Van gaal isn't doing better than moyes at this stage of the season and that's a fact that can be backed by our league position. We have more injuries and he has bn a bit partial in his team selection yet he hasn't bn criticized nearly as DM.

IMO this is beccause with VG you can see signs of progress and improvements in the team's approach but with Moyes it felt like the team was sinking. Also, due to our demise last year, expectations aren't very high. But with moyes, he inherited a team that jus won the league

As far as d power sector is concerned, GEJ has FAILED woefully, jst like his predecessors. Dat's why recently, i no longer listen to any govt promise of improving d power sector.

afrodoc: if it is true then that is great news. Nani seems to have lost all the confidence he ever had,and we need al the help we can get in defense.

afrodoc: Di Maria is pretty expensive and PSG were in poll position to sign him until recently. The major problem with our deals appears to be Woodward.....he is as clueless in transfer deals as he is accomplished in sponsorship deals. There is something amateurish about the way we have gone about our deals. Lets hope the Manchester United brand and Van Gaal's reputation bridges the gap

* This is the kind of argument that flaws the laid down criteria of determine players performance on this thread. Scholes is a greater midfielder than Lampard. However, based on stat, Scholes lost to Lampard. From Coogar's stat, it obvious Lampard had more assists from open play. I was shocked to see Scholes having more assists from set play.
* Another reason relying on goals and assist stat is flawed- Xavi's stats.

* There is a debate going on. Xavi is said to be the greatest midfielder ever. On trophies, yes. On goals, assists, chances created- mba.
