yes my country is not an entity i'm proud of, it's a failed state where thieves and other rouges are praised because of the wealth they've acquired. Nigeria as killed the dreams of many to stardom and it's a source of ridicule for those who are outside the country......Nigeria's problem is like the girls, they complain that all guys are bad and that they want the good ones but when the good ones comes along they put them in the friend zone or ignore them which eventually causes them to be broken heart-ed later on. If not for online tools, media,forums, online news channels, twits etc, do you think the recent Egyptian revolution, or that of Libya would have recorded as much success as it has today? Do you think Syrians would have gotten the UN to even bat an eye over their problems?

Majority of Nigerians are not happy with country's predicament, they want positive change and any genuine effort made by the country's leadership to bring positive change will be appreciated by the masses.

all in all i know is Nigeria will not move forward if there's no cooperation between the government and the people, the government can only do their best (assuming we have a good government).

if there's away to enlighten especially young Nigerians that they deserve better, Nigeria has got both the natural and human resources to sustain a viable economy. what Nigeria need is young people from all over the country irrespective of cultural background to come together to form a political party that can be an example of what Nigeria should be.

I mean these leaders, as someone said earlier, did not fall from the sky upon Nigerians. They have been right there with the people from the beginning, and were essentially ALLOWED by the Nigerian people to impose their vision-less selves on them.

it kinda goes both ways too, i mean why come out to contest for an office when you know you are not capable? also it is the people's fault for choosing incompetent individuals as leader....and i feel like Nigerians are not really ready for change yet, the mentality of the majority is heart aching, when they're really ready for change and good governance, no one force them to take charge.

seems like you're the one arguing here cuz i'm not, i'm just stating my opinion which doesn't change the fact that the government, Jonathan, governors and others suck so bad. Nigeria was handed over to people that were open minded people, people with vision, people who traveled around the world and saw how things were done in those part of the world but as time went on things changed, and then the military coupes and what not kicked in.
