NoContract: You're a budding polithiefian

The sad truth is, if you decide to contest for the presidency, these dolts will still vote for you. Just proclaim you will add 1K to the NYSC allowance, share bags of rice [or add Beans for additional beauty and packaging] or come up with a #Vision2017Tempest.

Now isn't that just beautiful?
Lol...dude I'm a struggling unemployed fellow trying to start up my own venture....what ever gave you the picture of a "polithiefcian"? My display picture? grin.

Truth is the system has been rotting away for years. I see a spirited attempt to steer the ship to the right path.

I don't involve in politics because my vote doesn't count. Even if it should have counted, other votes that should have counted along are simply bought . I just analysed the trend based on the past, present and future.

This is why I say it was pertinent for the pdp to do away with past bad eggs if the country has to move forward. Apc should relegate such people to the background or they willbe a mock opposition party

Fourwinds: our policemen are not ripe to mount road blocks now. can u see d robbery cases on highway has reduce without d road blocks. let it remain as it is until dey are matured enough to handle. so inner cities conduct should be d first test for dem.
You think the reduction in robbery case is as a result of no more road blocks? I think it's because some of the hotspots of robberies used to be very bad parts of the road, but now that had changed in some places.

We are ready for it. It just calls for a visionary force head....would you have believed that they could stop road blocks in Nigeria if you were told years before?

Fourwinds: can u hear urself? dat we should go back to road block.
Can't you see the part where I said there should be professionalism?

Was in Accra and the way the police behaved there, I wept for my country. On every road there was police posts. And the road blocks were done professionally without any disruption in traffic.

Our own policemen are on the highway to extort money for things like fire extinguisher and insurance.

You don't cut off the head because of an headache, you treat the headache....go back and read my post and the suggestion on how to go about it
Nairaland GeneralRe: Ebola: China Quarantines Nigerian Athletes At Youth Olympics by tempest01(m): 9:41pm On Aug 13, 2014
They shouldn't do anything that can cause a diplomatic row.....if there are no signs of symptoms, then no need to stigmatize.

We do our country bad by painting ourselves as one of the deadliest carriers of Ebola. All these bloggers and traffic seekers are doing the country more harm than good.

You don't wash your dirty linen outside

We should go back to when there were road blocks. But discipline should be instilled in the force. They should not be mandated to check particulars because that's what brings corruption. If they check licence check car registration and correspond it to the driver, then check occupants, then there is no more reason to hold back a driver

Kachisbarbie: Heyaaa, and their school uniform is fine o..but where you hustle this kind pic come from?

I don't think being intelligent is totally a function of the amenities, though it's very important...

During my service year in AKS, the students i taught had really good environment and all that, but I couldn't lay my hand on what was their problem...

-very unserious and dull set.
-some of them couldn't even wait for school to close, so they can go and sell in the market. The school dismisses by 2pm, by 1pm they are already lurking around the gate.

It wasn't easy grooming a few, @least to show the Ministry of Edu and Sec Sch Edu board as @when due that am doing something.
AKS thats my state....you should thank God you didnt have the kind of students i had in Nasarawa state. A-Z was like rocket science in ss1.

Unrelated: Damn girl u fyn. Where in AKS did you serve?

Congrats to the successful ones, the next stage is going to be the toughest as i believe its the "best of the best" that will be there and bowing out when you are closest to the prize is something to shrug off. Do your best, practice hard and you'll make it there. Godspeed. I take a bow.
