Uche built a name and 'carrier' for herself,so why 'attact' her?
She has every right to agree or disagree? What kind of argument is this? Don't I have a right to disagree with her?
What are you on about?
If you don't understand the issues why mention my moniker? My Wuraola indeed!

And again feminism surport‘s the choice of women to be whatever they want to be

So being sex dolls, cry babies is actually feminism grin

I disagree.
My idea of women's rights, which I have always fought for is that women who exhibit self esteem and self respect will earn the respect of their men.
Present yourself how you want to be addressed. It is not rocket science.

Uche should start from her constituency,NOLLYWOOD,where women are used as glorified sex objects. The women in Bollywood films are depicted as senseless cry babies in high heels with no brains. Women in Nollywood are depicted as brainless sex objects. Women in Nollywood are depicted as gold diggers who rise to the top through their bodies or through their husbands and never through their talent.
Visit the Nollywood films on YouTube to see how our women are showcased. The musical videos of our top artistes are even worst where semi clad girls prance around half clad depicted as brainless bimbos, only good at twerking their massive backsides for men!
Women must respect themselves, display dignity and have self esteem, and then and only then will men respect us and grant us the equality that we deserve!

Politics / Re: General Buhari Must Visit Compt General Of Customs Dikko Inde's House: by TheMadame(f): 6:06pm On Jun 18, 2016
I was even talking about the Palatial mansion Mr Dikko built in his home state of Katsina. I did not know of the two billion mansion he built in Abuja.
Just yesterday a friend told me that I need to see the house he built in Kaduna state,he said the Kaduna house is two times the size of the house in Katsina State!
It seems corruption drives the perpetrators mad. What will one individual do with so many insane mansions that are not up for rent?
Can he live in two mansions at once?
Dikko is a kleptomaniac of the highest order. I pray he rots in jail.

Sadly, this APC government's lies are so infantile, that they are embarrassing to everyone that voted for them in the last general elections.
As far as I am concerned the APC government has proven that their best policies are worst than the poorest PDP policies.
All I can say is that we are in a government that is applying archaic and medieval economic policies in an internet age.
Everything revolves around one man who thinks he knows it all, when in fact he knows nought.
This is a confirmed one chance bus but you know what 2019 is just around the corner....when we will do the needful...

Guitar kings.

Prince was inducted into the Rock N Roll Hall of Fame in 2004. There was a tribute to the Beatles' George Harrison at that same ceremony and some of the greatest guitarists came on stage to perform While My Guitar Gently Weeps. Prince stole the show.

On stage: Eric Clapton, Tom Petty, Steve Winwood, Jeff Lyne, PRINCE, etc.

e was widely regarded as the pioneer of Minneapolis sound . His music combined rock , R&B , soul , funk , hip hop , disco , psychedelia , jazz , and pop .
Prince was born in Minneapolis , Minnesota , and developed an interest in music at an early age, writing his first song at age seven. After recording songs with his cousin's band 94 East , 19-year-old Prince recorded several unsuccessful demo tapes before releasing his debut album For You in 1978, under the guidance of manager Owen Husney. His 1979 album Prince went platinum due to the success of the singles " Why You Wanna Treat Me So Bad? " and " I Wanna Be Your Lover ". His next three records— Dirty Mind (1980), Controversy (1981), and 1999 (1982)—continued his success, showcasing Prince's trademark of prominently sexual lyrics and incorporation of elements of funk, dance, and rock music. In 1984, he began referring to his backup band as
The Revolution and released Purple Rain , which served as the soundtrack to his film debut of the same name. A prolific songwriter, Prince in the 1980s wrote songs for and produced work by many other acts, often under pseudonyms.
After releasing the albums Around the World in a Day (1985) and Parade (1986), The Revolution disbanded and Prince released the critically acclaimed double album Sign "O" the Times (1987) as a solo artist. He released three more solo albums before debuting The New Power Generation band in 1991. He changed his stage name in 1993 to an unpronounceable symbol ( ), also known as the "Love Symbol". He then began releasing new albums at a faster pace to remove himself from contractual obligations to
Warner Bros. ; he released five records between 1994 and 1996 before signing with Arista Records in 1998. In 2000, he began referring to himself as "Prince" again. He released 15 albums since then, including his latest,
HITnRUN Phase One, which was first released exclusively on the Tidal streaming service on September 7, 2015 [1][2][3] before being released on CD on September 15, 2015 by NPG Records. [4][4][5]
Prince sold over 100 million records worldwide, making him one of the best-selling artists of all time .[6] He won seven Grammy Awards ,[7] a
Golden Globe ,[8] and an Academy Award. [9] He was inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in 2004, the first year of his eligibility. [10]
Rolling Stone has ranked Prince at number 27 on its list of the 100 Greatest Artists of All Time. [11]
He died at his Paisley Park recording studio and home in Chanhassen, Minnesota, near Minneapolis, on April 21, 2016, after suffering
flu-like symptoms for about two weeks prior to his death. [12]
Early life
Prince was born Prince Rogers Nelson [13][14] in Minneapolis , Minnesota, the son of Mattie Della (Shaw) and John Lewis Nelson .[15] His parents were both African-American [15] and his family ancestry is centered in Louisiana, with all four of his grandparents hailing from that state.
[16][17] Prince's father was a pianist and songwriter and his mother was a jazz singer. Prince was named after his father, whose stage name was Prince Rogers, and who performed with a jazz group called the Prince Rogers Trio. In a 1991 interview with A Current Affair, Prince's father said, "I named my son Prince because I wanted him to do everything I wanted to do". [18] Prince's childhood nickname was Skipper. [19]
In an interview, Prince told Tavis Smiley that he was "born epileptic" and "used to have seizures" when he was young. During the interview, he also said: "My mother told me one day I walked in to her and said, 'Mom, I'm not going to be sick anymore,' and she said, 'Why?' and I said, 'Because an angel told me so'." [20]
Prince's sister Tika Evene (usually called Tyka) was born in 1960. [21] Both siblings developed a keen interest in music, and this was encouraged by their father. [22] Prince wrote his first tune, "Funk Machine", on his father's piano when he was seven. [22] When Prince was ten years old, his parents separated. Prince repeatedly switched homes following the separation, sometimes living with his father and sometimes with his mother and stepfather. [22] Finally, he moved into the home of neighbors named the Andersons and befriended their son Andre Anderson, who later became known as
André Cymone .[23]
Prince and Anderson joined Prince's cousin Charles Smith in a band called Grand Central while they were attending Minneapolis's Central High School. Smith was later replaced by Morris Day on the drums. Prince played piano and guitar for the band, which performed at clubs and parties in the Minneapolis area. Grand Central later changed its name to Champagne and started playing original music influenced by
Sly and the Family Stone , James Brown, Earth, Wind & Fire , Miles Davis , George Clinton and
Parliament-Funkadelic , Carlos Santana , Jimi Hendrix , and Todd Rundgren .[24] Rock critics have noted similarities between Prince's later androgynous look, music and vocal style and that of Little Richard . [25][26][27]
Prince also played basketball in high school, and continued to play it for recreation as an adult, which later inspired a famous Dave Chappelle sketch. [28]
Career
1975–84: Beginnings and breakthrough
In 1975, Pepe Willie, the husband of Prince's cousin, Shauntel, formed the band 94 East with Marcy Ingvoldstad and Kristie Lazenberry. Willie hired André Cymone and Prince to record tracks with 94 East. Those songs were written by Willie and Prince contributed guitar tracks. Prince also co-wrote, with Willie, the 94 East song, "Just Another Sucker". The band recorded tracks which later became the album
Minneapolis Genius – The Historic 1977 Recordings . Prince also recorded, but never released, a song written by Willie, "If You See Me" (also known as, "Do Yourself a Favor"wink. In 1995, Willie released the album 94 East featuring Prince, Symbolic Beginning , which included original recordings by Prince and Cymone. [citation needed ]
In 1976, Prince created a demo tape with producer Chris Moon in Moon's Minneapolis studio. Unable to secure a recording contract, Moon brought the tape to Owen Husney, a Minneapolis businessman. Husney signed Prince, at the age of 17, to a management contract and helped Prince create a demo recording at Sound 80 Studios in Minneapolis using producer/engineer David Z. The demo recording, along with a press kit produced at Husney's ad agency, resulted in interest from several record companies including Warner Bros. Records, A&M Records, and Columbia Records. [citation needed ]
With the help of Husney, Prince signed a recording contract with Warner Bros.. The record company agreed to give Prince creative control for three albums and ownership of the publishing rights. [29][30] Husney and Prince then left Minneapolis and moved to Sausalito , California where Prince's first album, For You, was recorded at Record Plant Studios . Subsequently, the album was mixed in Los Angeles and released on April 7, 1978. [31] According to the For You album notes, Prince produced, arranged, composed and played all 27 instruments on the recording. The album was written and performed by Prince, except for the song " Soft and Wet " which had lyrics co-written by Moon. The cost of recording the album was twice Prince's initial advance. Prince used the Prince's Music Co. to publish his songs. "Soft and Wet" reached No. 12 on the
Hot Soul Singles chart and No. 92 on the
Billboard Hot 100 . The song "Just as Long as We're Together " reached No. 91 on the Hot Soul Singles chart.
Ticket to Prince's first performance with his band in January 1979
In 1979, Prince created a band that included André Cymone on bass, Dez Dickerson on guitar, Gayle Chapman and Doctor Fink on keyboards, and Bobby Z. on drums. Their first show was at the Capri Theater on January 5, 1979. Warner Bros. executives attended the show but decided that Prince and the band needed more time to develop his music. [32] In October 1979, Prince released a self-titled album, Prince , which was No. 4 on the Billboard
Top R&B/Black Albums charts, and No. 22 on the Billboard 200 , going platinum. It contained two R&B hits: " Why You Wanna Treat Me So Bad? " and " I Wanna Be Your Lover ". "I Wanna Be Your Lover" sold over a million copies, and reached No. 11 on the Billboard Hot 100, and No. 1 for two weeks on the Hot Soul Singles chart. Prince performed both these songs on January 26, 1980, on American Bandstand . On this album, Prince used Ecnirp Music – BMI . [33]
In 1980, Prince released the album, Dirty Mind, which he recorded in his own studio. The album was certified gold and the attendant single " Uptown " reached No. 5 on the Billboard Dance chart and No. 5 on the Hot Soul Singles charts. Prince was also the opening act for Rick James' 1980 Fire It Up tour. Dirty Mind contained sexually explicit material, including the title song, " Head ", and the song "Sister". In February 1981, Prince made his first appearance on Saturday Night Live , performing "Partyup". In October 1981, Prince released the album, Controversy . He played several dates in support of it, at first as one of the opening acts for the Rolling Stones , who were then on tour in the US. He began 1982 with a small tour of college towns where he was the headlining act. The songs on Controversy were published by
Controversy Music [34] – ASCAP , a practice he continued until the Emancipation album in 1996. Controversy also marked the introduction of Prince's use of abbreviated spelling, such as spelling the words you as U , to as 2 , and for as
4 , as indicated by the inclusion of the track "Jack U Off". (His earlier song titles had used conventional spelling.) [35] By 2002, MTV.com noted that "[n]ow all of his titles, liner notes and Web postings are written in his own shorthand spelling, as seen on 1999's Rave Un2 the Joy Fantastic , which featured 'Hot Wit U.'" [36]
In 1981, Prince formed a side project band called the Time. The band released four albums between 1981 and 1990, with Prince writing and performing most of the instrumentation and backing vocals (sometimes credited under the pseudonyms "Jamie Starr" or "The Starr Company"wink, with lead vocals by Morris Day .[37]
[38] In late 1982, Prince released a double album, 1999 , which sold over three million copies. [39] The title track was a protest against
nuclear proliferation and became his first top ten hit in countries outside the US. Prince's " Little Red Corvette " was one of the first two videos by a black artist played in heavy rotation on MTV, along with Michael Jackson's " Billie Jean ". [40] The song "Delirious " also placed in the top ten on the Billboard Hot 100 chart.
1984–87: The Revolution, Purple Rain and subsequent releases
During this period Prince referred to his band as the Revolution . The band's name was also printed, in reverse, on the cover of 1999 inside the letter "I" of the word "Prince". The band consisted of Lisa Coleman and Doctor Fink on keyboards, Bobby Z. on drums, Brown Mark on bass, and Dez Dickerson on guitar. Jill Jones, a backing singer, was also part of The Revolution line up for the 1999 album and tour. Following the 1999 Tour , Dickerson left the group for religious reasons. In the 2003 book Possessed: The Rise and Fall of Prince , author Alex Hahn says that Dickerson was reluctant to sign a three-year contract and wanted to pursue other musical ventures. Dickerson was replaced by
Wendy Melvoin, a childhood friend of Coleman. At first the band was used sparsely in the studio but this gradually changed during the mid-1980s. [ citation needed ]
Prince's 1984 album Purple Rain sold more than 13 million copies in the US and spent 24 consecutive weeks at No. 1 on the Billboard 200 chart. The film of the same name won an
Academy Award and grossed more than $80 million in the US. [41]
Prince performing in Brussels during the Hit N Run Tour in 1986
Songs from the film were hits on pop charts around the world, while "When Doves Cry" and " Let's Go Crazy " reached No. 1 and the title track reached No. 2 on the Billboard Hot 100. At one point in 1984, Prince simultaneously had the No. 1 album, single, and film in the US; it was the first time a singer had achieved this feat. [42] Prince won the Academy Award for
Best Original Song Score for Purple Rain , and the album is ranked 72nd Rolling Stone' s 500 Greatest Albums of All Time. [43] The album is included on the list of Time magazine's All-Time 100 Albums. [44] After Tipper Gore heard her 12-year-old daughter Karenna listening to Prince's song " Darling Nikki", she founded the
Parents Music Resource Center .[45] The center advocates the mandatory use of a warning label (" Parental Advisory: Explicit Lyrics"wink on the covers of records that have been judged to contain language or lyrical content unsuitable for minors . The recording industry later voluntarily complied with this request. [46] Of what is considered the Filthy Fifteen Prince's compositions appear no. 1 and no. 2, with the fourth position occupied by his protégée Vanity.
[47]
In 1985, Prince announced that he would discontinue live performances and music videos after the release of his next album. His subsequent recording Around the World in a Day held the No. 1 spot on the Billboard 200 for three weeks. In 1986 his album Parade reached No. 3 on the Billboard 200 and No. 2 on the R&B charts. The first single, "Kiss ", with the video choreographed by Louis Falco, reached No. 1 on the Billboard Hot 100. The song was originally written for a side project called
Mazarati . That same year the song " Manic Monday", which was written by Prince and recorded by The Bangles, reached No. 2 on the Hot 100 chart. The album Parade served as the soundtrack for Prince's second film, Under the Cherry Moon. Prince directed and starred in the movie, which also featured Kristin Scott Thomas. He received the Golden Raspberry Award for his efforts in acting and directing. [48]
In 1986, Prince began a series of sporadic live performances called the Hit n Run – Parade Tour . After the tour Prince abolished The Revolution, fired Wendy & Lisa and replaced
Bobby Z. with Sheila E. Brown Mark quit the band while keyboardist Doctor Fink remained. Prince then recruited new band members Miko Weaver on guitar, Atlanta Bliss on trumpet, Eric Leeds on saxophone, Boni Boyer on keyboards,
Levi Seacer, Jr. on bass and dancer Cat Glover . [citation needed ]
1987–91: Solo again, Sign "O" the Times and spiritual rebirth
Prior to the disbanding of The Revolution, Prince was working on two separate projects, The Revolution album Dream Factory and a solo effort, Camille . [49] Unlike the three previous band albums, Dream Factory included significant input from the band members and even featured a number of songs with lead vocals by Wendy & Lisa, [49] while the Camille project saw Prince create a new persona primarily singing in a speeded-up, female-sounding voice. With the dismissal of The Revolution, Prince consolidated material from both shelved albums, along with some new songs, into a three-LP album to be titled Crystal Ball .[50] Warner Bros. forced Prince to trim the triple album to a double album and Sign "O" the Times was released on March 31, 1987. [51]
The album peaked at No.6 on the Billboard 200 albums chart. [51] The first single, " Sign o' the Times ", would chart at No. 3 on the Hot 100.
[52] The follow-up single, "If I Was Your Girlfriend " charted poorly at No. 67 on the Hot 100, but went to No.12 on R&B chart. [52] The third single, a duet with Sheena Easton, " U Got the Look" charted at No. 2 on the Hot 100, No. 11 on the R&B chart, [52] and the final single " I Could Never Take the Place of Your Man " finished at No.10 on Hot 100 and No.14 on the R&B chart. [52]
Despite receiving the greatest critical acclaim of any album in Prince's career, including being named the top album of the year by the Pazz & Jop critics' poll, and eventually selling 3.2 million copies, album sales steadily declined. [53] In Europe it performed well, and Prince promoted the album overseas with a lengthy tour. Putting together a new backing band from the remnants of The Revolution, Prince added bassist Levi Seacer, Jr., Boni Boyer on keyboards, and dancer/choreographer Cat Glover to go with new drummer Sheila E. and holdovers Miko Weaver, Doctor Fink, Eric Leeds, Atlanta Bliss, and the Bodyguards (Jerome, Wally Safford, and Greg Brooks) for the Sign o' the Times Tour .
The tour was a success overseas, with Warner Bros. and Prince's managers wanting to bring it to the US to resuscitate sagging sales of Sign "O" the Times ;[54][55] Prince balked at a full US tour, as he was ready to produce a new album.
[54] As a compromise the last two nights of the tour were filmed for release in movie theaters. The film quality was deemed subpar and reshoots were performed at his Paisley Park studios. [54] The film Sign o' the Times was released on November 20, 1987. Much like the album, the film garnered more critical praise than the previous year's Under the Cherry Moon , but its box-office receipts were minimal and it quickly left theaters. [55]
The next album intended for release was to be
The Black Album . [56] More instrumental and funk and R&B themed than recent releases,[57]
The Black Album also saw Prince experiment with hip hop music on the songs "Bob George" and "Dead on It". Prince was set to release the album with a monochromatic black cover with only the catalog number printed, but after 500,000 copies had been pressed, [58] Prince had a spiritual epiphany that the album was evil and had it recalled.[59] It would later be released by Warner Bros. as a limited edition album in 1994. Prince went back in the studio for eight weeks and recorded Lovesexy .
Released on May 10, 1988, Lovesexy serves as a spiritual opposite to the dark The Black Album . [60] Every song is a solo effort by Prince, with exception of "Eye No" which was recorded with his backing band at the time, dubbed the "Lovesexy Band" by fans. Lovesexy would reach No. 11 on the Billboard 200 and No. 5 on the R&B albums chart.[61] The lead single, " Alphabet St. ", peaked at No. 8 on the Hot 100 and No. 3 on the R&B chart,[51] but finished with only selling 750,000 copies.[62]
Prince again took his post-Revolution backing band (minus the Bodyguards) on a three leg, 84-show Lovesexy World Tour ; although the shows were well received by huge crowds, they lost money due to the expensive sets and incorporated props. [63][64]
Prince performing during his Nude Tour in 1990
In 1989, Prince appeared on Madonna's studio album Like a Prayer , co-writing and singing the duet "Love Song" and playing electric guitar (uncredited) on the songs " Like a Prayer ", " Keep It Together ", and "Act of Contrition". He also began work on a number of musical projects, including Rave Unto the Joy Fantastic and early drafts of his Graffiti Bridge film,[65][66] but both were put on hold when he was aske

RIP to one of the most talented musicians ever. He could play over twenty different musical instruments. He was a producer/song writer/arranger/lead vocalist/background vocalist.
I remember that as a kid in the eighties, when I first heard the single,"I wanna be your lover" and when I saw the single realising that the song was written/performed/produced/arranged and both vocals and back ground vocals were done by only Prince. I was completely blown away. And for your information this was his debut single!
I believe Prince was 18 years old when that single was released.
I also believe he was the first artist given this unique privellege by his record company Warner brothers.
If you have never heard this song before please goggle it to understand this unique talent. I repeat,Prince played all the instruments on that song,he produced and arranged all the music, while providing Vocals as well as background vocals.
He also brought out groups like the Time and Vanity 6.
Such a great talent. RIP.

This is a national embarrassment and until we the people rise as one and protest against these elected politicians this injustice will continue. This area has a member of the state assembly,it has a Representative in the house of reps,it has a senator, and the state has a governor?
We the citizens must hold our elected politicians accountable and if they refuse to be accountable a vote them out of office!
This is really depressing.
We as a people have been denied our basic rights for so long by the divide and rule tactics of these politicians. Get hold of the phone numbers of your representatives and bombard them with calls. We elected them. They are supposed to serve us.

However for Mr Shakara to get justice,he has to get rid of the "charge and bail" lawyer, who helped him compose this disjointed and poorly written petition. Could this petition really have been written by a lawyer?
My sincere advice, get yourself a competent and seasoned lawyer, because you will never win a case with the lawyer you have got currently.

The pagan roots of Easter
Heather McDougall
From Ishtar to Eostre, the roots of the resurrection story go deep. We should embrace the pagan symbolism of Easter
.

E aster is a pagan festival. If Easter isn't really about Jesus, then what is it about? Today, we see a secular culture celebrating the
spring equinox , whilst religious culture celebrates the resurrection. However, early Christianity made a pragmatic acceptance of ancient pagan practises, most of which we enjoy today at Easter. The general symbolic story of the death of the son (sun) on a cross (the constellation of the
Southern Cross ) and his rebirth, overcoming the powers of darkness, was a well worn story in the ancient world. There were plenty of parallel, rival resurrected saviours too.
The Sumerian goddess Inanna , or Ishtar, was hung naked on a stake, and was subsequently resurrected and ascended from the underworld. One of the oldest resurrection myths is Egyptian
Horus . Born on 25 December, Horus and his damaged eye became symbols of life and rebirth.
Mithras was born on what we now call Christmas day, and his followers celebrated the spring equinox. Even as late as the 4th century AD, the
sol invictus , associated with Mithras, was the last great pagan cult the church had to overcome.
Dionysus was a divine child, resurrected by his grandmother. Dionysus also brought his mum, Semele, back to life.
In an ironic twist, the Cybele cult flourished on today's Vatican Hill. Cybele's lover Attis, was born of a virgin, died and was reborn annually. This spring festival began as a day of blood on Black Friday, rising to a crescendo after three days, in rejoicing over the resurrection. There was violent conflict on Vatican Hill in the early days of Christianity between the Jesus worshippers and pagans who quarrelled over whose God was the true, and whose the imitation. What is interesting to note here is that in the ancient world, wherever you had popular resurrected god myths, Christianity found lots of converts. So, eventually Christianity came to an accommodation with the pagan Spring festival. Although we see no celebration of Easter in the New Testament, early church fathers celebrated it, and today many churches are offering "sunrise services" at Easter – an obvious pagan solar celebration. The date of Easter is not fixed, but instead is governed by the phases of the moon – how pagan is that?
All the fun things about Easter are pagan. Bunnies are a leftover from the pagan festival of
Eostre , a great northern goddess whose symbol was a rabbit or hare. Exchange of eggs is an ancient custom, celebrated by many cultures. Hot cross buns are very ancient too. In the Old Testament we see the Israelites baking sweet buns for an idol, and religious leaders trying to put a stop to it. The early church clergy also tried to put a stop to sacred cakes being baked at Easter. In the end, in the face of defiant cake-baking pagan women, they gave up and blessed the cake instead.
Easter is essentially a pagan festival which is celebrated with cards, gifts and novelty Easter products, because it's fun and the ancient symbolism still works. It's always struck me that the power of nature and the longer days are often most felt in modern towns and cities, where we set off to work without putting on our car headlights and when our alarm clock goes off in the mornings, the streetlights outside are not still on because of the darkness.
What better way to celebrate, than to bite the head off the bunny goddess, go to a "sunrise service", get yourself a sticky-footed fluffy chick and stick it on your TV, whilst helping yourself to a hefty slice of pagan simnel cake? Happy Easter

@Themadame,
You should have spoken out earlier. You have the financial might to withdraw your daughter ftom Queens college and enroll her in a private school. What about other parents who lack the financial power to withdraw their children from the school and their children are stuck in the school with male prefators called teachers. Are you saying you would have kept quiet on this issue if this scandal had not come up. This is unfair in my humble opinion.

I am not going to go back and forth with you, because it appears you are fond of it.
Is it my fault that the Queens college authorities allowed a group of pedophile techers force bording house pupils to come out at midnight to dance to makossa music in their bra and panties every weekend?
I reported this to the appropriate authorities. The principal and matron denied such ever happened.
The PTA chairperson who organises PTA meetings surrounded by armed policemen denied it and indructed my contribution be expunged from the minutes because they all share 97 thousand multiplied by over 300 students every session.
I did the right thing by removing my daughter from an enviroment I considered umsafe.
End of story.

Queens college,Yaba is a cesspool of corruption. Take it from a person that knows. From the principal down to the least worker to the parents/teachers association executives. Take it from a parent that knows, because I enrolled my daughter in that school two years ago as a JSS 1 student, but I had to convince my husband to withdraw her when she came home on holidays and told me extremely disturbing stories.
My daughter was in the bording school, and told me that on weekends, some male teachers would regularly come into the female hostels in the night, wake up all the female students in the bording house and organise a dancing competition for them, playing music on a hand held device. The girls were forced to dance in their night gowns while these male teachers oogled and cheered them on. My daughter jold me that this took place every weekend under the excuse of exercise.
I brought this matter up with the school authorities and the PTA but it was vehemently denied and covered up,because the PTA executive are in cahoots with the Principal and they share the 97 thousand PTA levy they bill all the JSS1 students every first term. In order to protect my daughter who was traumatised that she was being made to dance in her nightie every weekend for perverted male teachers,I withdrew her from the school at the end of the JSS1 session and enrolled her in a private school. She lost one year but I am glad I made an effort to save her from potential predators.

Crime / Re: Ese Oruru's Love Letter To Yunusa Before Abduction Revealed by TheMadame(f): 7:31pm On Mar 19, 2016
This is the work of well paid lawyers. This letter was on the front page of todays Sun newspaper as well. The question is who is funding this extensive press campaign war? Who is paying the legal fees of these Senior advocate lawyers?
I can predict their next steps, which is to prove Yinusa is an under aged youth of maybe 16 or 17 years.
Then the case becomes that of two minors.
This is similar to what Charles Novia was trying to do in the case between Ibinabo Fiberesima and Dr Suraj Giwa.
This country has lost every sense of morality.

The way people throw money at these car dealers-is as if they don't work hard for this money?
How can spme one defraud you of your money for months and go incommunicado and you are on Nairaland asking for what to do.
This forum is not a court or a police station or the EFCC office.
Get after him and get him arrested because that is what I would do.
I await the day the scammed will arrest the scammer first detain him in police custody, get him tortured very well, before coming to Nairaland to inform us.

Mr caveatemptor,
Are you blaming the poor buyer for doing the right thing or the seller who did the wrong thing by absconding with his money?

Evil can only thrive when good people keep quiet. Congrats to this OP, mullah who was strident and consistently pointed out the loopholes on that Dhomenick thread. The sad fact is that when forum members with genuine monetary issues come out for help people may ignore them and refuse to help because of people like Dhomenick.
As for the moderators I do not think they covered themselves in glory by taking that thread to the front page where lots of people could have been scammed.
