I have a little challenge.

So I did my bachelor's in a different country. When filling my visa form, I imputed my departure date from the country as the 19th of a a particular month.

But my stamped carries 20th of same month. What happened was the flight was meant to be 19th, but due to delays and immigration procedures, we had entered a new day which was 20th when my passport was stamped.

So do I write a cover letter to explain this and upload also.

Or is it something that's negligible.

Can documents be uploaded to my profile after I have submitted my application using self service. I am about to apply for my visa and I am yet to get approval for study leave from my employer. Can I submit my visa application and then attach the study leave approval before my biometric capture/interveiw date?

I know the United States doesn’t as they usually get advance pax manifests. So they already know who’s leaving.

I am not married yet but will do before leaving the country. I plan to file for my wife to come as soon as possible.
Do I need to indicate am married while filling forms now?
If no, how do I inform concerned authorities that my status has changed and I now have a dependent I want to bring in?
I will be married before leaving.. How can I update my information to capture this important part so my wife can come in?

Hi. Where did you fill the IOM data? Was it online or they gave you a form at the clinic? Why I'm asking is because whilst filling their form online, I did not see any where to input the UK address

But this 14 days thing is just crazy. Imagine being pumped up about being in a new country and boom you can’t even go out until after 14 days


It’s going to be a very different experience because it is practically house arrest.

Bro my accommodation contract starts in October but I was lucky to get an earlier date for my appointment, now I am thinking of traveling by late September if all things goes well. My problem now is that I entered my accommodation address on my application and also stating that I will be traveling by October. The plans now is to chill at my sister place in London before the start of my contract. I hope there won't be a problem at the POE?

Also can not mentioning the exact company you want to work after school (bsc) during the interview affect your chances of getting a visa?

That part of no2. Even after filling yes that I have been known with another name which I inputed. It only appeared as other given names while No still shows in that question asking if I have been known by another name which some persons here encountered same.

So what about me that rented an apartment because I have dependents, using the house address as my UK address does it calls for questioning?

they are in advanced counties than Nigeria and dts Y we keep disturbing them but truly its not easy for them overthere..
was chatting with ma gee dts working in u k and he said since this year he had send a total of 50,000 pounds to his family in Nigeria and he sounded asif he's being stressed..
i told him dt he should not worry and think abt it too much bcoz they are his family and dts the price he would pay for working there..

God help us. In the place to fill if you hve travelled to any other country in the last 10years we made an error by clicking no. I have written a letter of correction to state the countries visited and all the information about it and i intend to submit it with my application online. I hope this will not lead to a refusal?

I don’t think there’s a need for any of this. The application form asks for details of all the countries you’ve been to in the last ten years or so. Including dates. Once you fill that in, there is no real need to provide anything else. Bio data page of your previous passport if you must.

The form splits it into a select list of countries and then ‘all others’. Best to avoid going over the top.

It actually has two dimensions to it,

- Do I have to submit my old passport with the new one ?

- Do I have to print my old passport data page when submitting

which one are you saying No to?

Main applicant has her money (school fees and maintenance) in her own account while dependents (husband and children) keep their maintenance in husband account. Is this okay?
