Are you a Muslim or just a sympathizer? All the materials I posted above are from Prophet Mohammad's Sunna and the references are there! How come you don't know where the materials came from? Or is it that you just profess to be a Muslim and know nothing about other Islamic literature apart from the Quran? Yes bad things happened during the military rule but I tell you, to get Nigeria out of the present junk yard we've found ourselves, we need redicalism and how do you think that can come by? If we give our voices against the military just because of what we percieved to have happened before now then what we are saying is that the nonsense happening now is the only option, in other words, radical change is not an option(?)! If you condemn the military because of two people, namely Babangida and Abacha, then be well aware that they did most of the things they did because of their civilian collaborators! What we need though is not just the military but a well intentioned set of military men! Civilians can't do it alone, at no time and no where have they done it alone, name it: British Revolution, French Revolution, American Revolution, Bulgarian Revolution, Ghanian Revolution, etc. If we continue complaining, our children suffer more us! I've been saying and would continue to say; if all muslims were like Yoruba muslims, If my muslim brothers in the north can be like Yoruba muslims, Nigeria would've been 40% more of a nation. Coming from the North and witnessing things first hand, Yoruba muslims are the true muslims ( since Islam is often called a religion of peace) and I personally respect them so much! Gentlemen and Ladies of Nairaland, this is just a proposal! In a proposal, alot of things are brought forward because at the end not all would scale through approval. Again, Presidential yatch is an official thing, just like presidential jet or convoy. Nigeria does not have a presidential yatch with which to review a joint naval exercise with other foreign nations to be carried out in our territorial waters and to be reviewed by our president. Nigeria has been going for such exercises with other nations, now they are coming and we don't even have a presidential yatch with which the president can review the exercise! You might not understand this but just know that it is not out of place. Yes, the amount might be overquoted but again, it is a proposal. In official matters, the one who is proposing is responsible for any shortage if the proposal eventually gets approved, thus, the amount forwarded is usually over and above the cost price so that in the incidence of down trimming which usually is the case, it might still fall within the purchasing cost. Finally, GLJ has nothing to do with this, this is just a proposal coming from an arm of the defence ministry, still far from the presidency.

I think Pastor TBJ's problem is english language. We expect him to talk like an intellectual, quote books, and relate events in logical sequence of occurrence. But truth is he is not as educated as the men of God most of us are farmilier with and he might not be relating the matters in his life in accordance with any laid down procedure. Again, understandings of spiritual terminologies are not the same unless you are used to their frequent use and judging from TBJ's claimed background, we cannot say with certainty that he understands some questions in the light with which they were asked.

I'm not a member of his church. I prefer to remain in the church where I understand the way things are done, as for the word of God, even a toddler can make an enormous impact in a grown up when prompted, Saint Augustine was converted to Christianity by an action of a mere child, prompted though. So we don't need to worry too much about how a man conducts his own church for even when you are sure that yours is scriptural, how sure are you that God does not accept his'. In the nutshell, the only seemingly objective part of Christianity is the word of God and that is what a Christian should seek from whatever edifying source possible. Lets leave worrying about churches to those who jump from church to church for they are the ones in the danger of falling into wrong hands.

One advice I have for us is to becareful; we might actually be speaking against the Devil or against God. Secondly, salvation is not a group affair. Everyone is personally responsible for his own salvation, including pastor Mathew and TBJ, therefore everyone should strive for the salvation of his own soul and let TBJ worry about his'.

my one suggestion is;
why not take the Idomas from Benue State and the Igalas from Kogi State and merge them to become one state? These two people profess brotherhood to each other so much that you cannot readily differentiate an Idoma Man from an Igala man. Most timeS they understand each other and bear the same names. Why leave the Igalas with the Okuns and Igbiras with whom they have close to nothing in common? Again, why leave Idomas with the Tivs with whom they practically have nothing in common? And the case is, why the Idomas are practically diminished unto in existence in Benue State, the Igalas are excessively exerting to the point of arrogant dominance in Kogi State, bringing to mind the notion that they are making up for their brothers' predicament in Benue State. PLEASE MERGE THEM AND CREATE ATMOSPHERE FOR PEACE. Kogites, what do you say?
