Fadomero: All this fake pastors should learn from this good man not only buying rubbish private jet that your members can not enter nice one biko They may be fake, but is this their job? By doing the work of the government, what is the government doing with the funds for education? Lavishing it, while people complain about pastors and expect churches to give them everything. Nigerians need to get their priorities straight. What happened to all the money collected by mosques and other bodies? Where's your tax going? This is not the work of the church to build hospitals and schools, it is for your government to do. People don't want to pay tithes but they expect this, too. |

Pavore9: And when that child becomes an adult, will the child owe the man honor and love or will he loathe the man? Man will one day return to claim son he never cared for. Worse still, son will begin to look for him and sympathize with him because he wants his love, not knowing he was mistreated as a child. |
Romance › Re: My Sister Is About To Marry An Osu Man, About To Commit A Serious Taboo by Tellemall: 3:02pm On Nov 24, 2019 |
Mindfulness: Look who is talking about stigma. So you have no problem a group of people is stigmatized (osu) as long as it is not your family? See see .. Are you looking at it sentimentally or based on facts? I don't understand your caste systems, but with the facts outlined here and from a previous thread, I can tell that there's no point in marrying such a person, whether you have billions or not, because the stigma will go onto unwilling family members who were born "free". Why subject them to that if not for selfish "love"? |
Health › Re: Does Surgery Affect The Soul/mind? by Tellemall: 11:58am On Nov 24, 2019 |
Originalsly: Was surgery to remove a piece of tissue in the eye that was there since I ran into a table when I was 4/5 years old and suffered blunt trauma to the eye. It was in there for yearssssss and eventually floated around to the front of the eye and blocked the opening... blinded in a short time. To remove the tissue..... they had to get into the eye and the natural lens had to be taken out. That cannot be reused so it was replaced with an artificial one. So is it because the eye an organ was breached?/because the lens was taken out?/both? It's been 2 years now and the feeling of.emptiness is no longer there. I would expect you to be happy to remove it! Maybe it's because it's been a part of your life so long, you begin to live life like it was always there. Then when it's gone, it's like losing a vital part of yourself. An interesting observation, though. |

midnighter: It's the man who was supposed to let her know after like 3 years. Then she could decide if she still wants.
She's now thinking of her age, if she had known initially she would have dumped him which is what the guy was afraid of.
She also should have though of it sha. Why should anyone court with the intent of marriage for 3 years? Is that still a relationship or a waste of time and a show of indecision and disinterest? |
Romance › Re: My Sister Is About To Marry An Osu Man, About To Commit A Serious Taboo by Tellemall: 11:07am On Nov 24, 2019 |
midnighter: Exactly. That's the other side of it. But she couldn't have known it would come to this and it's been 7 years already
It's actually the guy that was supposed to tell her he was an osu once he realised it was getting serious but he would be worried that it would scare her away.
He is at fault for withholding important information People don't seem to understand it. They're just using sentiment to judge the matter. The guy hid this issue from her. I'm surprised they dated for 7 entire years and she knew next to nothing about it. This is why courting shouldn't take forever. In a year know what you need to know. Why drag it on for ages? Years in a fruitless pursuit, and now she's just doing it because she's wasted years and isn't getting younger. |

Mindfulness: Your sister is a hero. She has my blessings too. You people should try and live in the 21st century. Kuddos to your dad as well. He mentioned that the stigma will extend to him. So because of her love choices, he and the rest of the family should be branded as outcasts, too? People need to think of the extent of their choices. It's like choosing to marry a person with a contagious incurable disease, will that be a perfect option for a person who wants lifelong partnership? If not, find someone else. Same with this tradition. Why bring stigma to your whole family, why not adjust? If people adhere so strongly to such a tradition, what sort of life does she want to give her family because of her selfish choices? Everyone giving congratulations isn't really thinking about the ripple effect, just momentary gratification. Can they live with the ostracization? |

Christianity Etc › Re: Why Jehovah's Witnesses Are The Most United And Peaceful Religion In The World by Tellemall: 9:30am On Nov 24, 2019 |
supercase1: *PEACEFUL GROUP: witnesses are always law abiding u don't see them fight, riot, steal or perpetuate social disorder unlike some religious groups in our country whose trademarks are violence and interrifts
*NO RACISM AMONG THEM: JW are found in over 276 countries, witnesses are the only true people with a true sense of global unity, a witness from Russia would readily host a witness from Mali just as he would do to his blood brother, or a white witness member would host a black witness member just as a United family. There is no form of racism or tribal discriminations among witnesses
PREACHING THE GOSPEL: witnesses are always active preaching the gospel about God kingdom as Jesus always preached while he was on earth, unlike most religious leaders today that preach about prosperity and money forgetting the main mission giving by Jesus which states AND THE GOOD NEWS OF THE KINGDOM WOULD BE PREACHED TO ALL INHABITANTS OF THE EARTH, AND THEN THE END WILL COME
You see, witnesses are the only Christian group doing Jesus and God will on earth Maybe because they're the only ones who care to live the kingdom of God on Earth in preparation for its full actualization. I love JWs. If I were to belong to any sect of Christianity, it would be theirs. Talk about sound Christian living! |

Originalsly: I thought it was me only... until I spoke with a few people who said after surgery they feel sad/depressed at times.... never felt as peaceful as before the surgery... feel like something was taken away from them... a sort of emptiness inside....the kind of feeling you get when someone close to you dies. If you had a surgery... do you feel the same?...has anything changed for you?...or somebody you know? My surgery was minor eye surgery due to trauma... a few minutes surgery that resulted in my lens being removed and replaced . Being wounded... didn't carry this 'something missing' feelings.... so why is this kind feeling attached to surgery or is it really if a part of the inside is taken away? Share your experience /thoughts. Was it surgery to mend something or surgery to remove it? |
Education › Re: Python Attempted To Strangle OOU Agricultural Student, She Gets Hospitalized by Tellemall: 6:06am On Nov 24, 2019 |
Originalsly: Someone had sent me a video of some guys capturing a python in a concrete gutter.... hauling it out... then cutting it open. The body of a woman was inside. Would such a snake attack and swallow a human?.... not likely. But be drunk and laying around in the path of a hunting snake... that's a different story. On the power of a constrictor snake that size... you are assuming. They are all powerful... just that the anaconda has awesome power ... and at a mere 6 feet long.... its power is already too much for a human to withstand.....that I know first hand. Some people have never carried a live snake, so they don't know just how much strength they have. You and I have muscles we never use, but a snake is entirely muscles that are always in use; that's how it is able to move. When it has no intent to constrict, it does nothing. But when it has a purpose to strike you will feel it suddenly strong regardless of its size. And if you are alone at that time... Well, good luck. |

charliboy654: Try to compare the punishment, no one said babcock should pamper the girl but dont u think expelling her at 300 level is too harsh. Like this goalie was just suspended for one week, he's not even their first choice goalie. If the club wanted to punish him they could have sack him. Did they read the admission fine print before engaging in videoed activities in the University hospital? When they signed to accept the admission, did they read the student handbook? Or will they now use the "everyone did this"(lie, by the way) card? Their admission is subject to the authority of the body they belong to. How the body deems it necessary to deal with them is the body's right. Harsh or not harsh isn't what they signed up for. |

You think they are as many as the expatriates in Nigeria companies are? I understand that they are as unemployed as Nigerians, yet disregard their local content laws and focus on the foreigners.
