Shut up man, Trump never called Buhari "lifeless on Twitter", we are not sure if Trump even made the statement.

Donald Trump hosted Buhari in 2018 in his first meeting with an African leader, we all know President Buhari isn't articulate.
According to Financial times, the media house that broke out the news Eight months after the visit, reported that Trump jokingly told his aides that He doesn't want to meet a lifeless person like Buhari again. (This might actually be a paid article by Atiku Abubakar, we never can tell)

Papilo does not say his words like a typical Nigerian. His accent is off, not quite Nigerian, but not quite foreign. Just caught in the middle

I don't have a recollection of how Ndidi sounds, but I recall Mikel was dragged for having a wannabe British accent by Nigerians for many years, maybe na retirement make una don dey reconsider.

When Kelechi retires too, we will say his accent was not forced after all.

Like I said, as long as they can be understood, make we no dey mock their accent. Sometimes, na pressure make people accent dey change and then they eventually get used to it.
na comedy for me jare no hard feelings mam as long as he his happy speaking it we would enjoy it as it part of entertainment grin wink

Which British accent came naturally to Mikel? Him own too na forced, same as Kanu's own initially, but with time, they just got used to it and it became permanent.

Make una allow these boys to dey talk like Pounds Sterling people, as long as we dey hear them.
I don't even think kanu ever used British accent papilo just says his words like a typical Nigerian and Mikel from his interview back at Chelsea he doesn't sound fake like nacho's his own dey glaring abeg even ndidi is Same as kanu dey speak with their Nigerian accent wink

Even at Chelsea thread people see something wrong in shehu abdulahi making the team at first ,but someone here was saying we don’t like the guy because he was playing at Cyprus ,ask yourself what does that guy offers that others RB can’t ?

It’s the way nobody is talking about omeruo like it’s his birth right to always make the super eagles squad grin

My afcon line up and formation below 4-2-3-1
GK: Maduka

RB-Ola Aina CB-Ekong CB-Balogun LB- Sanusi

Onyeka. Ndidi

RW: Chukwueze AM: Joe Aribo LW: Ejuke

CF: Taiwo Awoniyi

Awaziem or ajayi can come in for any of the CB as I have no problem with that

Iheanacho or iwobi can come in for Aribo ,iheanacho can also come in for the CF and even iwobi can come in for the wingers

Sadiq umar and ighalo are also good options from the bench ,not as starters for me

If sanusi and aina are failing with their job ,we still have Ebuehi and Collins ,Collins is not that bad as people here thinks

I don’t know what I will do with Ahmed musa Moses Simon or onyekuru ,any of them might just surprise me but as a coach none of these players will come into the field till the 80th minutes of the game

I don’t have much to say about nwakali ,maybe he can come in for onyeka later in the game

I am going with Maduka since he is playing in a better league and he is regular ,I don’t really trust him though and I don’t think uzoho has played much this season

This is my opinion and I believe this is 80 percent our best line up ,I know the coach will be different sha .
nice submission bro just a quick reminder balogun isn't available anymore wink

Don’t mind them

Ndidi is a defensive midfielder doing his job well but my people are not satisfied

Dem want make e take ball Dey dance skelewu and Dey give passes like Pirlo before dem go satisfy

Funny set of people
in the process of him doing his job well he still takes some of ekongs responsibility and people still don't see that the guy is giving 100% in his role thanks to him we could have Been watching the qualifiers without no interest because he literally block a vital last minute goal bound effort when our keeper don cripple grin grin grin

Danielnino00:
Good afternoon ladies and gentlemen.
Sequel to my post yesterday where I expressed my intention to take over the responsibility of organising the annual Nairaland Nigeria Football award as requested by Icon4s this year, I'm glad to announce that the award would go ahead as planned, and I'll be coordinating it with Drklever.

Four people from this thread will join the nomination committee alongside me and Drklever, with icon4s being a honorary member.

On this note, members of the thread are to nominate 3 monikers they wish to be part of the committee. Unlike how it was previously done where we would nominate only one moniker, I suggest we nominate 3 each so as to make it more flexible and have more people nominated.
Here's how the nomination selection will be sorted;
3 points would be awarded to the first name nominated, 2 points to the second and 1 point to the last.
Example: I nominate Danielnino00, Drklever and icon4s. in this case, Danielnino00 will have 3 nomination point, Drklever will have 2 and icon4s will have 1.
At the close of the nomination process, the 4 monikers with the most points will be added to the committee. Any moniker that's selected to the committee but doesn't wish to participate for any reason whatsoever will be replaced by the another one from below the top 4.
Nomination starts now and close on Monday, December 27th 2021.

Thank you.

Jordan is the monster machine of our basketball team he literally carried the team on his back during the Olympics wish we had two of him in that team we would have made it far as we kept on loosing games in the 4th quarter after Jordan is exhausted because he always push him self to the limit and get tired by 3rd quarter I remember when he did a 3 pointer consistently in a match at the Olympics even the commentators where wowed and kept on saying the ball should be passed to him for another 3 wink

Osimehn has come out to declare himself fit and ready for afcon I don't see any reason for not taking him thier and he won't just come on social media saying he his ready without him getting a good percentage of assurance from his doctor's he his not 100% yet but has a good percentage to make it on the field by the time afcon kicks off wink and thanks to Napoli for resting him well for us if dey think dey are using delay tactics to keep him sorry is their name because osigoal already sees himself as an afcon golden boot winner and the standing 9 going to afcon and Napoli won't stop that dream wink

I'm not one of them,I've never been one of those who called for ejike to play 10 for us or even b our playmaker .

From my comments u quoted ,u should b able to deduce what my stance r on that midfield role.

But if it was Nwakali u were implying on,
I assure u,when he eventually given the opportunity ,he will surely surprise u.

We understand u have a soft spot for aribo, but he has been just average for us,
He was actually d one been pretending in that position for us.

Aribo cannot b trusted with that position ,or the role of play making for us,when a better option appears,he will simply make way n relinquish that no. 10 shirt for us.
aribo isn't a pretender he his actually fit for the job and him and iwobi owns that position and nwakali will still be regarded as a 3rd choice when he makes it into the national team Squad which his performance will let us know if he will contend for the 10 shirt and all thanks to rorh for limiting aribo's forward play to make you think he can't be trusted go and watch him against Brazil and Ukraine then you will see rorh was actually the cause for him not looking like the aribo of rangers wink
