Goons? @the greengooner. I think he means you o! Lol
Bros from the info u gave, I can deduce nothing except your lack of consistency in filled details and what u said.
Review all your applications. Did u lie/misrepresent in the earlier applications? Cos the man obviously read something that he found interesting.
Note: He returned the passport to you BEFORE the questions so u had already 'Failed' the interview Before it started.
So think about it

I don't think he meant me. As a matter of fact, I'm struggling to understand a word of what he's been saying.

The VO is gone but you can read up all 222 pages and you will surely find the answers you are looking for.

Good day Everyone
I am presently studying in Europe(last year of my masters programme) i wish to apply for a B1/B2 visa in lagos (appointment scheduled already), my cousin would send the invitation and he will also be sponsoring the trip.
my great concerns
1. Wont i be asked why didnt i apply from europe? Reason(short TRP validity), but i think its not advisable for me to say this, WHAT CAN I SAY?
2. What are the likely questions i would be asked?
3. What documents do i need to get from my cousin?
4. what documents do i need to prepare myself and take to the interview?

Please i need urgent and helpful responses
Thanks a bunch.

No need to post the same message twice.

1. Looks like you already know the answer. Nevertheless, read the thread.
2. We are not visa officers. Nevertheless, read the thread
3. What documents do you think you need? If in doubt, read the thread to find out what others that were successful presented.
4. You've already asked this question so please read the thread.

If you read at least 50 pages, you will have an answer to all your questions without recourse to anyone here.

I advise you to start from page 275.

So go on, read the thread. grin

A moniker like indomienoodles shows that you are not even serious to begin with.

If you don't know what you are going to do in the USA, you are halfway to a visa refusal.

Now I will ask again, what is your main purpose for visiting the USA.

Thanks boss

We'll actually be staying around Parker/Aurora axis. Just booked an apartment via airbnb.com

That's cool...I have a friend that owns a condo in Parker...not bad...

Look out for 16th Street mall...it's a fun place to shop in the centre of Denver but be careful on Colfax...that's all I'm saying.

Yeah, and continue blaming man-marking with unequal numbers.

Putting all things in perspective, we lost 6-0 playing with 10 men while we lost by only two well worked goals playing with 9 men. Does this mean we are much more defensively solid or were we just playing against a weaker Chelsea side. I was satisfied with the team’s performance and I think we defended well as a unit even when down to 9 men and give full credit to the boss for keeping the shape of the team.

While I stand with Gabriel, I believe that he too easily played into Diego Costa’s devilish trap. The Brazilian Spaniard, has perfected the art of pushing the boundaries of what is legal and acceptable and once again got away with his crazy antics. Personally, I feel an experienced referee like Mike Dean could have been more awake decisive and Costa should have been sent off for any of his first few offences before the Gabriel incident. I’m not giving excuses but there’s no way Chelsea win 2-0 with 11 men on the pitch. If Costa is sent off for either of his offences against Koscielny, we might actually have stood a chance in the game.

Thanks @LagosNIV. I'll be there for about 4-5months with my family. A friend in Atlanta told me its predominantly a no-go-area for colored skin folks. One can't be too careful. Thanks

Denver is very safe....I've been in Colorado several times and there is an active Nigerian community in Aurora.

Please pay no attention to your friend. Colorado is one of the most liberal states to visit.

While you're there try to visit the Red Rocks Amphitheater and the Broncos stadium. Also, look out for the cash register building in the skyline...you can't miss it.

Please I have a Ford Edge SUV SEL 2009 that the dealer installed a GPS/Reverse camera/Bluetooth unit for.

However, the unit keeps tripping off after 10 mins when playing music especially when I press the brake. Is it a problem with the installation or should I just go for a new unit.

Also, do you offer installation or is it just the units that you sell.

Thanks

I expect that it will be an edgy game but I believe anything short of a victory tonight will be disappointing for us given that we still have the double-header with Bayern Munich and Olympiacos away to think about.

I won’t hold my breath for a whitewash; a clean 2-0 win will do it just fine for me.

Commonwealth Scholarships for Master’s and PhD study – developing Commonwealth country citizens

Commonwealth Scholarships for Master’s and PhD study in the UK are offered for citizens of developing Commonwealth countries. These scholarships are funded by the UK Department for International Development (DFID), with the aim of contributing to the UK’s international development aims and wider overseas interests, supporting excellence in UK higher education, and sustaining the principles of the Commonwealth.

You can apply for a Commonwealth Scholarship for the following levels of study:
Master’s (one-year courses only)
PhD

All subject areas are eligible, although the CSC’s selection criteria give priority to applications that demonstrate the strongest relevance to development.

You should apply to study at a UK university with which the CSC has a part funding agreement.

Eligibility

To apply for these scholarships, you must:

Be a Commonwealth citizen, refugee, or British protected person

Be permanently resident in a developing Commonwealth country

Be available to start your academic studies in the UK by the start of the UK academic year in September/October 2016

By October 2016, hold a first degree of at least upper second class (2:1) honours standard, or a second class degree and a relevant postgraduate qualification (usually a Master’s degree)

The CSC promotes equal opportunity, gender equity, and cultural exchange. Applications are encouraged from a diverse range of candidates. The CSC is committed to administering and managing its scholarships and fellowships in a fair and transparent manner – for more information, see the CSC anti-fraud policy.

Terms and conditions

For full terms and conditions, see the Commonwealth Scholarships 2016 prospectus

Selection process

Each year, the CSC invites selected nominating bodies to submit a specific number of nominations. The deadline for nominating bodies to submit nominations to the CSC is 17 December 2015.

The CSC invites around three times more nominations than scholarships available – therefore, nominated candidates are not guaranteed to be awarded a scholarship. There are no quotas for scholarships for any individual country. Candidates nominated by national nominating agencies are in competition with those nominated by other nominating bodies, and the same standards will be applied to applications made through either channel.

Each nominated candidate’s application is first considered by a member of the CSC’s panel of advisers with expertise in the subject area concerned, and then by the CSC’s selection committee in competition with other candidates.

Applications are considered according to the following selection criteria:

Academic merit of the candidate

Quality of the proposal

Potential impact of the work on the development of the candidate’s home country

For further details, see the Selection criteria for 2016 Commonwealth Scholarships for Master’s and PhD study

You may also find the Feedback for unsuccessful candidates useful.

How to apply

You must apply to one of the following nominating bodies in the first instance – the CSC does not accept direct applications for these scholarships:

National nominating agencies – this is the main route of application.

Selected universities/university bodies, which can nominate their own academic staff.

Selected non-governmental organisations and charitable bodies

All applications must be made through your nominating body in your home country.

Each nominating body is responsible for its own selection process. You must check with your nominating body for their specific advice and rules for applying, and for their own closing date for applications.

The CSC does not impose any age limit on applicants, but nominating bodies may do so in line with their own priorities.

You must make your application using the CSC’s Electronic Application System (EAS).

Click below for full information on how to use the EAS, including detailed guides.

Your application must be submitted to and endorsed by one of the approved nominating bodies listed above.

The CSC will not accept any applications that are not submitted via the EAS to a nominating body in your home country.

All applications must be submitted by 23.59 (GMT) on 19 November 2015 at the latest. Please note that this is an earlier deadline than in previous years.

Enquiries?

All enquiries about these scholarships should be directed to your nominating body in your home country.

Oh, okay @curious thegreengooner: Kindly revert to 'our' first post, previous page, last paragraph in order to catch the drift, it was always there.... 'We' are both bringing in the input, it's now officially 'our' (m & f) handle here. Thanks, thanks.

NB: Any guide from your end?

You're over complicating your application. Start from the basics i.e. the fundamentals and build it up from them.

The purpose of your trip should justify your itinerary not the other way round. This your 'outside the box' approach is a first for me...keep it simple.

DebsMed:

Thanks lots Lady G and NanaF.... Aha! @LadyG, that's one major one you just drew my attention to now that makes the interview hurt me the more seeing there was no lead question to most of the directions that would have helped my case and I still feel the "outside the box approach" seems more suitable to deploy in lacing one's case (almost jettisoning that thought now though). Aside initially arriving and staying at his abode, It was part of our two weeks itinerary to enjoy an all expense paid trip to LA and/or Vegas for 5 days on our hosts expense depending on which was most convenient for us all but it was sure going to be one of both. Himself and family were to join us for the weekend, then we all return to their state to spend the remainder time together till we leave them for NY to pass two nights before coming back home to Naija. Well, there was neither an opportunity to express these either in the DS160 form or during the interview. The interview outcome did deflate my confidence at the time. I really don't want to go there "unarmed" or "unlectured" again, that's why I'm here (I go surely jack this thread finish before this year go finish, dem go hia my own wen I show dia again). Will fill and defend SELF as sponsor next time (even though hubby and friend will do the actual footing of my trip's bills). How about leaving hubby out of the trip this time (intend using him as "collateral" with the Embassy as I travel, lolzzzz)? But those visa approval determining factors they hide sha, it's not a good thing oh! Will come here to share my transcript soonest hopefully.... God bless thee!

Please did I miss out where you said you were married to a man? Your profile says (m)...just curious
