Based on your first response, you have not understood anything. You simply want to bash churches, and I'm telling you that you're bashing them for things that don't even concern them, but rather your government.

If churches are lavishing money, so are your politicians. And your politicians are the ones who owe hungry people food and schools. That is their mandate.

But why are you conferring the responsibilities of your government on the church? The church didn't issue your passport. They are not responsible for building roads and schools for you. It is governments that do that. Hold your government responsible.

Hahaha, I understand how you feel but what should we expect from a pastor that can be tied to fake miracles like "changing SS genotype to AA genotype" and "raising the dead". Also if you know how much these churches make per annum from tithes and offering you will know that opening free schools can't claim up to 0.001% of their annual revenue. So I see these charities as a cheap advert strategy. Still commendable though at least if all churches can follow suit it would mean a lot.

But your government collects taxes, handled repatriated abacha loot and recovered funds of crime, why is it that you don't hold them responsible for national development? Why do you think the church should do such things the government isn't trying to do? It's not the churchs obligation. Your government are the ones who are mandated to do such things for you. You people hate religion so much but look up to Christians and churches to do everything for you, rather than holding your leaders responsible.

They may be fake, but is this their job? By doing the work of the government, what is the government doing with the funds for education? Lavishing it, while people complain about pastors and expect churches to give them everything. Nigerians need to get their priorities straight. What happened to all the money collected by mosques and other bodies? Where's your tax going? This is not the work of the church to build hospitals and schools, it is for your government to do. People don't want to pay tithes but they expect this, too.

It was in there for yearssssss and eventually floated around to the front of the eye and blocked the opening... blinded in a short time.
