naijaking1:But later, people like YOU will wonder why this country isn't working and why corruption runs rampant. Let's STOP supporting criminal acts on ethnic basis. |
omonnakoda:'Robust' is an English word. There's substantial amount of information on Wikipedia on keloids and treatment methods. The OP seems hell-bent on surgically removing the Keloid. I gave him advice I distilled from Wikipedia on the best option to prevent recurrence after surgery, with the expectation that a Medical doctor would provide the final word. I also took pains to tell him to leave the Keloid alone. Surgery option? Best advice to follow up with additional treatment (Radiotheraphy, from what I could glean) to prevent or minimize the risk of recurrence. Recommended advice? Don't risk surgery. This seems simple enough to follow. I think if you put aside this undue belligerence and aim for comprehension, you'd be less susceptible to confusion. |
omonnakoda:Surprisingly, I did a bit of research first before posting. The Wikipedia entry on Keloids is quite robust. Looking at his picture, best advice is for him to just leave it alone. |
Don't ever try surgery alone. Surgery + Radiotheraphy seems to be best option to reduce recurrence. TO be honest, the Keloid's location doesn't seem that bad, and if your facial features are attractive enough, most ladies will overlook that. |
Kabashin:You lack basic comprehension skills, and it worries me. My point has been clear. What proof do you have that the account has been inactive until August 2016? I called for Precious to provide proof, and for the EFCC to also disprove her claims. In another other clime, this would have been considered a clear, reasonable position that straddles the middle ground. Instead, like a zombie, you swallow one side of the story that suits your alignment with corruption. Also note that with the BVN policy in place, it is very likely that ALL accounts (active and inactive) linked to a BVN under investigation will be flagged by the EFCC. In that case, the bank will still summon the EFCC no matter when the account was activated. If this is too difficult to process, I can translate into Pidgin English for you to boost your comprehension. |
Abeg wetin concern Ohanaeze with Patience Jonathan? Apparently you cannot release press statements or reports from ongoing trials without being accused of 'Media trial'. Na wa. |
nwabobo:I wish crimes were reported to the police or EFCC, and not the CJN who has no power to prosecute. |
Kabashin:My dear illiterate, in my original post, I called on the EFCC to provide clarification. Is it my fault your comprehension skills are as mediocre as your IQ? Kabashin:The EFCC does not freeze or flag accounts just for having cases in court. they work with the banks to flag or freeze accounts that are suspected to have received inflow from ill-gotten sources that are under investigation. The bulk of your contribution here so far is to whine and complain about an agency doing their job. At the very least, you're a supporter of corruption. Zombie ![]() |
SmartChoices:Don't bother, crook. I'm perfectly capable of crafting and saying my own prayers without input from those allied to thieves. Cheers, and I hope those crooks you defend so vigorously will throw you some money once in a while. |
Kabashin:Must you be so silly, accepting the word of Precious at face value without any doubts? Where is the 'oppression' there? EFCC doing their jobs in monitoring a flagged account? Or access Bank following anti-corruption laws? You supporters of corruption are desperate to ruin Nigeria. Shame on you, crook! |
Phonefanatic:The 'naming dog Buhari' case has been trashed out repeatedly here. He was arrested for incitement, not 'nothing'. More importantly, he was NOT arrested by the EFCC or DSS...and the DSS is not a party to this current FFK/EFCC wahala. Why are you trying to throw up red herrings? I wonder why you accept the word of FFK's lady so readily as gospel truth? My point is clear. there needs to be more clarity from both parties. It is not the EFCC's role to disclose personal bank info of a citizen, but it may be apt in this case to disclose the date when the 2.4m balance existed...and to tackle the suggestions that the account remained dormant until just August 2016. |
I read the EFCC statement again. It never claimed that the balance was N2.4 million at the time of the arrest. Here's the exact wording below “The said account, which had a balance of N 2,307,712.82 was flagged following investigation into the PDP Joint Trust fund when the Commission traced N1.1billion to the Zenith Bank account of Fani-Kayode.It can EASILY be argued that the EFCC spokesman was referring to the balance of the account when it was flagged, and the wording (use of the past tense 'had', and the statement insinuating that this was as at when traced by the EFCC) does support this. Final step is for Precious to release the entire account info...and of course for the EFCC to show that the account was only frozen last friday or has not been dormant for long. |
saint047:I have my facts right. YOU are the one speaking up for lawlessness and impunity, where a sitting Governor is illegally shutting down a bank, to punish them for following Nigeria's corruption laws. Your shameless and disgraceful support for corruption is noted. |
saint047:The bank did the right thing to contact the EFCC. Why are you people so determined in your support for corruption? |
naphcoco:Why will you casually let your village people make an im'becile out of you? The account in question has been flagged. All accounts linked to FFK's BVN have been flagged. Attempted withdrawal from a flagged account will lead to EFCC / police investigation. That is common sense, which you so obviously lack. This has NOTHING to do with whether FFK is an affluent man or not. I wish you folks would STOP defending corrupt people. |
HandsomeKing:You need to see an optometrist ASAP. Then after that, see Prophet TB Joshua for deliverance from imbecility. |
LastMumu:If you lived in Edo state for a while, you'd understand. Public mourning is an art form. |
IPOB will say any nonsense just to blast Buhari. Clueless fellows. |
What's the back story to this? Why are people dumping trash on the road in the first place ? |
amagunnerfan:My broda, I have BEGGED, CAJOLED AND ThREATENED them to stop calling me. When I was their customer, they were extremely lousy. Now I don comot, they keep bugging my life. I've had to block all their numbers. Truecaller helps me identify the others. |
Flets:Global Terrorist Index (GTI) that these nigerian news journalists are quoting called them 'fulani militants' when they made that statement on their deadliness. Here, have a look yourself. http://static.visionofhumanity.org/sites/default/files/2015%20Global%20Terrorism%20Index%20Report.pdf Your problem is your rank ignorance and your pride prevents you from seeing this and humbly seeking help. I expected better from someone like you who has been educated. Staking a claim based on headlines instead of reading the actual source. You were previously a source of amusement, but now you just elicit feelings of strong disappointment. Shame. |

joeprince23:No. Una sabi thuggery and electoral violence. That's why in every single election in your state, blood has to be spilled. Whether na APC or PDP you support, one thing is paramount...Not a single person was killed or maimed in Edo State in the just concluded elections. id911:I agree that Edo State is a clear exception since nobody there spends their days wailing about marginalization ![]() |
Flets:Speaking of 'uininformed'... 'Condensate' is not one of the products of local refining of crude oil. The guys in the creek refine out gasoline and diesel, discarding much of the heavier by-products and waste water in the waterways. As the name implies, 'Condensate' is low density liquid that condenses out of gas. Fulani militants (who can also be herdsmen) are described as terrorists, NOT 'Fulani herdsmen'. Unless you're accusing Southern beef eaters of supporting terrorism ![]() To explain it to you in simple terms 1) All Fulani militants are terrorists 2) Some Fulani militants are herdsmen 3) Not all herdsmen are terrorists. If this doesn't sink in, you cannot be helped. |
Flets:Basic common sense cannot be seen as 'playing to the gallery'. Flets:Why are you clowns always eager to shift the goalposts so shamelessly? Nobody here said anything about 'Government inaction'. I gave cogent point why the Nigerian Airforce is of limited effectiveness in tackling the menace of some belligerent armed fulani herdsmen. Unless, of course, you still insist ALL herdsmen are terrorists and that the airforce adopts a policy of bombing and strafing all herds of cattle they spot. Flets:'under armed protection' is essentially the same as being armed. Your misuse of the 'playing ostrich' phrase is noted...thanks for adding levity to this discussion, even though it is at your expense. |
This is where funds are allocated, in a recession? Facepalm. |
Finest001:Has any individual - to your knowledge - approached the FG via NNPC/DPR to request for license for modular refineries and have been refused? Why are you even moving the goalposts? Are the people in the creeks using safe, environmentally friendly refineries? Have you run economics on the small scale refinery process to know if it is economically viable? These guys in the creeks are using stolen, free oil. What makes you think their business will remain viable if they have to buy better equipment and then purchase oil from the FG at $40 per barrel? |
Flets:Don't be ridiculous. Fulani herdsmen bring cattle from the North to sell in the South. While there are bad eggs among them, there are undoubtedly lots of them who do no wrong and just move their cattle. How is the airforce supposed to act against the herdsmen? Strafe and bomb all cattle they see? Blow up all herds of cattle? Some Fulani herdsmen are murderers and security threats. Those cannot be distinguished from the air. ALL Illegal refinery operators are criminals perpetrating a terrible economic and environmental crime against Nigeria. Those can easily be spotted from the air and routed. Surely, even you can see the difference. Flets:The illegal refiners are 100% under armed militant protection. Their sponsors make millions of dollars from their actions. |
Flets:Sometimes it is better to keep quiet and let others assume your silence masks great wisdom, than to talk and say something as crazy as this. Do you even know what 'Ethnic cleansing' is? An armed, dangerous cartel is stealing oil and gas resources that belongs to Nigeria and should belong to your children (and also devastating the environment in the Niger Delta)...and you're resisting Govt attempts to deal with them. Incredible |
razortruth:I see this opinion expressed all too often, and it's hilarious. There's is a difference between small scale, highly inefficient and highly pollutive refining and large scale, environmentally friendly and modern refining. This is like asking why Nigeria cannot put an astronaut on the moon because people make 'rocket' fireworks in Aba. |
princechrming:Nothing stands out about this phone. About the same.specs as flagships that have been out since March/ April. The cameras in the Bold series were terrible. You're touting 'digital zoom' as a feature. Something all phones have had since 2009. Is this a joke? |
