing is we borrowed money..and we have to pay back in due time.. simple..
There is nothing wrong with China using their own project as collateral...

The same term of agreement is applied to every other country...
So ur now telling me that assuming we don't pay back..the Chinese should be looking like dummies or what ..please there is no big deal in using the project as a collateral..the same thing is applies to banks during loan application...even people who do ajo money do it.. it just a way to secure that money...

And even if we don't pay back..are the Chinese now going to pack the terminal back to China..use ur head they will simply claim ownership and run it till they re cover their money... That is what banks around the globe do

Simple truth....
Don't forget nepotism...

Let bubu give up Nepotism at least ... support restructuring and start being a democrat not a general ..atleast that will cover the small shame for security...

Over all bubu tried in infrastructure... security hasn't changed from GEJ time..I can't say it got worse..cuz in GEJ time...if u see how north was hell almost 9 state were under fire..but today it only borno..and Maiduguri is safer than it used to...I think the herdsmen issue just replaced those previous calamities
etrouble:
In infrastructure, Buhari is better than Nigeria’s leader from the time of the greedy white colonial masters to the first indegenous leaders after independence, and to date. Buhari is an infrastructure freek. His name will be written in Gold.

However, if a Major General cannot provide security for his people, then he is a major failure. His name that is is written in Gold for infrastructure will also be written in Blood for killing his own people by not providing security when he is supposed to be a security expert.
TravelRe: Pictures Of The New International Terminal At MMIA by Tekrify(m): 12:19pm On Jan 16, 2021
Ur talking as if many of the projects specifically airport all around Africa were built by indigenous companies..
If the airport was built by Germany company, Julius Berger..let me ask..is Julius Berger an indigenous companies..all are still the same foreign companies Including CCECC of Chinese origin the contractor who built this...
There is no airport in Nigeria built by an indigenous company the same for Africa ...so please it not peculiar to Nigeria alone..

Even the almighty Dubai seemed for loans for it airport expansion..many of their projects were not 100 percent government funded..so I don't see why u should complain about the project being funded by loans..the key thing is that it should be able to generate enough revenue to pay back .. u and I know that the Lagos airport can do dat..

It only the airline that I must say is a shame..over all it better to have a standard airport that works and accommodate airlines Dan to have our own airline...

Honestly there isn't any big deal if we have an airline or not...it doesn't stop anyone from flying to Nigeria.. even if we did..it doesn't mean every Nigerian will use it ..the main thing is to have a terminal that is comfortably efficient and free of corruption and any airline (local and international) can comfortably work with...
Simple..

U don't have to look for a reason to hate what is good
Farki:
Nigeria didn't even build it, China did. If Nigeria built it by themselves it would be just like 4th mainland bridge, a nonexistent project.

We don't even have a single aircraft for the fictional Nigerian Airways but you're celebrating thishuh

Anybody still talking about patriotism for a project like this is simply ignorant.
TravelRe: Pictures Of The New International Terminal At MMIA by Tekrify(m): 10:04am On Jan 16, 2021
Truth is bubu effort in infrastructure is really commendable...it not about starting a project or initiation.. completing it is of utmost importance...even if life it not how u start that really matters but how u end...

Secondly the economic issues and the situation that we have to borrow for everything is simply because Oil has lost it glory..and previous administration when oil was still very sweet didn't use the money for anything..we have more infrastructure under bubu Dan any government...and the previous administration couldn't diversify when dey had the money and chance to do it...

This is why bubu increased VAT and is taxing almost everything from stamp duty to corrier service..u name it ..so it looks like he is being wicked..but the truth is ..this tax system is normal in every other country.. Nigeria just has a poor tax system that y government since 1980s depended on oil so much....
Also the fall in oil prices raised dollar price and ofcourse everything became extremely expensive..

The country position today is as a result of the partly contribution of previous administration in the economy especially in diversifying
Badguy89:
Laudable but small in my opinion. This project was initiated by the GEJ administration and completed by the Buhari administration. Regardless of party politics we must appreciate that government is a continnum. From the rail projects to the roads and the airport terminal (Abuja and Lagos) we commend both guys for the initiative. However in all, Buhari has ruined this country for the next president. Now we find ourselves in a situation where we have to sell national assets or borrow depositors money to fund the 2021 budget.

Secondly..if we begin to produce fuel locally the story won't change....if crude oil price rise respect the fuel price to rises too... except u still want government to subsidize it by paying dangote billions to stabilise the price...the only thing local production will do is to greatly save Forex...it won't guarantee a price reduction because.fuel price has a standard fix price that is influenced by crude oil price...Even the minister of finance confirmed this
