Okay. Will check it out. That's nice. He has been really helpful here. Josh121: |
Yes, you would need an agent to apply to Fanshawe college but 250k is outrageous. You can use applyboard.com yourself and they would stand as your agent. I'm currently in Fanshawe college and we have a group already. You can send me a mail with your number so I can add you up. Bernice123456: |
You're welcome. Amen. And you too. All the best. Iamtombrown: |
Definitely, your sibling can be your sponsor. He/she needs to show a solid bank statement, letter of sponsorship and/or affidavit of support, document relating to his/her work/business, prove to show that you guys are truly related like same surname/family tree etc. ufoms: |
A return ticket is not compulsory but if you aim at getting PTA, you will need it. I would suggest Ethiopian airlines or Egyptair. AyoDeeeee: |
A bank letter of reference that signifies that he's the sole signatory to his account. Iamtombrown: |
You're welcome. But in some cases, their expertise plays a significant role in the application and that's if he/she knows her onions. Wish him the very best. Winnerpoks: |
By requesting for it. Because you would surely need it when you're here at the port of entry before receiving your study permit. Keep sending them webforms/mails regarding it and I believe it will drop on your portal. ANGELAFELIX: |
That's just it. Did it in the same Ikeja High court axis. HazeeyzaH: |
Basically the difference is the availability of information. Some of these agents are quite good in this while some are still a novice, so it depends on who your agent is. To me, if you pay enough attention here, ask questions, dedicate time to read previous threads, you will get a solid information regarding the whole study visa application and you can decide to DIY. Nevertheless, even if you use the service of an agent, ensure that you're actively involved in it as well because some of them sef no sabi. Na just hustle to dem. So don't be left in the dark or just leave everything in the hands of the agent. Winnerpoks: |
That's such an outrageous amount. I would advise you to check up for samples of these deed of gift online, download several formats and just tailor it to your taste. After this, you can print it out and take it to the high court or notary public to have it stamped. I did the deed of gift I used in my application by myself and only spent #1500 to get it notarized. Although it was a monetary deed of gift and not for Landed property. I can send you my format I remodified myself and you can find a way to personalise it with your own information. Cuppycak3: |
Mine took about 3 days. So it depends. Awesomegod2023: |
Why won't "they" remove it? You've never contributed to the thread in whatsoever way but you decided to divert from the purpose of the thread and use it as a means of advertising your products. Moreover, you created the account today and there's a big possiblity that you might be a scam. Or who can vouch for your credibility here? Mydayofjoy1: |
By packing a POF, hope s/he isn't going to formulate a fake account statements for you and present it as something genuine? You need to be careful because this is usually the reason why most people get a 5 year ban. You can ask around for companies that can fund your personal account and then you pay them some certain percent. That's still better. cadno: |
Amen. Thank you. RelaxingEnd actually did the whole surfing the internet to get an accomodation. It was majorly an online thingy. You can check out kijiji.ca, 4rent.ca, rentfaster.ca. Athough we had a lady on ground who helped us to physically check those houses and connected us with this landlord. TheHamzy: |
Landing Gist!!! To the glory of God, my fourth application was granted on the 30th of November after being refused 3 times and judicial review not granted. I eventually moved on the 29th of December and it was a smooth journey down here when I arrived on Thursday. My flight to Addis Ababa was 1:40pm but I was already in MMIA around 10am with my fam. Started the whole check-in processing, did the weight thing and my both luggages were a bit above 23kg but normal Naija level, we found a way to sort that out. I had a little difficulty getting my boarding pass at first because my return date exceeded my passport expiry date but it was eventually sorted out too. After having my boarding pass, I went back outside to take pictures with my family and it was an emotional moment but this is what we've all being praying for. I said my goodbye and went back to face the journey ahead of me. We eventually took off around 2pm, it was a cool 5 hours journey down to Addis Ababa. I landed there, had a layover of about an hour and the long journey began. We took off from Addis Ababa for about 8 hours on air and had a stopover for about an hour in Dublin for refueling. Then we took off again down to Toronto. I really enjoyed the flight, Ethiopian airlines cabin crew sabi take care of person. Those ladies are lovely and quite approachable. I chop, watch movie, press phone tire. Na whenever I happen to doze off dem go carry something come, the lovely lady beside go wake up say dem don bring food if I want or not. Lmao. I no want ke? Sleep go clear for my eyes and I go collect the food chop. Had rice, chicken, cake, bread, biscuit, drank juice, coffee, etc. The long flight down to Toronto was so sweet but omo, e far ooo. To the glory of God, I arrived in YYZ around 9am Toronto time. We alighted and I quickly went for the study permit stuff. Did a declaration, received my study permit without any questions from the officer. I only presented my Letter of Introduction (the front page) and my passport. I quickly dashed off to the luggage area. Naso I see my hand luggage first but my 2 major bags con become wahala but I eventually saw both bags. When I sighted the Indians gathering around on a queue one side I sharply asked what's it about and I was told it's for SIN. I waited for about an hour plus and got my SIN over there in the airport. My darling uncle was around to pick me up and from there we went to the store to get my SIM card/number too. We got home to his place in Milton and I was heartily received by my folks. Around evening, we went to the bank to open my account and I sorted that out too same day. Now I'm in my London, Ontario to begin my classes in Fanshawe college this week. RelaxingEnd and myself got an apartment together prior to coming here. Such a great guy. Omo, but why's no one talking about how tedious it is to get an accomodation? We eventually got a good offer and now our journey in Maple land is about to begin. May the Lord guide our steps in this new sojourn. I return all glory to God Almighty for making this Canadian dream successful for me because it wasn't an easy feat but with preseverance, patience, faith, encouragement and God's grace, it finally worked out in my favour. It's a new phase of life and in this new year and years to come in this new land shall be favourable to me. Ilu yi a san mi, a gbe mi lagbara Ase Edumare. A big Thank you to everyone because I can't seem to talk enough about how much information I got here. I wish everyone expecting a response a positive reply (PPR) and I wish those still gathering their documents the very best too. Everything go eventually make sense! |
Have you gotten your stamped passport back? Because I heard Abuja is faster than Lagos. apeja2017: |
PPR Alert guys! Application submitted: August 2nd PPR Dropped: November 30th. I was ushered into the new month with such good news. It was my fourth application. The feeling has been amazing since last night. I pray everyone experience this overwhelming joy. I will provide my documents submitted but I need to be updated on if i can walk-in to submit my passport in the Vfs office in Lagos tomorrow and the necessary documents. I have also misplaced the yellow biometrics slip, how can i rectify that? |
The IRCC that will send you a PPR (request for your passport) will most likely be the one in Nairobi but your passport will be stamped at the Canadian VAC center in Lagos or Abuja. NotaMod: |
Yep, you are on the right track. You can also add a miscellaneous of about $2-3kCAD and some estimated amount to serve as your airfare as well. MsLane: |
Even with the #9290 calculation, what you paid still wasn't enough. You still have a balance of #120. I am trying to figure out why you couldn't even sum it up and just pay 30k let them keep the change instead of short-paying them with an amount that isn't even the actual amount. After all the stress involved in this Canada japa hustle, this should be the bottom barrel of issue to have with them. It is well. Just pay them their balance so your passports can be treated. Vecas: |
When did you submitted your application? What you need to do next is to exercise patience and remain positive. And if your application has passed the 13 weeks processing time, you can be contacting them through the webform/email to get an update on your application. Introvert56: |
Yeah, you will likely need a transit visa for a layover in the United States. Nerd95: |
It is not a compulsory document. But if you are a first time applicant, you can decide to include it. Abeg441: |
Sorry about the refusal. 1. You didn't show any documentation to show your host/sponsor's source of income: if he/she is into a business, you could have submitted the CAC certificate, receipt, pictures etc. If s/he happens to be an employee, you could have submitted a work ID and any other doc that relates the person with the job. If you declared any asset like a land/house, you should have included the survey plan, CofO, etc. 2. The closing balance of the SOA you submitted isn't sufficient enough to cover your entire living expenses (and maybe your tuition fee as well if it is not yet paid). You need to share all you did regarding the POF part of your application. You can also order for the GCMS note to get a concise explanation directly from the visa officer. Popson09: |
Amen. Thank you. Definitely, we will all testify by God's Grace. Esanson: |
Passing the medicals is an essential part of the whole thing but it doesn't guarantee the success of the visa since it is an upfront medical and not a medical request because they will review other docs as well. Since you submitted just a month ago, you should look forward to getting a positive response from them in a month, two months, three months or more - because it takes two months and above before they finalize most applications. Introvert56: |
Oh, I did mine on the 29th of September and it was updated on October 17th. Application submitted on the 2nd of August. Msveev: |
Okay. No probs. You can check your mail. Enitsua3M: |
No news from my side yet other than my medicals being updated two weeks ago. Hoping for the good news anytime soon. How about you? Msveev: |
Damn, this is already taking a toll on you. I had my fair share of this canada japa wahala when my third application got refused last year. Just relax yourself, reply the procedural letter with enough sincerity/explanation, take your mind off this for some time and hope for a positive response from them. All the best. SoftdudeKay: |
1. You will show previous balance of 4-6 months till the day you printed your statement of account. 2. Nope. Your POF is one of the essential documents. 3. It is best advisable that it stays there pending when you get a response from the embassy because sometimes they can ask for a recent SOA later. 4. You can go for your biometrics done after you have submitted your application and PCC is not a compulsory document. 5. Just the normal passport photograph that is clear enough. It seem you don't have the POF in place. I would advise you to keep nurturing it till it matures enough to cover your entire living expenses and school fees, then you submit your application. And be prepared to leave it there till when you get a final decision. profeddor15: |
