It could be traumatic or a lesson. Anyone! |

I was about to eat my fifth spoon (lol) when a pregnant woman approach me directly into my shop without even greeting me. She just went to my bowl of garri, WAM WAM! inside her mouth. Ah ah (i exclaimed silently). She even still complained of the garri not sour enough. She told me to sell 1 mudu of honey beans for her, that she wants to go and buy bread in a nearby shop. And that she was coming back to pick the beans. I waited till evening, the pregnant woman was missing. She never returned to pick her already packaged beans. (mehn i was so dissapointed) The next day she passed near my shop, i stopped her and greeted. You need to see how she reacted. Then i told her that why didnt she come and pick the beans she already priced? Come and see saliva on my face! She began to shout at me and said she later lost her appetite for beans nd decided to go for spag. Are u d one to tell me what to eat? Madam, na me give u belle? |

#tipstostayhealthyeveryday# Every morning when you wake up. After drinking your water to flush potential diseases in your body system. Always remember to hold your breathe for 15seconds for a health stabled person. But for a health complicated person like an asmatic patient, try holding your breathe for like 8seconds daily. Benefits; * It increases the flow of blood from the heart to the whole body. Which makes such body to stay very active and strong. * It reduces the risk of cardiac arrest and heart attack even stroke plus blood pressure * It also cools the body system. Whereby it manages mental complications like depression, stigma and trauma. It helps to think for solutions rather getting down and terrified. Thanks for your time! |
I had a brief arguement with a lady. Although, i had my fault and accepted it. Then she began to insult me and said abusive and offensive words to me. I got angry and began to give her same replies. She said "am i mad?, am i crazy? I dont like corrections? In yoruba. Then i angrily said i'hv heard! That is enough. Before i knew it she got close to me and gave me a irritating slap PHAW!! I was like what! I wanted to do something crazy, but my mind told me those things; Her boyfriend was there She is a woman, and i could injure her I would have faults in two ways I wasnt trained to beat a woman She is a bit older than me I just gave her warnings that in her entire life, she should never try that rubbish with me again. And i departed angrily. In your mind what am i suppose to do to the lady? |
This naija economy must have taught alot of Nigerians things they dont do before. As for me, this current harsh economy has taught me how to make my amala from yam peels. Before when i pound my yam finish, i used to throw the peels away for goats to eat. But now, i take a big tray and spread my yam peels on it for the sun to dry. Although my amala is blacker than tyres. But at least i'm always sastified after eating. As for you, what has this current harsh economy taught you? Like things you didnt discover before? |
The african culture is majorly based on un-necessary policies. From superstitions to tribal marks. Therefore generations to come would find some cultures very difficult. 1 Greetings: as a yoruba boy it looks very embarassing to postrate in public for elders. With my designer cloth. Probably not pride 2 Respect: new generations would find it difficult to respect my generation 3 Decent dress: in-decency is the trend of the day. Next generation would walk naked on streets 3 Table manners: aside from talking why eating. In most decent homes eating swallow must start from eating it my its side. If you eat on top of a swallow food, they see you as a dog 4 Honesty/ Hardwork 5 pointing fingers at an elderly person 6 Neatness 7 Bowing your head when an elderly person is correcting you 8 Prayer before eating 9 Virginity 10 Tribal marks 11 Hatred for native languages etc |
(sign) It takes the grace of God to be firm for good 19 years. okay. Nairaland is one of the earliest social media or blog to be existing during the early 2000s. Actually, i was in primary five when nairaland was invented. I'hv never heard of facebook until i was 13. Therefore nairaland is older than the social media giants(facebook, instagram, tiktok whatsapp etc). And these social media are improving every day. But in nairaland, i cant chat my fellow nairalander privately but to email the user. How many people are using emails? Are we moving forward? What are we still waiting for? This is a concerned user question. I need answers! |

No need for biased comments. We just wanna calculate the statistics of the gender more responsible for heartbreaks in romantic relationships especially marriages. As in the cheater. Which gender? |
My brother just recovered himself from the hands of malaria previously. He was admitted to a nearby clinic. In the cause, my sister suggested we should have a private doctor as in family doctor. To reduce the cost of admitting ourselves to general care for minor sickness. I think having a family doctor would be fairly costly. Is this necessary? What are the benefits of having a family doctor? |
I'hv come across hundreds of posts, topics, threads, FP and mentions with the use of these words; SIMP REDPILLAR I dont really understand, still trying to understand redpillar a bit. NL veterans, what is the meaning of these adjectives? |

Fashions these days sef is going extra-ordinary. In those days crazy things were forbidden by our parents. But now it seems those parents now are adapting to the prime of life. #babe told me she wants to upgrade her fashion. In what way? I asked! I want to pierce my nose with earrings and look more beautiful for you! (She replied). I'm okay with you, no need for upgrading! (I replied) #previously on this same issue. Loml i want to change my looks this month! How?(i asked) I already told you before now i want to pierce my....... Huhmhuhm huhm (i interrupted) I said i'm okay with your looks, okay wait does your mom know anything about this decision you want to make?(i asked) yes of course!(she replied) Then i was thinking of what to say then i got an idea! See i dont think i would support that. Because in the 19s the only people who pierced their nose and ears with several earrings were slaves and servants of colonial masters and people of high ranking then. In order to recgonize their slaves. Pheww! (relief) |
Is sex before marriage a sin? Because Adam and Eve didnt marry and they had sexual intercourse with each other. And God didnt forsake them because of that. So what is really the superstitic idealogy of sex before marriage as a sin? Do you think it is actually a sin? Marriage experts and geniuses |
An african defination of maturity is mostly by age. And that defination is really affecting our social and cordial relationship we have with people. Some adults has all it takes as in (experience in life) but they dont know how to manage it. Maturity is physcological and mental state of an individual in which the person is enabled to manage crises and situations through his/her experience in life. I can tell you that some youths are far better mature than some so called adults. If you see the type of secrets we youths keep these days mtcheww! And no fucking person will know about it. For example, why do you think some children dont tell their parents their life secret but prefer to tell their friends. Because what? Because if they tell their parents, their parents will use it against them when they offend them next time. So if you are in the category of people who think maturity is by age. YOU ARE WRONG! Maturity is a gift. Not everybody will have it. |
For instance, i repeat for instance. If my Fiancee's elder sister who is about to get married sooner. So on the day of the wedding. She (my fiancee) invites me for breakfast with her family members very early in the morning like 5am. And that would be my first time coming to their house for breakfast. You know i must respect myself as an upcoming in-law. What should i do? Should i disappoint my fiancee and reject her offer? Or i should go there and disgrace myself because i'm an introvert? |
I'm a retailer of foodstuffs which is a combination of raw foods and manufactured products. But due to this harsh economy, some of my regular customers are already misusing the opportunity of paying back later. Some of them even goes to extence of lieing they'hv forgotten they were oweing me. And you know that if i dont sell those products regularly especially raw foods, i will be at lost. Because i will sell it cheaper to people not knowing it as already increase in price at the market. What do i do? How do i discourage debtors from coming near my shop? Business genius in the forum! |
Can a single man become president of a country? Is it necessarily married people everytime? politics is not religion in anyway! |
As a married man or woman can you bath together with your spouse? Or your relationship bondness is not up to that extent. |
I'm sure some of us can't distinguish between the duo berry fruit #pawpaw&papaya#. But in this post i will explain the differences between these fruits. PAPAYA: is an oval shaped tropical fruit that looks like a rugby ball. It is sweet in taste and orange to reddish in colour. It is mostly grown in places with tropical climatic conditions as under such conditions it produces a large number of fruits. PAWPAW: is a tropical fruit which is yellow or green in colour and grown in many parts of the world. One can see it in supermarkets and open-air markets. The pawpaw fruit is considered as and oblong-shaped berry that can grow up to 6inches in length. It has yellow flesh and tastes mellow like banana. I can assure you that 90% of Nigerians have not tasted papaya or even seen it before in their life. Nursery school teachers misled us at young age. Welcome back from yesterday's sabbath rest. Happy new day! |

Do you know: That your urine smell is the same as your armpit? Why? Because in your body the same water that supplies sweat out of your body is also the same water that comes out of the bladder as urine. Therefore, they both carry the same type of BACTERIA. Try the experiment if you can! How was your day? |
I always argue with my siblings that salt makes the food more sweeter even after adding seasoning(maggi). But my siblings argued with me and said the seasoning is the sweetner of every food. Abeg who among us is right? |
