Why spend State funds on hosting an expensive banquet, when the state is borrowing money to fund infrastructure?

$25k is 60 million naira ?? In what country ??
I'm clearly referring to the 60 million you said he got for being a Glo ambassador. Isn't that obvious ?
Celebrities › Re: US Court Forbids Burna Boy From Performing In U.S And Canada by texazzpete(m): 6:41pm On May 28, 2017
IhateAfonjas:

What drugs are you on ?? Stupidity pills ??

End of his career because of a mere $25k ?? Poverty is a disease

I can pay off that debt without going to the bank, not even to talk about Burna boy who started making millions of dollars at the age of 18

Being a Glo ambassador made him a cool 60 mil

You can smell the end of his career but can't smell the poverty that is wrecking your life
60 million NAIRA. And part of that sum will go to his label/management.

There are many fishy things about this blog post. For one, what is 'New York Supreme Court'? And nobody is going to litigate and ask for only $25k back...legal fees alone will gulp the lot.
Celebrities › Re: Zzini Media Powers Floyd Mayweather Africa Tour As He Storms Nigeria by texazzpete(m): 1:42pm On May 28, 2017
azimibraun:
By the time he comes and goes back, I will want you to still maintain the same position o! Mayweather is visiting Nigeria and you think it's a waste. Have you botherd to check what visits like this does to the communities this celebs visit. He wll make commitment and he will fulfil them interms of assistance to be it Destitutes, Handicapped people, Widows, Building an academy, Adoption of exceptionally talented orphans, opening up potentials of those communities to the world, Staging of big fights in Nigeria in the future.. etc. Mayweather will come and go and Nigeria will be the biggest gainer not Mr Mayweather.
Why can't the money being used to fly him in and pay for his visit go directly to the 'destitutes, handicapped people, widows and orphans' you cite?

Tons of other reasons you could have attempted to use to justify this, but this is completely illogical and brainless.

Politics › Re: Photos From The Port Harcourt Pleasure Park by texazzpete(m): 7:53pm On May 26, 2017
This doesn't seem all that impressive, to be honest. The whole thing looks pretty barebones.
context matters. Considering the tens of billions of Naira borrowed and the large monthly influx from IGR and allowance from the FG, I still find the pace of development in Rivers State seriously lacking.

Before you come at me with that APC vs PDP bullcrap, I thought the same about Amaechi's second term too.

I hate corruption. I also hate laziness.

You've been calling this 'corruption' repeatedly but ZERO attempt to show why you think it is overpriced. Zero research, zero effort. Where is the working to show you've benchmarked this against other bridge projects worldwide?

Politics › Re: Umahi's 2 Years Of Impactful Governance By Philip Nweze by texazzpete(m): 6:27am On May 23, 2017
All that long write up masks the painful fact that the actual list of measurable achievements is rather meager and paltry.

90% of the OP is spent in meaningless prose and endless flattery. Only 10% talks about 'achievements ' in the vaguest of terms. There will never be a shortage of sycophants in Nigeria.

Always amazing how people just wake up and believe the woman is at fault without any proof.

seems in Nigeria, only Pastors get defended with alacrity.

That is how that man came home from America, got shot by kidnappers/robbers after flaunting wealth in a club and the family blamed it on the estranged wife in the US.

Accept my sympathies. I once had a Trium that was hopelessly outdated while others were using Nokia 3310...back in 2003. I too would have lashed out then at strangers on the Internet.

BBM is already dead.

TinaAnita:
Whatever happens to Whatsapp? This strategy/compensation won't work on me. I was expecting BlackBerry to find a way to retain Whatsapp beyond June 30 not this crap. My BBM contacts are so useless now, if Whatsapp is taken away then BlackBerry becomes so useless.
New Blackberry phones run on Android these days. Those have full whatsapp support. Stop clinging to archaic devices running dead OSes.
Politics › Re: Internally Generated Revenue At State Level (2016) by texazzpete(m): 9:31am On May 12, 2017
Seriously impressive performance from Edo State. Generates far higher IGR than every single South Eastern state which should nominally be higher since several of those are manufacturing powerhouses.
