One of the funniest period in my life, was during covid-19 lockdown. I and my dad were playing chess at our corridor and we were having alot of fun. Until the baba told me he is craving for elephant meat pepper soup with palm wine. My yansh just bounced away from the bench i was sitting on, as i began to laugh wholeheartedly. The man was just looking at me, i went to the living room to tell the rest of the family. My mom said "baba yin o temo ikan to se, ni aye coro yin ni eran erin tun wu wan je. O da be! Meaning "your father doesn't know what is worrying him, in this period of coronavirus it is elephant meat he feels like devouring. That is good!

But it's over 2months now and the money i was expecting did'nt arrive. He called me yesterday to blame me for being the cause why he had already spent half of his contribution.

The last text he sent to me on whatsapp was"thanks for the delay!". And this morning i discovered he had already blocked me. I only saw my messages on his dm and none of his texts were there.

Family / People Are Taking Advantage Of This Economic Hardship! by Testiebobo(m): 8:54am On Mar 12
Maybe for while, we should just stop blaming the politians alone for the cause of our country's economic hardship. Let us focus on our fellow citizens like the market women, transport owners like the okada, keke and bus people and banks etc. You see these set of people are also making life more difficult for other citizens. They exagerate the price of their service, and taking advantage of the national hardship as the cause of increase in price. Could you believe that on sunday, i entered a bus from my house junction to my church junction for N200. And just yesterday, i entered the same type of bus to work, and that greedy agbero was telling me it was N300. And seriously, my working place is not far away from my church, they both have the same area address, same goes to the market women. Can you see now? We are the one doing ourselves.

Family / I Was'nt Allowed Into A Church Bcuz Of My Hairstyle! by Testiebobo(m): 7:52am On Mar 09
As a drummer, i was invited to one church to perform for their upcoming concert.
So in one of their rehearsals, their choir mistress was just staring at my face, and i wasn't comfortable with it. So after the rehearsal, she called me privately and told me that my hairstyle was ungodly and that the church might not want to permit me entry into the church on the choir concert day. And that the pastor will not want strangers to pollute and corrupt the minds of their youths.
Lo and behold, on the concert day i came to the church with my fade out hairstyle, like a handsome nigga i walked towards the church main door, and one skeleton usher didn't allow me to gain entry for the concert, pointing at my head repeatedly. Majestically, i walked away happily. I don chop 10k with no stress , their lazy youths could not produce a drummer. Emi ti jelo temi

Did you buy a pack of indomie at N42k?
I don't eat indomie and I don't know how much it is sold. But I won't be surprised if you're one of those unfortunate folks that come here to tell us ridiculous prices of goods, far above what it's been sold.
I don't know who asked you, it's you poor wretched nairalanders that are fond of this.
Just pack well! You are offpoint as usual. Your mates that comment on a trend with brain dont have extra foreheads

Family / Why Buying Foods In Bulks Would Profit Nigerians. Solution! by Testiebobo(m): 8:59am On Feb 03
I decided to find a solution to the expenses we spend on food daily in my home. So i brought this suggestion to my mom and i know it may work for other people:
# I told her that if we calculate the money we spend on petty petty food stuffs we buy daily for breakfast, lunch and dinner the money is close to N5000 per day aside from other things. Also, why not we buy foods in bulk from the market every last saturdays of the month and still sustain us to the next month again. If we collect some thrift contributions and add it up with some handful amount of money in hand and buy food stuffs in bulks, we would be able to pay back easily because the money spent on daily food would be absent. Because things are getting expensive daily, i dont even understand this country again. Happy new month!
