There’s no pride boss. The man dribbled past his opponents today but as usual, his end product was abysmal. He couldn’t even force their goal keeper to a save… I will give him credit for dribbling his opponents numerous times… all I need from Simon is quality end product, Goals or assist
also direct this to chukwueze also he didn't even have much dribble success compare to moses and Moses will improve as the tournament progresses he actually did well and contributed to our goal wink

The line up is not impressive. I won't join some of you here and be pretending. I will gnash my teeth and use a microphone.

The bite is not creative enough. And the midfield is minus one. Nacho has been a liability to the SE for the past games. I pray he comes good today.

I will root and support the team. But allow me express my opinion in peace. The line up LACKS creativity against an Egyptian side that we should choke this first half and not wait till the second half to introduce the joker. What of we conceed 2 goals and find it hard to come back into the game.

Good luck to the team and all the best.
kindly keep us posted with the book of lamentation you will be quoting as the match progresses grin grin

With all the Ejuke noise Eguavoen has been making, one would have thought that Ejuke would start. I no too blame the coach sha. Simon's work will be to mark Salah. Chukwueze is our only real attacking outlet and we all know how erratic his form can be. Let's hope today is one of his good days. That said, Ekong remains a constant source of worry for me. That guy's quality keeps getting worse game after game. From poor anywhere-belle-face passes to poor man marking and causing unnecessary fouls, that guy is a disaster waiting to happen. I hope he proves me wrong.

The list is, otherwise, very okay. Since we have no competent no.10, it's better we do without that position for now. I only wish Aribo will be good with his ball distribution today instead of doing his usual box-to-box running. The team's midfield creativity lies squarely on his shoulders. Lastly, i hope Iheanacho has finally learnt how to trap ball grin.

Go Super Eagles!

Lol imagine this Franco-German bingo already had an already made excuses going to the AFCON. Dude didn’t even believe in his team yet he couldn’t give other players chances to stake a claim. To him, we don’t a chance against a one man team like Egypt. So that criminal was just there because of money, yet he was pretending all these while?

This ekuke once had players from Mancity, Arsenal, Chelsea *2, and he couldn’t do jack with them, he is here dey yarn opata?

Rohr is the worst thing to have happened to the SE.

My observation on Ghana vs Morocco match
1. Ghana really held there own but where light in the midfield which affected there attack with only their number 15(paintsil) who force some nice attack driving from midfield to create a chance, hopefully dey get there second game right and grow into a tournament team.
2. Morroco have a compact defense, won the midfield battle toward the end of the match which gave them more boost in attack and eventually turns out good as they got their goal, thou off some error from partey, they are toothless in attack and might just always settle for a one goal or two goal win going forward and I personally think that coach made a wrong decision dropping ziyerch. wink

TheGoodJoe:

We are likely going to play a high block when we are with the ball but stay tight when we are not with it. We will press when we lose it and fall back to shape if we don't get it early.

Most importantly, the game plan will be to win the ball early and transition it immediately to an attack.

We are going to play both ways but in a dominant fashion.
sounds good I hope our inhouse members in garoua will transmit this to our Head coach as tomorrow's game might be won or loose in that midfield battle because we and Egypt have attackers that will punish each other defense wink at any given instance smiley

I will. Let us see how it goes. But, I will actually analyse after the game. I hope we like what we see. I have high expectations for the team.
what approach will suit you prof is it typical sit back and hit on counter or gen gen pressing because with this line up we look good winning the midfield battle which will give us that Free flow attacking style "yori yori 9ja football" wink

The thing is Nacho had never been a Striker from the beginning, the continual pushing of him, playing the striking position, had not done him any good, safe his surroundings of goals and assists
it actually did him really good while at City getting the most goals par game ratio in europe under pellegrin who understands him much better than any other manager as far as am concern and he did well few times Rogers has given him the opportunity to lead the line though he isn't your tipical point man but his clinicality infront of goal outweigh his little flaws as a real top 9 but he his a perfect fit for a flase 9 wink

From what I have seen so far from the training sessions and responses from the head coach, this is my expected formation.

We are going to play a high line possessive game and technique will play a huge role. Ball playing skills will play a big part too. Also long balls from deep will play a big part. So Awaziem and Ekong will work. Aina's offensive duty will play a part.

We are not primarily talking about AFCON experience but international experience. Sadiq and Awoniyi don't have international experience and that is a big gamble. You don't gamble with your attack, although I don't blame the coach. No thanks to injury (Osimehn) and club politics (Ighalo)
you will never disappoint with this your usual ekuke submission you add osimehn who him self was like an apprentice in the last afcon and will have that greenhorn tag coming to this afcon and tell mbappe and the great Pele this nonsense international experience talk and see them laughing at you then send you to go check thier wiki page to educate yourself wink
