TheLeakyTribe please repost the picture and details let them go to court and sue you.

Ridiculous!

Thanks a lot Justwise

I wasn't even the one who removed the photos. The whole thing is just hilarious.

For a critic to be constructive in his/her criticism, first he/she must try as much as possible to detach emotion and sentiment from the subject matter. On that note, I wish to say u are emotional hence u starts to go personal by praying that I should be attacked by armed robbers. I reject ur prayer not for fear of ur prayer coming to fruition in my life because I don't even believe them to be working and if they actually works, the likes of OBJ wouldn't have been alive. Let me also remind u something about the story. The law enforcement agency which is the police did everything and concludes that they cannot trace or fathomed any iota of truth or evidence that d girl stole the money and that's why they let her go. Pls note here I'm not trying to exonerate or legalise criminality. I don't really know if u are the victim but the extent of which the Op has taken the matter, she might become the hunter being the hunted. Pls always keep ur emotions in check so u don't act impulsively to issues and regret later for something u are suppose to win. Pls apologize to me for that ur emotional prayer u made for me and let me see u are matured and educated enough to handle technical issues both in verbal and written speech.( badmouthing not intended because it's not my style)

Hmmm oga the way you spoke about this one would have assumed that you were the IPO on duty.

To set the record straight there was no investigation besides the interrogation. The IPO pleaded for her to be released on bail because she believed her. The case was not even closed. After I updated her with the recent developments the IPO herself felt deceived.

Judge me however you want, but don't distort the story.

Please make sure you see this till the end. She must refund every single dime she stole from you, even if she has to sell her family in the process.

What you don't know is that 60% of Nigerians are thieves, so they always look for ways to justify stealing.

Please put that lady's picture back up. People need to be aware of a criminal running loose.

Thanks a lot.

I actually don't know what happened to the pictures

What stupid libel? The op should sue that police station. The law does not recognise charm/witchcraft bla bla bla bla! As law enforcers if they don't know this lil fact, they deserve to lose their jobs!!! They are all mad!

@Theleakytribe, go back to the police station and call them out. angry If you can get a lawyer, please do. The same mor.ons will release a rapist because of jazz. They need o be taught a lesson!

I've updated them actually. The IPO on duty that day was being sentimental, but she herself has continued the investigation. We all know the elements that constitute defamation whether libel or slander, and the key element is that it must be an untrue statement.

I have already sent out a whatsapp and BBM message out to people. Don't want anyone to get into such a trap.

Thanks a lot, I appreciate it. At least you are one of the few people on this thread who fully understand my situation at the time this happened and how much risk she put me at. People are so used to taking someone's patience for stupidity.

Am sure that we are not talking about 100k here ooo... Because the owner of this money was to use it for traveling. I just wish that the girl had stolen 2 thousand naira from a boutique or market and she would have been striped naked and burnt alive{whether she was under the influence of witchcraft or not}. Moreover, she agreed to stealing it. So why would she sue someone for stealing their money? Or has the law started pardoning thieves who are under the influence of witchcraft? Those of you calling the woman wicked are no different from the thief because given the same circumstances, I believe that you would behave worse.
My advice to the girl in question is that, next time she might not be so lucky with her witchcraft story.

Exactly! That was money we had saved and prepared for use on a medical trip. Money we got at black market rates because forex was not readily available.

Don't listen to the e-diots

I'm not listening to them oh! Me ke.

This girl was jazzed and she climbed to the top of drawers and searched inside an envelope, inside hand luggage behind lots of other boxes. The hand luggage that wasn't even part of my trip luggage. She must have searched the entire house that day to find it, because I personally didn't even know where it was hidden until after it happened.

So many other factors involved that showed she did this knowingly which was why the case wasn't closed in the first place.Imediately I became available to make my own statements she switched off her phone and cannot be reached.

When a person who was discharged on bail after admitting guilt subsequently refuses to show up for a meeting for fear of being re-arrested. Someone still comes to say she was innocent and jazzed, I guess she's still under the influence of the jazz.

Thank you all.

I'm not really moved by people calling me names. I'm doing this because I believe she planned and executed everything knowing my guard was down at that time.

This is not about getting the money back, this is about saving any innocent employers from going through the heartache she put me through at such a delicate time in my life. If this saves just one person then I'll be thankful.

That was the very first time she was in my room unsupervised, so she never really had any opportunity to steal before then. She only got that opportunity because I was very busy that day.

Her case is not closed with the police, they just haven't proceeded with it and she was bailed, not discharged or acquitted.

It can only be defamation if I've said anything untrue.I stand by my story 200%.

When people argue that she was jazzed simply because it was money that was stolen, would you quote jazz if it was my little babies that she took? Would it still be a pitiable matter?

If truly she was jazzed would she refuse to come to my house after agreeing to meet with me? Switch off her phone? Would her sister suddenly change the story, insult me and deny that her sister stole or claim I stole and framed her?

Would you much rather have me keep quiet, not post her pictures and then watch her do this to someone else? Would you be so forgiving if it happened to you?

This is a personal and 100% true story. Please help if you know this girl or know where she works or lives. Attached to this post are pictures of Blessing Anthony.

I employed Blessing Anthony in december 2015 as a househelp. She was very helpful around the house, resourceful and hardworking. She worked so well that I treated her as a member of my family. She seemed honest and straightforward at that time.

In March 2016 I was preparing to travel for medical purposes. She helped me run around to get some things I needed for my trip and I also made plans for her to go to catering school for the 3 months that I planned to be away from the country ( so she knew I was travelling and the length of time I would be away).

I was to travel on the 19th of march 2016. As I always did I called Blessing when I woke up that morning to alert her that I was awake and she could come to the main house (she stayed in the bq) but I noticed that her phone was switched off. She later came in and I asked her why her phone was off, she said it spoilt last night. I found it weird because I had spoken to her the previous day too, so I asked her to bring it so I could see what was wrong. 30 minutes later she stI'll hadn't returned,so I went to search for her and I found that she had left the doors open, the keys on the doors and she was not anywhere around. I confirmed from the security men that she had taken a bike and rushed out to 'run an errand'.

At this point I was upset, wondering why she would go out when she was supposed to be helping me pack my boxes and prepare for my trip that morning. I got back into the house and asked my husband to give me the money for my trip that he had kept in the house the day before. It was then that we discovered that she had taken the money. We drove out in opposition directions to try to find her but she was gone.

Later that night at about 10pm she returned to the house (I had travelled before she returned), she didn't know my husband wasn't going on the trip with me. God alone knows what she planned to do when she came back. She was arrested. She told the police that she had been jazzed and forced to steal the money from the house and bring it to certain people. I didn't believe the story but the Police people (ONIRU station) believed it and actually encouraged my husband to let her go because there was no way she would refund the money.

Let me clearly state here that i let it go at this time but when I spoke to her on the phone I told her I'd need to see her when I get back because I wanted to understand what truly happened and I couldn't with the time difference and all that.

I got back recently and contacted her, I asked her to come to the house to meet with me, she agreed to this but turned off the phone after the conversation.l haven't been able to reach her since then. I also called her elder sister who insulted me, called me names, claimed her sister never stole and even said I took the money and tried to frame her sister up. She has stopped taking my calls. The turn of events has made me eager to get to the root of this matter.

Please if anyone has seen this girl, or knows how she can be reached kindly contact me. More importantly do not employ her and be careful with who you employ no matter how nice they are.

This is stale. However its obvious it was a consented thing so no blames.

As long as a child is a minor they cannot give their consent to intercourse. A minor is a child below the age of 18 years. Yes a child. In saner countries no one would dare to post the picture of a child in this situation, how much more indicate that she was involved in this.

Hello house.
Pls can anyone help with information on how to get accomodation in Chicago?
Would appreciate any info on getting an apartment for 5wks in July.

It may be difficult to find an apartment for 5 weeks outside of airbnb or an extended stay hotel. I haven't been to Chicago but I know in Dallas theye rarely lease out for less than 2 months except for the fully furnished apartments which are pricey. An extended stay hotel may be your best bet and you can get good deals depending on when exactly you're going. I know Candlewood suites is an extended stay kind of place and they have most things you use in a home , a decent kitchen in the room with a fridge and all. I've stayed there a number of times. If you choose that option call them to negotiate an extended stay price and also ask for the tax free stay granted for hotel stays longer than 30 days.

The infant ticket is calculated as 10% of the cost of your ticket as at purchase time. Ie if you bought your return ticket at $1,200 dollars, your infant ticket for emirates would be 10% of $600 dollars which is $60. Mine was $69. This is for a lap infant though, if you're buying a seat for an infant it's a different story but there's really no need to buy a seat for a newborn.

I would like to thank everyone on this thread for their support through my second missionary journey, for keeping me entertained and for helping with solutions whenever needed. I returned to naija on Tuesday evening. It has been God all the way. I will share my testimony though this may be a long read (bear with me)

This pregnancy was a tough one for me and I thank God for how it all ended in praise. In the first 3 months I was bleeding and on weekly injections to sustain the pregnancy due to multiple uterine fibroids. At 11 weeks several doctors advised that I put in a cerclage to help me carry to term. Two days before I was to get the cerclage, my then 18 month old suffered 2nd degree burns in an accident and was admitted at the hospital for 3 weeks. I told God please spare my son's life, this one that I've known and nurtured, if you must take one, let it be the one in my womb. I didn't get the cerclage and I managed till January and everything normalised. Only rotimi get to the US and hear again about spots on the baby's heart from an ultrasound. The devil tried to frustrate me throughout but God was there every step of the way.

Labour and delivery.

I stayed with my friend who I also stayed with during my first missionary journey because we both have toddlers of the same age and were able to help each other and also keep the toddlers entertained. She went into Labour first on a Monday night, gave birth Tuesday morning. So I was home alone with the kids, and that very Tuesday at midnight I went into labour. I had to manage till morning when her aunty came to help me with the kids. So while in labour I waited for the kids to wake at 8am, fed and bathed them and arranged their things so her aunty would have an easy time. I then left for the hospital at 11am in an uber cab haha! The driver was so worried when I was screaming in pain. Got to the hospital and the doctor said my contractions were so strong that my uterus could have ruptured while I was at home, but my cervix was still at 4cm despite all the hours so i was wheeled into the OR and had my baby(repeat C.S).

Bills etc

Had my baby at Texas Presbyterian hospital Plano.

Vaginal birth- 4,200
C.section - 5,900

Doctors fee - Northlake Obgyn

Vaginal -2,000
C-section- 2,900

Epidural- us anesthesia partners

Vaginal-1,500
C-section - 1,260

(Yes c.s is cheaper for epidural)

Pediatrician charged 180 for in patient visits and subsequently charged 140 or so(for 2 post hospital visits).

Took 3 weeks to get all documents, had my baby 11th May and I'm home in Naija now.

Final testimony was emirates,we had 7 boxes( all overweight 2.5kg sef ) we were entitled to 6 boxes of 23 kg each plus car seat and stroller for two infants. They checked in all 7 boxes plus car seat, stroller and bassinet, we weren't charged anything, and luggage arrived safely. That was God again.

God bless you all.

Was your son 2 Years at the time?

Just use the booking confirmation number and your surname to manage the booking on their website. This is best done shortly after you book, it gives you the option to choose seats. For both flights choose seats that no one else is beside you yet then start to monitor. It helps to be as close as possible to the restroom so keep this in mind.

That's why I said you should sleep well ahead of the flight cos you may need to play with her and run small.

He was 21 months at the time.

Hey dear,

Have you tried distracting her with a tablet and all their kids videos? That's partly what saved me on this trip with my son. I also flew Emirates and the stress no be here. Didn't buy a seat for him cos to me na waste of money. For one thing toddlers are clingy and would rather stress you and hug you and sleep on your chest and for another, there's always an empty seat I can use on the flight jare. ( I generally pick my seat shortly after getting the ticket then monitor the flight seating till the day of the flight, if someone picks a seat beside me, I ask at the counter during check in whether there's an empty seat I can use so I don't stress other passengers haha! Works everytime.)

So charge your tablets and load kids educative videos on it. Additionally use the inflIght entertainment to distract her, they have a lot of kids shows on ICE.

If you choose to go on this flight try to sleep well ahead of the flight and make sure the moment you get off the plane for your layover you try to get your toddler to play. Run around and all that cos it'll make the second leg easier for you.

Greetings everyone. Am new here and I would want concrete and sincere advise. I was given a 2year us visa. I intend to give birth there, even though I didn't tell the VO because I was not asked. But then I want to leave the country in my 4th month, reason being that I heard pregnant women are turned back at the point of entry if their stomach are too obvious. This is my 4th pregnancy so my stomach is already quite big at the 3rd month. I want to know if I need to report to the embassy of my intention to give birth there, or just go ahead and stay there for 5months, birth and come bk. Will there be consequences? I intend birthing in Queens NY, can anyone give me a contact of affordable hospital in that area? And accommodation since I'll be spending some time there?

Madam the madam.

Have you been reading this thread? It's amazing that people keep asking this kind of questions here oh.

Please read and inform yourself, knowledge is power. People on this forum have had their visas cancelled for doing what you intend to do.

To further the deceit you even want to go there at 4 months and then wait 5 months to have the baby.

How do you intend to fund this long trip? Or you have no plans of paying for your healthcare? If you truly intend to pay sha how do you intend to do that? E be like you get money oh.

You also intend to wait 5 months to have your baby which means there's a chance that you'll even extend beyond the 6 months that you're likely to be stamped in for. I hail oh!

Finally are you leaving your 3 older kids behind for the 5 -6 months or you intend to also travel with them? You must really get money oh!

I hail you.

Na hail I dey hail you sha, make you no vex.

Hello mamac and papas finally my little angle has arrived I want to thank each and everyone of you that has contributed to this forum. my story. Work up early hours of the 23rd of May to peeonly to find out I was peeing blood, told my mum and she said it was time to go to the hospital.

On getting there I was checked in. Baby and mother where both doing well but mother was not not dilated. I was still 2cm after 24hours my doctor had to out me on meds to help with the dilating. So my mum and I started to pary finally I was 4cm but the meds was not good for the baby as his heart rate was droping drestically. Do y doctor said we would have to do a CS my face dropped was unhappy about this as I had budgeted for VD. Mind you baby was still at risk we both where.

Finally my mum told me it's the will of God. To cut the story short my baby came yesterday he weighed 6.25 pound and is very healthy. Mother is still under recovery. I just want to thank God for my life and that of my baby because we where both at full risk.

My only worry is this bill but am sure God will do it again for me. Help me thank God everyone.

Congratulations latest mummy. Trust God he'll provide.

See ehn this story you shared is the exact way my first child's birth went. The only difference being that I dilated till 9cm and stopped dilating. The Pitocin caused my son's heart rate to drop each time it was administered and I had used epidural so there was no option of walking around to speed things up. I also developed high blood pressure in the final moments. I ended up having a CS.

I automatically got an additional 1,500 hospital bill, 900 for the doctor. We had prepaid for Vaginal delivery. We were low on cash because being our first child qe had shopped the whole Dallas and shipped to Naija, haha!

We prayed for Gods provision. Guess what. Immediately my husband shared the news that our son had been born, one of his friends called and said 'I know you won't remember this but I've been owing you this $1,500 since I left naija, I just feel you'll need it now'. In truth my husband had forgotten. That was how we paid the outstanding hospital bill. The remaining $900 we paid from cash gifts people brought while we were still in the hospital oh. We left with our full receipts and zero balance.

CassyO the God who did it for me will do it for you. Worry not, pray instead.I can't wait to hear your testimony. God will cause your helpers to locate you at this time IJN.

This thread may not be of much use to you if you don't try to read up at least a little. I understand that you want to get information but the easiest way is to read up.
