The entire Qur'an was not compiled into a single book during the lifetime of Prophet Muhammad (pbuh).

When these things were written were the recorders writing and memorizing other than the recitation; the Quran? Were these not written in small bits and collections from bone pieces, animal skin, tree barks etc.?
