My question is, I hope this can't cause any issue. Secondly, after the medical, should I wait until the IRCC requests for it and then message the clinic to send the medical or I should send it to them through the web-form?

Why would you fix it the same day?
What happened to fixing them on different days?

Well after the medicals IOM will send you the result and IRCC as well. However, you should still update IRCC via webform

Yes, I've gotten my study permit.

I explained how my interest in the graduate certificate course had developed since childhood.
During my bachelor's degree, I took out time learning a bit about the program. Also, after my master's program, I took some online courses relating to the program (I had Udemy certificates to back up my claim).

Also, my current line of work aligns with my choice of course. So I noted how the post graduate certificate will help me get better at my job.

Resumption is Sept 2023 and I want to make full first year tuition and submit receipt of payment with my application this month. Please, will it not be too late because I was thinking of submitting my application once I finish my medicals on the 17th of this month.

2. The letter states that I pay my first semester fee 9,000+ before 25th of may through flywire.
I read that flywire rate is high, pls how do I go about it.

It is still valid. Although some banks have an option of E- signed SOA. I paid a token of 20 naira to get an e-signed SOA from Access bank. Check your bank app very well maybe they also have that option but even if they don't have no problem. I've used unsigned digital copies at many embassies before and it has never been an issue. Yeah, my wema bank has the option to e-signed soa but the other banks I used didn't.
I'm only trying to correct the idea that soa must be signed else they won't be attended to by IRCC

Ordinarily, other banks will just generate an MBS code for you which you will send in your application, but I am not sure Union Bank has that facility. That is my dilemma.

I have a question about visa application, especially for freelancers.
So, I'm a freelancer. That means I work remotely and earn in USD. I plan to self sponsor (even though I have about 1m gift from my cousin that I want to create a deed of gift for). I've been saving some money in cash over a couple of years which I plan to convert and pay in as a bulk sum into my naira account. Is it advisable to pay it in once or break it into smaller amounts? Also, do you think that I should find a way to pay tax on those monies? I've been checking online to see if freelancers should pay income tax on their earnings in Nigeria before applying for visa, and if their application can be rejected because they didn't pay tax, but I haven't seen any information on that yet.

As for converting the money and paying into your account, if the money is currently in your domiciliary account, you should use that instead

I think May 1st is quite early for him.

Because apart from getting PPR, before he'll get his stamped passport back from VFS, May 1st will definitely have passed.

I think he can send a mail to his school explaining his situation. Some schools might allow for a couple of weeks late arrival.

If he's certain to leave in May, I'll advice he books his flight using Lufthansa (Abuja to Canada). Use the mobile app or website

Use the copy generated by your bank app or ask them to send you a digital copy.

Be sure to unlock it using tools like small pdf for easy access

Yes. I used Stanbic IBTC mutual fund as part of my proof of funds.

However, I included both the account statement and reference letter.

I also stated in my sop that I have access to the funds there anytime.

Finally, I withdrew my one year tuition out of the mutual fund to my bank account and left only the living expenses (I did this to prove I had access to the money. I can't say for certain if it's compulsory).

I got the above email from VFS this morning. Then I chatted them to confirm which courier company they use and the confirmed it's UPS. But they didn't give me the tracking number and I didn't get any update from UPS either.

Pls has anyone experienced this before? Meanwhile I sent my passport from Lagos to Abuja and I paid for VFS 1 way courier (for them to send it back to me directly).

Or do have to wait for 24hrs before I will get update from UPS?

Good day everyone, is anyone aware how best to reach IOM Lagos? Medical done since April 12, no result sent to IRCC. Deadline on the letter was April 23 and online GC key account shows results of medical not received. I’ve sent emails to the IOM booking email and also filled contact form on their website - No response and all calls to their phone were not answered. In the emails, I had even requested they send the emedical form to send through IRCC webform, still no response.

I don’t want to assume that this is because of the strike Cos medical was done one week plus before the strike even started.

I’d appreciate you advise everyone😢

Why don't you send a webform to IRCC Nairobi attaching the medical Information sheet
