I recently transferred my service to another arm of the service. For about 6 months I didn't see salary, while trying to sort it out, I met someone who told me when and how many months I was going to be paid and I was paid exactly as she said. She also told me that pending the decision of the governor that the new salary will be paid this month. I'll meet with her tomorrow and I'll find out the true position of things since voucher has been closed and I'll pass the info to everyone here. I hope and pray that teachers will be paid the new salary this month. 10 years on the job without promotion is neither easy nor good. You should be hopeful that you’ll be paid this month, you have every right to and you deserve it

Thanks for the information! You are a good man. My brother we have the right but our rights have been trampled upon by the last administration. Working in a place without promotion for 10 years it's really a pathetic situation especially when you see your friends in federal ministries getting steady promotion and increment to their salary.

The truth of the matter is that am not expecting to see increment because I don't want anything to spoil my mind but If I see any increment in my salary this month end,of cos I will be happy.

My guy who works with ministry of health in Secretariat; told me they have started giving out promotion letters to some ministries. He also told me that ministry of finance has started working on the salary increase on those who have collected their letters. So let's be hopeful. If we don't get our increment it will definitely come as arrears.

I was told by a senior staff in ssssb that the recruitment exercise was cancelled or better say it's on hold for now.You can inquire and confirm. I wasn't happy because I expected new teachers to come on board and help us as some of us are the only ones teaching our subjects in some schools.

How many times does NVC as for documents?
After my application was accepted by USCIS,it was sent to NVC and a profile was opened with a code(numbers) that I can use to monitor my application.

It is really well with us in this perilous time. Wike really mess us up with this non promotion and non implementation of minimum wage of 30k. Right now how salary is like 30k in value compare to 2013 when we started this job.

What are the other options this country has? Government can’t run any business. All their refineries keep swallowing money & is useless.

Subsidy is a pit that also swallows money wt no benefit for expansion. Subsidy is gone. The goal is increasing states revenue generation and providing a living minimum wage.

Politicians can not use the poor citizens as sacrificial lambs let the minimum wage come first. Some state government are yet to pay the 30k minimum wage.
