Oh I'm talking about study permit application o.

Please this is URGENT:
Please my friend who applied to Conestoga College May intake didn't receive application decision on time after 2 months of submission. She finally decided to defer till Fall intake. Unfortunately the PPR came a day after she had deferred. She has been trying to reach the school to tell them to cancel the deferral so that she can resume ASAP but the school hasn't replied her emails and when she tried calling it was entering voicemail.
Is there a contact phone number she can call? Her campus is Kitchener.
What acceptance letter did your friend submit if she didn't receive application decision on time?

It’s been months here, you are right about PR holders struggling from beginning but their struggle is not the same with students. It’s harder for students . A Neighbor of mine who is a PR holder from Poland is doing menial jobs here and he is a licensed doctor from Poland. But the thing is, where he works is 3 hours away from home, using TTC , he could easily ge a car and go to work because he is not studying. Imagine if a student is going to a workplace 3 hours away every, how long can such student keep such job. Even the PR holder is also complaining because he can’t even save anything from is 3200cad a month job after paying all bills and car insurance.on the outside looking in, people won’t know how this place is until they come in! It is Better that nigeria in anything no doubt but it is way below many expectations !
It's not easy.
Just be encouraged with the fact that hard times don't last forever.

What about the possibility of getting a car and using it for uber. That way you won't need to commute 3hrs to go to work

I understand your points, it’s important for people to manage expectations. But you would be fine, it’s usually like that at the begining, you are only there for couple of weeks now, by the time you settled fully you would look back and laugh. Many PR holders struggle at the beginning too. GTA is an expensive place to stay
Couple of weeks?
Judging from previous posts, he's been there since January

shift abeg. Did you see where I said he borrowed money or you’re the one purposely saying that. Everyone knows Ontario and BC is expensive that’s why you need to plan as you’ll be relying on your naira. Someone is to resume school on September, he has booked his flight for July how move dumb is that and I’m not referring to the OP but other people that’d want to move like that.
Lol. You're really new on nairaland.

when they told you people to go in with enough money una gree here ? After you done go borrow money for proof of funds and all now you’re saying jo job. You fit wait 6 month make job sef no show. That’s why it’s advisable to go in with enough money. Create a linkden profile also talk to the Indians there, them Dey get connect.
Why are you jumping into conclusion that he borrowed money?

A couple of months ago on this very thread people raised the point that even with enough naira, living in cities such as Toronto and Vancouver is very expensive. Coupled with the fact that getting jobs in those cities can be challenging for first timers.

People are struggling to come here praying everyday when me and some friends are going through hell on earth here in canada. No job everything is also very expensive. Spending lots of cash we came with from naija

Except you are financially okay and come from a rich home. I advice anyone who want to come here to come in with PR. If you are struggling do not bother coming here with. Student visa because it’s hard here.
Omo.
Please provide more insight.
Your province and city?
How much money do you need to have to be financially ok ?

Can you pls put me through on how I can pay through black market rate?
I already downloaded payment voucher and code from flywire but zenith bank says they don't know about it.
You have two options of paying via black market rate.
1. On the flywire website, you can choose to pay in Naira. It will convert the fees to naira equivalent and it will provide you with a naira account to make payment

2. On the flywire website, choose to make payment via dollar card. But before that, ensure you have a sufficiently funded domiciliary account and a dollar card attached to the account. To fund the account, source for dollars from aboki and pay it into the account

Hello beautiful people,

Yesterday, VFS Abuja rejected my brother’s passport package couriered to them through DHL. Reason they gave was that the delivery was NOT made at an appropriate time. This was 10am in the morning.

Has anyone experienced this? What would be the appropriate time for DHL to retry delivery??

It’s strange though for them to reject delivery at 10am in the morning.

TIA
This doesn't seem to make sense. Why don't you call their helpline

Both activities would take place in the same city that is different from mine. It's 7hrs train from my province to the province by fast train. It's not possible to go in different days. It is not economical at all. Aside that one may not meet up because of the time, is there any other implication?
Nope, there's no other implication
