This opinion might sound weird to some people. But, looking at the vast population of Nigeria. Over 60% of the population cannot afford a standard car which at least 3.5m, while the other 40% are car owners.
The giants and great countries like the U.S, CHINA, JAPAN, RUSSIA, CANADA, U.K, GERMANY E.T.C. Go to those countries and see how both adults and youths even young teenagers are using bicycles and skate board for transporting theirselves from many kilometres.
But some Nigerians feel somehow too big to do this. Afterall, it is a form of exercise and getting healthier. Go to those countries i mentioned earlier u would someone's grandfather riding a bicycle like a teen. Afterall bicycles and skate boards don't need petrol or diesel to move.
The only thing that the Nigerian government have to do is to build up roads and bridges for bicycles and skate boards only. And a strict law should be attached against offenders.
I know so many Nigerians will not like this. But this is a citizen opinion. Thxs for reading!

Right from time that dis sis entered our house, i adviced my mum to be careful with her but she wouldn't listen to me. All she would say is "i know her mother very well, she is my friend and i would like to help her daughter to any extence". Okay i said.
This lady learnt to be a saloonist from my mum, and she automatically became her apprentice. She was suppose to pay for her freedom together with her form which costs N100k, but my mum reduced it to N25k and spoke to their association.
This ingrate would come to our house to eat breakfast,lunch and even dinner before going home even though we didnt have enough. As a boy then, i usually complain to my mum that my food has reduced on like b4, she would say pls manage it. She would still pay for her t-fare go-come.
Now, after she already learnt finished, she ran away and didn't do freedom neither did she pay the N25k she owned. My mum called her and her mum several times dey ignored. Now they are sending wedding invitation card. If it were u what will u do?

In those days, polygamy was the best way to live as a family to some. But it is very dangerous, most of our parents came out of a polygamous family. And all they could say about it is hell, discomfort, fustrations, spiritual battle and inherintance dispute. So why is it so dangerous? Or are you from a polygamous or monogamous family? Share ur experience i need some wisdom.

6 too entitled: whether its male or female dont feel entitled to your partners income or asset. Nobody is your father or mother

I dont know the reason why the church of today are against lovers who are yet to get married to wear matching outfits to the church, because we are not yet married( there is no point in this). Including my parents and my gf's parents they're both against it . It is just a sign of love and physical bondness. Or does it mean another thing? am yet to understand.

Through out my 100lv to 200lv, i lived a comfortable life in campus because of my groundnut business. I almost got discourged because some of my friends were making fun of me. Even at a point of my life i was tired and weary of my groundnut business because it was so stressful and time consuming. I wake 3am to fry the groundnut on hot salt for like 30mins, after that i wait for 10mins for it to be warm with my solar fan, then i will begin to peel, shieve and package inside nylon.
I was never lacking throughout my 100&200lv. My friends began to join me after noticing my success in the business.
Now that am in 300lv, i took a break from the business because my parents are planning to buy groundnut machines which will cost me N500 plus my own savings. I need a groundnut peeler(the most stressful process)300K and a groundnut fryer 200K. They are actually big machines, their length is about 4feets each. The cost worth it!

Nairaland would have been bigger than facebook. Nairaland was founded in 2005 and facebook 2006, but;
1 Nairaland would have gone far if it was not specialised only for Nigerians. It should have been created like a global media.
2 Nairaland lacks so many features that facebook offers. Like creating a group, live videos, direct chatting, account visibility to other users in order to generate followers.

Our landlady called for an urgent meeting at our dump site, and i was the last to attend the meeting. When i got to our dump site, i saw all my neighbours there and i greeted them and the landlady herself. So the landlady pointed to a dieing cigarette on dump site and asked if i knew anything about it? What sought of question is this" i said in my mind. After i denied not knowing anything about it, come and see the suspicious eyes that my neighbours used to look at me.
People sef, it could be anybody or those aboki that used to scavenge the dumpsite, since it is exposed outside.
