Interesting. @OP, brodagovernor the link you posted is not working. Please post a working link for those interested in following this up. |
^^ Sad. And to think I was almost believing her story. I must be getting old. The unfortunate thing is that fraudsters like this with c0ck and bull stories prevent honest people who genuinely need help from receiving same. A pity. |
Realamy:How did this happen and what about your parents? How old are you if I may ask? |
Nothing is surprising in this regime except their ability to steal while pretending to be holier than thou. Hypocritical thieves, from top to the bottom. |
MsSantaClaus:You must think every person on Nairaland is newly we'd or a new wife. My first daughter is married while my last daughter is about to attend the university. I speak from experience. If you hid things from your parents when in school, rest assured that I did not do the same. A mother should be a friend to her children first before she is their mother. My children have always been my friends. They will tell me whatever is going on in their lives, because of their upbringing. Even with that my children know where I draw the line. I personally would never allow my daughter to have a 12 midnight curfew. My daughter knows better than to get involved in a toxic, druggie environment because of her upbringing. Train your children properly so that they will give you peace of mind tomorrow. Stop making excuses for sugar belly and her mother. The fault lies on their door step. I repeat to you if you are newly wedded or still single-never spare the rod to spoil the child. Audu and all his gang members have married different women and left sugar belly with all the scars of the rape and drugs. This could have been avoided if her mother had done the right thing in the first place. To be forewarned is to be fore armed. A word is enough for the wise. Avoid all situations that can put your kids into danger, especially self inflicted danger such as in sugarbellys case. Good night. |
MsSantaClaus:So because I am a woman I should back the parents when they did not bring up their child properly? I should back a mother who allows her 17 year old daughter a 12 midnight curfew? I should back a mother who allowed her 17 year old daughter to go out with 25 year old men without a chaperone? I should back a mother who allowed her 17 year old daughter to become involved in an atmosphere of sex and hard drugs without cautioning her or stopping her relationship with this Audu character? I have you know I have two daughters and if God forbid they became involved in a toxic atmosphere I would put an immediate stop to it. I am a mother and I repeat if a child becomes involved in a toxic environment,it is the duty of the mother to know and put an immediate stop to it except you are an incompetent mother. I criticized the rape but the fault in my opinion falls on the silly mother who probably was over excited her daughter was courting the son of a governor and closed her eyes to all the warning signs. If you are 17 years old and under my roof, you either obey my rules or face the consequences. I will never spare the rod and spoil my child because according to you I am a woman. |

In this case I blame the girls mother, she gave her too much freedom. What kind of mother allows a 17 year old kid to enjoy a midnight curfew. What kind of mother allows her 17 year old daughter to cavort all over the place with 25 year old men. This is a classic example of bad parenthood, she was probably happy and overjoyed in the typical Nigerian way that her daughter was dating a governors son and as such threw caution to the wind. Rape is bad and I condemn it totally but it is equally our duty as parents to protect our children so that they are not exposed to the dangers of the world. If the mother's head was screwed on her neck properly she should have provided a chaperone for her daughter. Now look at what has happened. |
Originakalokalo:Have you researched Gehenna in the Bible? Or are you just fixated on a merciless God that burns his creations endlessly? Good luck to you with your pulpit thumping and fire and brimstone beliefs. I assure you that you are not scaring me. Try it on some one else. |
Originakalokalo:Keep on thumping the pulpit, you are not scaring anybody except those who don't read the Bible. I ask you are you conversant with the word "Gehenna"? If you understand what gehenna is then you will know that the interpretation of hell in the New testament refers to a giant rubbish heap in a valley outside Jerusalem. This was a place where rubbish was burnt. References to hell or burning are meant to refer to a place where rubbish is dumped. It is figurative. |
Originakalokalo:This is a parable. Stop scaring and threatening people with hell fire. It is not in the scriptures. It is totally opposite of the personae of a loving God. |
Why always threatening people with fire and brimstone? Is hell even biblical? Can this everlasting he'll be properly supported with valid scriptures? |
A year ago when the government banned vehicles importation through the borders I asked the same questions being asked by rational people here on this thread. https://www.nairaland.com/2731332/wonderful-experience-mr-tadeus/52#52683909 |

ifyalways:Okay,as long as the children are safe. |
Ubenedictus:I would like to respond to your post but you keep on amending your posts so many times that what one responds to is now made to look a different thing. Please stop amending your posts after you have been responded to. It does not make for a fair debate. Thank you. What I am saying is the abused children need justice. The catholic church has not been just to these abused children because the priests are coveniently dead or transfered to another country or being protected outright by the catholic church. |
Very old thread. There are over 3000 views of this thread and only 70 plus posts. Unfortunately no one could answer thr question asked and so the thread tailed off. |
ifyalways:Good morning ma, I watched many of the video's -sickening stuff. Most victims are probably threatened into accepting pay offs because of ignorance and fear of "touching God's annointed." In hind sight, who knows why they accepted pay offs. All I know is that anyone who leaves his child (male or female) in the hands of a catholic priest/nun is asking for trouble. |
Ubenedictus:Okay. |
Ubenedictus:You are the one explaining to the members of the forum that your Catholic priest explaining anal raped as "horsing around" was being sarcastic, therefore I need to address you promptly as well as him. So in your wisdom because sexual scandals exist in the protestant, other religions,in schools and groups we should continue to hypocritically sheild the rapist/serial sex abuser priests as the Pope has done by going silent, deaf and dumb and not responding to Carlo Vigano who has openly stated that he informed this current Pope of these sexual scandals years ago but the Pope chose to pardon the offender's? What is more sickening than that? The church should be protected while the children abused by these sick Catholic priests should be silenced and not receive justice? Any member of the Catholic church defending these abusers,I have just one question for you:-"Can you in your heart of heart leave your under age kids with any Catholic priest? " Will such a child be safe with such a priest? |
Ubenedictus:Sarcasm in a case of child abuse?Sarcasm in cases of priests raping children through the anus. Continue to defend evil because you are a catholic.Children have been sexually abused in that church all over the world but all that concerns Catholics is to protect the name of their church. Why not spare a minute for uncountable children who have been abused? I shudder to think of the numerous scandals swept under the carpet in the catholic church in Africa if Europe and America is so bad. |
Dantedasz:I just watched the video and I feel like throwing up. Five sisters from one family abused by this monster who escaped justice by dying before he could be charged to court. |
I read the Pensylvania report about the decades of clergymen sexually abusing young men entrusted in their care and passing it off as "horsing around." The ended up destroying so many young men and women's life's under the guise of mentoring them religiously. It is just sickening that catholic priests would hide under religion to assault their wards and instead of the Catholic church and the pope to expose these stinking paedophiles they are protecting them. The popes attitude comes across as hypocritical and disgusting. The mind boggles at the rot the Vatican sits upon. |
Dantedasz:This is sad. They have turned the house of God into a business centre. This was why Jesus drove charlatans out of the temple. No message concerning winning of souls. Just buying and selling. Cash and carry Christianity. This kind of Christianity has no semblance to Christ's teachings. |
Hmmmm |
Explorers:Quite frankly Mr Explorers,I advise your boss(the elderly man) to take the customs documents on that vehicle for a proper check of the C number . Any dealer so heartless to sell this lemon to the poor buyer could also fake the customs papers. I can bet that either no duty was paid on this vehicle or it was processed as scrap which pays a far lesser rate of duty on the ports. |
Abbeyme:Funny you. On a more serious note, the thread is still relevant today. |
Ipfreely:Yes. I stand by what I am saying. In fact I posted this criminal activity years ago but a moderator called chelseabmw who has been removed as a moderator hid my posts. That is why I said fighting fraud here is like banging your head against a concrete wall.I have been insulted so many times on this forum for fighting against fraudulent activity so I stopped posting in this section. |
olumide4christ:The fact is that these dealers fraudulently smuggle these vehicles through the numerous Bush paths between Nigeria and Benin Republic. Of course the original bill of lading of the vehicle will read Cotonou as the port of entry. How do they beat this and lodge it imto the customs data base? They look for a vehicle with similar name to the smuggled vehicle genuinely cleared through Tin can or Apapa port . Get hold of the documents and insert the chasis number, engine number and probably VIN. They hand these documents to the buyer of the car as Tin can cleared so that if the buyer checks at the customs data base the c number will come up as being in the Customs system but the payment is for another vehicle. So if you are checking your vehicle papers at the customs office make sure a proper check of the chassis and engine number tallies with the numbers on the vehicle being sold to you. Due dilligence is necessary when dealing with these guys. |
