Yea, that is how it should be. Nowadays, its no more. Christians call themselves 'born again' and see themselves as not liable for any sin committed. In fact they claim they cannot sin, even when they do. End time deception of the devil, destroying people's conscience, blinding them to reality and heading them to hell, just because of a phrase, born again. |
I no fit shout oh. Olumba don die abi e still dey? If e no die and e no dey, where him go? |
Qur'an:7:3 "Little do you remember My warning. How many towns have We destroyed as a raid by night? Our punishment took them suddenly while they slept for their afternoon rest. Our terror came to them; Our punishment overtook them." |
Ishaq:587 "Our onslaught will not be a weak faltering affair. We shall fight as long as we live. We will fight until you turn to Islam, humbly seeking refuge. We will fight not caring whom we meet. We will fight whether we destroy ancient holdings or newly gotten gains. We have mutilated every opponent. We have driven them violently before us at the command of Allah and Islam. We will fight until our religion is established. And we will plunder them, for they must suffer disgrace." Nopuquiter I guess there are some denials and tongue twisting to be done here. |
Nopuqeater, What part of the Bible (NT)said that? Was it a parable narrated by Jesus about another King (To extol faithfulness even in little things) or did Jesus actually commanded a man to be brought before him and slaughtered? ![]() Was the man brought before him and slaughtered? I await your answers my friend. |
Contrary to what some have alleged here, this is not a plot by GEJ to weaken the North's influence militarily, neither is it a plot for tribal aggrandizement on his part. Lets take a look at the appointees with material and men under their command; GOC 1 Div - Shoboiki, Westerner. GOC 2 Div - Abubakar, Northerner. GOC 3 Div - Idoko, Northerner. GOC 81 Div - Minima, Northerner. GOC 82 Div - Bello, Northerner. Commander, Army HQ Garrison - Nasamu, Northerner. Commander, Brigade of guards - Atawe, South Southerner. Even in the civil world, nobody is expected to remain in a particular position throughout his career and so, this is just reshufflement. Retiring a military is not as easy as we might think, Officer or Man, except for proven amilitary conduct. If anyone was retired, it should be because he is due for retirement, or he is not deployable by the limit of his training or experience compared to his rank and in comparison to those of the same rank available and no vacant post available for a person of his rank to hold, or he is senior to the present Chief of Army staff in which case, Military honour and pride unofficially demands that he should request for his own retirement. If there was a coup d'etat brewing up before now, this might also help to forestall it. Better proactive than reactive. If you are not close to a tree, you might know exactly what the wind does to it. |
Problem is, after you finish doing all the Charity work, you would never be appreciated. Well, as an elder brother, I consider my younger ones as my responsibility but beyond that, its just privilege. |
No part of the Vatican Library is restricted to researchers. No person of intergrity and standing has ever accused the Vatican of barring him access to those books. Copies of some of these books are in some important libraries all over the world. |
Do you believe in purgatory? Do you believe your prayers and deeds can save those in purgatory? Do you believe those in purgatory are awaiting hell or heaven? Do you believe purgatory is a place very close to hell? If believe then it would be easier to explain, if not, I believe your pastor would give you a more suitable explanation. I wish you God's favour in the understanding you seek. |
This boy's face doesn't look happy. Well, some magicians are pulling stunts and consider a boy of 8 most appropriate for it and to prove him indestructible, they chose only one of hands instead. The truth remains what it is. |
Naija, one wonders were all these Boko Haram people got their ideas from, Idiot wasting people's life. |
Very annoying! No points, just argument! Someone doesn't even know what a parable is, yet he claims an understanding of the Bible. |
Why not be specific, what secrets are they keeping? Have asked permission to be allowed into Vatican library and denied? |
Take it easy ![]() |
Mohammed grew up in a Fulani tribe and started rearing cattle when he was six years old. He did this for almost 10 years until he went to an Arabic school to study the Qur’an. Prior to this, Mohammed had learned about Islam from his father. After several years of schooling, he returned home. One night he had a frightening dream. He saw people along the roadside who were suffering. He entered a gate and people took him and beat him. Then he was locked in a room that was very hot. It was so hot that his flesh began to peel off his body. As he began screaming and trying to kick the door open, he woke up. He couldn’t sleep for the rest of the night. The next night, he had another dream. This time he was on a different road and he saw decaying bodies. He came to the same gate, was beaten and taken to the same room. His flesh was melting off his body when a man dressed in white appeared. Suddenly, the room became cold and the people who were beating him disappeared. The man stretched his hand out and held Mohammed’s hand, saying, “My son, what are you doing here? Do you want me to take you home?” Mohammed says, “Within a second I was back home and he said to me, ‘I love you, my son.’” Two weeks later, Mohammed had a third dream. He was in the bush and there was a deep hole in front of him and he didn’t know how to cross it. When he looked into the pit he became scared and thought he would probably fall in and die. He saw a man dressed in black walking quickly. This man told him that a lion was coming behind him (Mohammed) and that he should jump over the pit before the lion reached him. Mohammed could hear the lion’s roar. Just as he was about to jump, the man in white from his previous dream appeared in front of him and asked, “My son, where are you going?” The man in black disappeared and the lion’s roar stopped. Mohammed told the man in white that he was going home. He asked Mohammed if he wanted help. The man in white stretched his leg across the whole pit. As he did this, the hole closed and he told Mohammed to cross over and go home. When they were close to Mohammed’s house, the man said, “I love you, my son.” For the next six nights, Mohammed had similar dreams. Each time, he saw himself in different places and, regardless of where he was, the same man in white came and helped him. In the last dream (dream #9), Mohammed was sitting under a tree reading books that he couldn’t understand. The man in white (Jesus) was sitting beside him. He asked Mohammed what he was reading and Mohammed told him that he was trying to acquire knowledge. Jesus asked Mohammed if he wanted help and told him that he could show him specific things to read. Jesus took a book and said, “This book comes from the Lord and it has the message of God inside of it. In this book, I will show you verses which will help you.” Jesus read scriptures to Mohammed, including John 14:6, which says, “I am the way, the truth and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me.” He explained this to Mohammed and told him that He was the way and the Savior of the world. Jesus also told him that he would face many trials after becoming a Christian. He told Mohammed He wanted to be his Savior and explained that He was the man in Mohammed’s dreams, the man who had rescued him. When Jesus told Mohammed he wanted to give him salvation, and asked, “Do you accept?” Mohammed said yes and Jesus disappeared. The next day Mohammed went to meet a Christian acquaintance to tell him about this dream. This friend introduced him to some young men from another church and they led Mohammed to Christ. He told his parents that he was now a Christian. After several months, Mohammed’s father forced him to drink poison. He ordered men in the village to surround Mohammed so he couldn’t escape. Interestingly, two days earlier Jesus had appeared to Mohammed and told him that whatever difficulties he faced, He would make a way for him. Mohammed asked his father if he could pray before he swallowed the poison. He prayed, swallowed the poison, and went to bed. The next morning, to his father’s dismay, Mohammed was still alive. Later, his family tried to kill him by shooting him with a poisoned arrow. He spent a month in the hospital, but he survived this experience as well. After these attempts to end his life, his family tried other tactics to persuade him to leave Christianity. His father gave him a hundred cows and told him he could have three wives if he were to abandon the Christian faith. Eventually, Mohammed made his choice – but it was to leave the family home. He thanked his father for the cows and the offer of three wives and said, “You still have not met the needs that Jesus promised to meet. If you promise and agree to meet those needs, fine. Do you have means of giving me life forever?” His father said no. Mohammed told his father since he couldn’t provide eternal life, there was no way that he could leave Jesus Christ. A few years later, while on his deathbed, Mohammed’s father asked Mohammed for forgiveness and said he was ready to receive Jesus as his Savior. Mohammed led his father in the sinner’s prayer and three hours later, his father died. On one hand, the passing of his father was a sad event, but on the other hand, it was cause for rejoicing. Not only had father and son been reconciled with each other before Mohammed’s father left this world, but he left this world in peace, knowing that in the world to come, he would be with Jesus for all eternity, and—at some future date—be with his son again in heaven. |
Christians are a very foolish breed. No Church is allowed in Saudi Arabia yet there is a Mosque in the Vatican, I don't know what to call that. When they rise in their numbers and massacre Christians, we would say its political. When their brethren burn Churches and the Bible, no one would say anything, now a mad Pastor wants to burn the Quran and everyone is crying foul. We are not being tolerant, we just afraid to tell the truth. |
I feel like crying. Very arrogant Christians who cannot give correct interpretation to the gospel but claims they know all, and above all, Rejecting facts even when written in black and white, infusing philosophies to go hand in hand with doctrines. And this is a more attractive form of Christianity! So sad. Nairaland is quite revealing. |
Why would any right reasoning Nigerian Christian say he doesn't believe this? Is it not happening already? Please don't be foolish! Even you can't predict future, can't atleast observe the past and the present? Nonsense! I'm a northerner and a Christian, if we disregard this revelation, we are not worthy to be called sensible human beings. What have we not suffered? Is there any reason not to believe it? Don't be foolish!!!!!!! |
@Joagbaje Yea I'm. In spite of what you think a clown is, in African tradition, only a court clown can look at a king in the eye and tell him the bitter truth, laughing, and he can do nothing it. In this sense, yea, I'm. And I would tell you the truth like a clown, You are getting derailed completely. Nothing which tend or seem to have a seal of Pastor Oyakhilome on it is wrong to you, and you feel you must draw flawed inferences from the Holy and Sacred Bible. Please wake up your ideas. |
@Belabela Your knowledge is very scanty but you think its enough. You dwell on what you are told or made to believe and claim all sort of biased nonsenses. Wikipedia is only a readily accessible source containing these write ups and quotes. These write ups are still available, some in their original manuscripts in the Vatican library. They are also available in important libraries all over, if you care to find out. Quotes from these writings are also available in good encyclopedias like Brittanica and Americana. That a man wrote a book in this century and named it 'Pagan Christianity' has no serious implication. I too can write a book and name in line with my opinion. At the end, it boils down to acceptance and objectivity. Loosen up. |
Reverend Colin Coward, 65, a homosexual priest at St John the Baptist Church in Devizes, Wiltshire, England, has announced plans to marry his Nigerian male model boyfriend, Bobby Ikekhuame Egbele, 25. Mr. Egbele is a fashion designer and runs an online clothing shop, Bobafrique ( http://www.bobafrique.com/index.htm ), where he models clothes. Devizes has four Church of England parish churches, the oldest, St John the Baptist Church founded in 1130 and dedicated to St John the Baptist. The Church was stunned with Rev. Coward’s proclamation, because ordained homosexual clergy of Church of England are required to be celibate. Coward failed to reassure the Church he would remain celibate with the gay union. Coward lives with his gay fiancé in Marston, near Devizes and believes his marriage would set a “visible example” to other homosexuals within the church. Na so e don be oh, compromise. |
@Joagbaje You are completely getting derailed. Sad how truthful you think you are. |
Mine is Christ's turning of bread and wine to his body and blood and then commanding Christians to do same in memory of him! I believe the bread and wine blessed in the holy Eucharist is in communion with the body and blood of Christ and its the greatest miracle of all times. |
Take it or leave it, the only way out for Nigeria and her future generation is a people's revolution, and then, true federalism. Democracy in a country with decayed roots is a recyclement of corrupt leaders. Even if Obama is brought from US to come and rule us, the people will still suffer. The head can be as beautiful as ever but truth remains that its sitting on a decaying trunk with fully decayed roots! |

How does the Pope's staff which carries is a clear image of Jesus hanging on a cross resemble that of a long bearded man, standing, holding something in hand and a fish hanging from his side, how? You not just sincere. |
