Shirley07: No one said playmakers are not creative. What I said is playmaking and creativity are two different things.
Creating chances is not the primary work of a playmaker. His primary duty is to dictate the play, create space with his intelligent movement and awarenenes; attack the space with his passes and switch play with his long passes. Creating chances is just an added bonus. So his primary duty is to pass, pass and pass without being crreative? So what makes their passes different from other players` passes on the field of play? |

There is nothing that we won`t read on this thread. How will a PLAYMAKER not be CREATIVE? How on earth will a person who makes so many passes and killer passes will not be creative? Making those rare and defence spliting passes make them creative. |

LVG should be starting Falcao since he said he is fit to start today instead of starting Wilson. Falcao needs a run of games to get to the rythm of the league. |

elampiro: Former Manchester United assistant claims injuries are the club’s fault Kyle Bonn Dec 9, 2014, 3:10 PM EST
Formerly serving as Sir Alex Ferguson’s second-in-command, Mike Phelan (pictured, left) is hitting back at his old club.
Manchester United is suffocating under a severe wave of injuries, with seven players currently on the shelf and most places reporting 43 individual injuries suffered this season.
And not everyone is willing to buy that it’s a fluke.
“What’s happened is a continuation of the same players getting injured all the time, so you have to look to the reasons why,” said Phelan, now a top assistant at Norwich City in the Championship. “I think Manchester United changed their thoughts on the fitness regime, they looked at it a little bit differently.
Phelan believes the personnel who were in place during his time at Old Trafford were the right men for the job, but things are different now.
“Tony Strudwick, who was operating as head of sports science, was involved day to day with the first-team. He understood the ins and outs of how to keep players fit, how to keep them ready for competition. Then suddenly they moved him sideways and did something completely different. That may have had an effect. That one area has changed.”
Strudwick was the head of fitness at Manchester United since 2007, all the way until after the World Cup this summer when Louis van Gaal appointed him “head of athletic development” and now oversees mostly youth training and fitness. Van Gaal brought in fellow Dutchman Jos van Dijk to succeed Strudwick at his former position.
“They’ve brought in new people with a different way of doing things. The intensity of training may be one thing – it may be too intense, or not intense enough – but obviously slight changes have been made with the present way of doing things.”
Chris Smalling was the most recent player to suffer a concern, going off in the 18th minute of their close 2-1 win over Southampton this past weekend, replaced by Jonny Evans who himself was just returning from an injury problem that has kept him out most of the season.
And Phelan isn’t convinced that the club did enough to strengthen the team during the summer to prevent this kind of thing from happening, instead focusing on big-money buys.
“I would have thought [the squad] is big enough at Manchester United, because they can go out and get players in, but obviously they keep breaking down and they don’t seem to be getting any better. They seem to get one back and lose another two.”
The injuries have forced a number of young products into duty a little earlier than the Red Devils would probably have liked, including defenders Paddy McNair and Tyler Blackett. While Blackett has impressed a couple of times, McNair was withdrawn minutes before halftime on a puzzling tactical change that Louis van Gaal said was caused by a lack of confidence by McNair.
It’s gotten so bad that Evans, following the win over Southampton said bench players are “expecting someone to get injured.” That’s no bueno. http://prosoccertalk.nbcsports.com/2014/12/09/former-manchester-united-assistant-claims-injuries-are-van-gaals-fault/?ocid=Yahoo&partner=ya5nbcs Is he trying to tell us that there were no injury crises during his time? |

Produce Copies of the Cloned Cards, APC to DSS
Press Release - The Lagos State chapter of the All Progressives Congress has challenged the Directorate of State Security to produce and show Nigerians the copies of the cards it claimed that APC is cloning in its Data Office in Lagos.
The party said that while this has become to deflate the satanic inclination of the DSS to employ state public offices to further the evil plots of the PDP and egregiously lie about it.
In a release in Lagos, signed by the Lagos State Publicity Secretary of the APC, Joe Igbokwe, the party said that the present leadership of the DSS has turned what should be a viable state security outfit to an attack dog willing and ever ready to do the dirty biddings of the PDP. It said that the party is ready to take up the DSS on its many lies and partisan
“We note that the DSS has been very prominent in the prosecution of PDP’s dirty electoral tasks in both Ekiti and Osun State. The clearly partisan and outlandish statement of its spokesperson, Marylyn, who shamelessly purveys PDP dirty propaganda, immediately after the Osun election leaves Nigerians in no doubt about the obnoxious role the DSS has been made to assume as the desperation of the PDP to remain in power thickens.
We note that the DSS was equally prominent in the illegal and criminal invasion of the National Assembly last week for the sole purpose of enforcing the illegal and clearly self-serving agenda of the PDP and the presidency.
“It is only natural that this shameful affront on the country’s legislature was quickly followed by an atrocious invasion of the APC Data Center in Lagos clearly on the instigation of the PDP and for no clear and concise reason than that PDP’s desire to sow fear and intimidation on the opposition.
The laughable explanation of the DSS spokesperson that the Center was being used to clone permanent voters card is not only cheap but only confirms the hatchet role the DSS has assumed on PDP’s dirty ways to retain power at all costs, even with Nigerians clearly fed up with its misrule.
We believe that such allegation must be followed up with hard facts and which hard facts could be more convincing than the DSS presenting to Nigerians copies of the cloned cards, directly linked to the APC data. What stops the DSS from immediately availing Nigerians of the cloned cards that supposedly informed its evil attack on the opposition during its press conference?
We hereby demand that the DSS present the copies of the cards it was able to impound during its insidious raid to Nigerians so as to justify what is clearly a scandalous political attack by an increasingly desperate and unsettled party and presidency on the opposition. It is certain that the DSS must have started manufacturing its ‘evidences’ after it had gone to town with its smear antic but we assure them that they will fail in this evil mission for the PDP.
“For the avoidance of doubt, the APC Data Center is a legitimate operation by a legitimate Nigerian political party responsible for the digitalization of the membership of the APC and had carried out its lawful operations in adherence to the laws of the country.............. For God sake, what is the DSS waiting for if they really saw any cloned PVC? http://www.elombah.com/index.php/articles-mainmenu/27688-produce-copies-of-the-cloned-cards-apc-to-dss |

Dmacaw: Am shocked at the number of morons we have in this country judging from the numbers of likes your post got. You made mention of few notable muslim clerics killed by Boko Haram for speaking against them. In other words there are more muslim clerics supporting this fucktards secretly. Don't you think success would be achieved more if according to CAN president if they all come together and speak with one voice? BH has said repeatedly there mission is to islamize Nigeria and majority of the towns they seized are Christian communities, Mubi, Chibok etc infact a pastor in Mubi confirmed that over 90 churches were burnt down during the attack, the kidnapped chibok Christian girls have been forcefully converted into Islam who is fooling who? BH are been accommodated in the North East by many who believe in their ideology that is why they still persist. You mentioned terrorist groups which were defeated by military might's but i beg your pardon the Taliban and AlQueda group are far from been defeated the US had to flee when it was obvious the people are collaborating with terrorists. ISIL is still waxing strong and more territories are been conquered despite the US led coalition force. The ETA in France and Spain, Columbian FARC were not driven by religious ideologies. The only reason people don't like Ayo Oritsejafor is because he doesn't mice words he says the truth even in the face of adversity no wonder the NSA and co tried smearing his name but God will always vindicate his own God bless Oritsejafor and keep him. By your logic, any pastor that did not come out to condemn what BH are doing is also supporting them. Anybody Muslim that supports them is not a Muslim. There is no compulsion in Islam. Qur`an also abhors killing of innocent people. Was that not what the clerics were preaching against before they were killed by BH? No Islamic cleric supports what they are doing. Saudis also condem their activities. Why will you now be assuming that some Muslim clerics are supporting them simply because all the Clerics condemnation were not published. |

Mogidi: Half of those spewing rubbish here either have comprehension problem or are boko haram sympathisers. What is wrong in telling muslims to use superior quranic verses to defeat a muslim terrorist organisation who uses verses from the quran to justify their actions?
Is Pastor Ayo not from the Niger Delta and wasn't he one of the people that cajoled, begged and negotiated the cease fire between the fed and the delta militants?
At the beginning the Imams and political heavyweights from the north saw boko haram as freedom fighters, fighting for the good of Islam. It was ok when bokoharam were targeting churches, schools and any symbol of Christianity. Now the hydra monster they created is beyond control and its now killing muslims who don't agree with their interpretation of the Quran. Boko haram are an Islamic terrorist organisation, they would stop when muslims stop aiding and abetting them. Could you please bring out a quote or link where at the beggining "Imams" from the North saw Boko Haram as freedom fighters fighting for the good of Islam. You don`t just come here and make blanket statement with no proof. No Imam was in support of their activities right from the beginning. |

MicSmith: Van gaal isn't doing better than moyes at this stage of the season and that's a fact that can be backed by our league position. We have more injuries and he has bn a bit partial in his team selection yet he hasn't bn criticized nearly as DM.
IMO this is beccause with VG you can see signs of progress and improvements in the team's approach but with Moyes it felt like the team was sinking. Also, due to our demise last year, expectations aren't very high. But with moyes, he inherited a team that jus won the league The problem i had with DM last season was that our football wasn't attacking minded and we weren't playing well. Whenever we were leading by a goal margin, DM will want to defend that one goal lead but will eventually lose the lead and lose the match. There was no direction at all in the team and we weren't playing entertaining football like we are right now. By so doing he killed the fear factor in the team. If it were DM on Sunday, he will be looking for damage limitation and by so doing we would have lost that match scandalously. I couldn't believe that United's ten men were the ones pressing City's eleven men that at a point the commentator asked a question that "Who is having a man advantage?" In spite of the results we are getting now under LVG, we are seeing good signs of improvement in the team. Our football is more entertaining now. We only need to sort out our defense. Most of our defenders are injury prone. I also think some psychologist or whoever needs to sit down Jones and let him know that defending is not all about aggressiveness and power. I think they did that to Rooney sometimes in the past when he broke his metatarsal twice. |

Injuries is the main problem we are having this season. Read that we've had 35 different injuries since the beginning of this season. That's an average of almost four injuries per week. And to think that we have not even played one third of the league season is most worrisome. |
