SeeItSayIt: Drug servant, feel free to make old notes your legal tender in Lagos. You better think of reconciling with your rejected son before you get doomed.
Yorubas are also not very lucky like some other tribes in Nigeria to have right people in position of authority.
I sincerely feel for the good Yorubas 'cos their level of education is really not playing out on their people holding political positions.
Yorubaland is the best governed region in Nigeria. That is why you people will rather die in our land.
Zandena: The moment i heard that both Edo and Bayelsa state governments have pleaded to be joined as respondents (siding with FG/CBN) in the ongoing supreme court suit by some states governors, I knew their suffering masses will come for them! CBN wants to dip Nigeria into anarchy and civil disobedience. They will fail woefully and fatally.
SLAP44: Tinubu will be very happy about this news, he went to congratulate Buhari for a job well done
You are a foo.l
No be you Zombidients dey encourage Emefiele to carry on because of your hate for Tinubu as anything Tinubu oppose must be the right thing to you haters.
When I tell people this Policy na APC he go favor dem say na lie say na to keep people away from Vote buying some dreamer go soon wake up say dey av been scammed....
I will keep saying it I love APC script writer dem go make people suffer dey confused sote on election day wen people see ordinary 200naira new note dem go run colet am go vote dem...
everythinggirly: I no fully understand, what do they need cash for?
The keke, bike etc that ad-hoc staff will use to transport themselves from RAC centers to their polling station (especially in remote areas) will only accept cash, food vendors, etc
rajiedreez: I've been an INEC ad-hoc staff in previous elections and to some extent cash is inevitable. In most cases the monies are given for transportation and feeding. Even if you can pay for food with transfer, will you pay for transport with transfer too. INEC doesn't pay election renumeration with cash. It's only the stipends needed for staffs to navigate to RAC and for their feeding during the elections. Also cash is needed for RAC maintenance. In as much as cashless policy is good, there are many areas that still depends on cash.
Thank you. Don't mind that mumu that said he once participated in election and they paid after election. How do you mobilize ad-hoc staff without feeding and transport?
I've been part of this system since 2007 (Yaradua's ) election.
ChybuzzDD: When did INEC start paying its adhoc staffs before the election? When i took part in it some years ago, the payment was made after the election.
Lmao
They also paid your training, transport and food allowance after election?
JoshTim: Oga, you have to sit and be thought like a baby again. Have you visited the villages and know the effectiveness of the cash swap program?....this policy is a hard and sudden one, it's affecting everybody. Debts are in overdue, sales low, huge financial illiteracy, micro traders accept cash alone, petty cash cannot be met, and the associated hoarding that it creates, long queue, time and energy wastage, unproductivity, hunger....
Why set a deadline when you know you didn't print enough new notes?...this is an abberation and a disappoinment on the part of CBN. Did they conduct a livelihood impact assessment to know the effects of a major monetary policy?, If yes, where is it?....you don't just sit in your office, make decision and have the president sign. There are due process to be followed.
This Naira redesign and cashless policy imbroglio has really exposed the mental and literacy level of Obi supporters.
He said, what if we're meant to believe that this move is to stop vote buying and at the election day, we see only APC coming with bags of monies to all pulling units to trade votes....When everyone must have been tired and hungry and broke....Then only APC came with the new naira notes to share for the people?
I hope this isn't what will happen.... Because, this might just be a game plan. And everyone is behind their plans.
The whole thing might just be to make it seems like the FG is fighting Tinubu when in the real sense, it's making it simple for Tinubu to scale through easily....
Officialtruekay: Beware! Here is another trade money programme. Now that the narrative on giving money and gifts during election has changed, resorting to a new method is imminent and there they go.
Money is scarce and vote buying is an abomination. This the new game plan.
Don't be fooled, it's another way of giving gratifications for this election. Vote wisely..
Vote buying will be easy now because people will gladly sell their votes on election day in exchange with one rubber of rice.
One of his 200k Aides even phoned in a radio program and divulged what Wike told them. Guy said, he and many others would vote Peter Obi.
10 days to the elections. An average Rivers guy is a one-man-riot squad.
Wike only got the support he got so far because he played the SS victim card and reminded them how Atiku worked against GEJ.
All that's needed is to remind them of how Tinubu made GEJ lose.
Tinubu or APC can't get 3% in Rivers
Those 5 or 10 people wearing Tinubu's cap could as well be in a beer palour in Ebute meta in Lagos claiming Rivers.
There is no way you want to spin it, anything that makes PDP not to turn in the usual one million plus votes from Rivers state is a huge advantage to APC.
This election is still a straight contest between APC and PDP.
socialmediaman: Some riffraff below is urging his "fellow youths" to support a man who can barely understand what he says, for president. He's urging them to voluntarily take up chains and enslave themselves. You can't cure stupid!
Neckpresser101: Give me examples They are tribalistic they voted obj massively?
