A Nigerian lady, Lyrnda Onwunali has called out her estranged husband, Okpoebo Chidozie for beating her up while she was pregnant, stabbed her cousin and also threatened to take his own life.

I remember searching on Google for my school's admission list in 2012 and I saw many pop ups.I clicked on nairaland only to discover a very interesting forum.I didn't register immediately though because it was kind of difficult for me as a first timer.I later signed up in 2013 when when I couldn't access some parts of an interesting story by one of the best writers here:repogirl because I wasn't a member.And since then ,I visit nairaland almost everyday.Even when I'm not with my phone,I open it with any available phone just to know what's going on.Its one of the best forum I know or should I say social media platform?
I have also introduced it to many persons who find it difficult not not to visit in a day.for example:my husband,he never goes a day without opening nairaland.

So guys,what made u join nairaland and how many persons have u introduced it to since u joined?

I tired dating a lady that wasn't from a rich home in a bid to escape form the insecurities many well-to-do ladies have, and there were baggages i couldn't deal with..It's such a sensitive matter. With the rising influence of feminism, and/or divergent ways of doing things, ladies are beginning to re-define the way things should be done in marriage ( Not saying it is wrong for ladies to have expectations and look out for it though).

One important aspect of the family that is affected in a marriage is the issue of " finance "

Now, I heard a lady saying she can't collect money from any man, because she doesn't want to be told the husband made her or made her wealthy. It touched my heart. This meant that in the marriage she wanted to keep her money, hence her money is hers, while the husband's money is either his or " theirs ".

What is your view on this subject? Do you agree? I thought marriage should be 50/50. Or better still couples should look for ways to work with a formula that works with them... What do you think?

Cuppy shared a video of her chasing, Victor Anichebe out of their hotel room, calling him her new best friend and captioned it with; "When you are cool with your ex".

The former lovebirds finally called it quit during their getaway in Dubai.

Moments after sharing the video, Dj Cuppy reacted on a post of her describing her ex, calling Victor a fool in her mother tongue, she wrote; 'Issa Ode'.

A woman has lost her life after she reportedly bought some herbal drugs on Facebook she had thought would help lighten her skin.

A Thai woman from Prae died after taking supplements sold online that were advertised as a way to get white skin and enhance breast size. But she developed kidney disease and died in her own bathroom before help could reach her.

Relatives who had arranged her 35th birthday party celebration on Friday were concerned when she didn't show. On Sunday they took her cake to present to her at her funeral, reported Kapook.

Wijitra Jantaphrom or Waew started taking the "herbal" supplements in capsules some months ago and initial results looked promising as her complexion improved.
