This VO was jealous of the lady's accomplishment and status and confidence....VO looking for gaps to shut her down, and when she found it she never bothered to enquorw further for clarification or perharps other strengths that might overshadow a simple "change in plans" in the couple's itinerary.

Look, if i was this lady's fiancee i will rip the visa out of my passport and take vacation elsewhere. Spain is looking for touriats. Netherlands is looking for tourists.

I have told abnot that I had failed to see a lie in that case. I had only see a close-minded VO. Unfortunately there is no appeal for US visa. If it was a Canadian VO, this decision would be overturned under appeal.

Guys, one advice i'll want you all to take is the "do not lie factor". Just say things as they are and just answer the questions honestly and leave the rest to them. During my last interview there was a lady standing in front of me. Very smart looking and formally dressed . Her story was flowing well till the lies became glaring. Lady: (She describes her job role/ day-day activity which was very sweet) She had the fidelity scarf on her neck

LAdy: NO. I'm travelling with my fiancee
VO: Does your fiancee already have a visa
Lady: Yes he does
VO: Do you have a copy of the visa with you ?
Lady: Yes (she passes a photocopy of the fiancee's visa to the visa officer)
VO: When did you get engaged
LAdy: 8 months ago
VO: Your fiancee applied for his visa in February this year and he mentioned that he was travelling alone
Lady: she stammers and said the fiancee changed plans
VO: Your visa is not approved under section bla bla bla. He hands back her passport and a blue paper to her which I believe states the reason for denial.


She would have just been straight that way the VO would not have had any reason to suspect any foul play. I went there with the "whatever" attitude and didnt in any way make up stories. It was up to them to either issue me or not issue me

I truly failed to see the lie in this case.
She may have decided to join the fiance or just as she said the fiancee may have changed the plans.
All I see here is a close-minded VO.

But thanks anyway for sharing this experience that would surely help many people to be careful given that some VO can't think outside the box

Also people are talking about Canada but 14 Canadian Dollars is 11 USD and about £7.80 per hour.

What about rent, food travel?

The tax rate in Canada on taxable income is 15%, then 20.5% then 26% then top rate is 45.7%
There is also a 13% sales tax at the cash register and let's not forget paying for the health system through taxes just like most working countries in the West. There are probably a number of rates and taxes they pay for local amenities and the road infrastructure if they drive.


Also mansion is different from a house imho. The same way a Peugeot is different from a Porsche although they are both cars. The claim was about building mansions as the quoted comment says at the start of this thread.

Yeah we pay tax in Canada but we also get money back from the government.
In addition to that, we get a lot of free services. Free or subsidize education, free healthcare and so on.

We have no idea what prompted them to deny you the visa 3 times.
Maybe you were the reason why your wife was denied. So, if that is the case, applying alone won't help.
In essence, no one knows your chances.

So long as she travels before the visa expiry date there won't be any issue.
The visa expiry date doesn't determine how long you may be allow to stay in the US.
The visa exiry date only determines when can you present yourself at the POE.

The expiry date of the visa has nothing to do with the amount of time they will allow you to stay in the US.
The officer at the POE can give you six months stay which can be well beyond the expiry date of the visa.

If you read through the entire thread you will notice that even people with no prior travel history have been given US visa.

Possible but very difficult given that your immigrant file is an indication of the intent to immigrate.

There have been cases where people with immigrant application on file had been given non-immigrant visa

One doctor who was set on marrying a “none corrupted” wife from his home town he was introduced to one arranged for her to come to England she then made contact with her “ex” who was in America and while he was at work she flew to the US yes he had her visa cancelled, demanded the cost of the very elaborate wedding from the women’s family but that was punishing people who had nothing to do with their wayward daughter.

Did they tell you that your earlier visa was denied because of the reasons stipulated in your posts or you are just making an assumption?
How can you provide assumption on your new visa application which may not even be correct?
