AjanleKoko: There are lots of books. I don't know what people are reading these days, but I started from Horowitz and Hill's The Art Of Electronics.
It's a good, practical-oriented book.

My advice is, learn all you can about UPS and AVR, they are also a part of power electronics. Then go back to school,get good texts on power electronics and read.

ok sir..thanks very much sir.. but pls sir, wat books will u recommend.. although ma boss in d office say i will nt b able to troubleshoot UPS boards in 6 mnths. wat professional courses do u recommend for me..thanks again
