If you focus on just hard copies in this age you will never be able to optimise your reading ...So many materials you dint even knew exist are flying around in soft copies format

Having hard-copy has lots of benefits cos you can mark on it, you can fold, add to your library where others who don't have devices to read soft copies could gain access to and it does not affect your eyes unlike the soft copy.

On the other hand, I prefer soft copy cos it's more convenient for me. On my phone alone I have over a thousand e-books, imagine me carrying such as hard copies... I would need a trailer to carry them grin grin grin

You can join this group GET INSPIRED on whatsapp where you get access to e-books, audio messages, motivational articles and lots more all for FREE.

Bookmarking is easier with sift copies ... You can wrote notes send them to third parties ... Listen to the entire book like some preacher is preaching to you ... Organise your ebooks with tags ... Eg politics , economy, faith , spirituality , quotes

I go with Adeshina12,I love novels a lot,so I have been reading hard copies before I joined Nairaland, hard copies are the best because all the episodes are there waiting for you,so you will read at once, but with phone you will wait for episodes and the light from phone damages eyes too,my eyes has been paining me since, but one thing with phone is that it is fun and it is always like interactive class because of the comments but hard copy is the best
I would disagree with you on the availability of episodes point.... Soft copies or online reading is the best .. for instance, the numbers of verse of the Bible on a single app is mind blowing coupled with notes, dictionaries, referencing , compare And so much more.

Even the speak features of app makes every argument against it futile

You can't carry around the numbers of ebooks I have on my iPad if they were to be hard copies .... Like 3000

Plz permit me to reply the Mr grammer once again.
I thought he was an English teacher I can learn a thing or two from until I went through his posts. My verdict is that this Themandator is not an advanced English Student as he may want everybody on this forum to believe. There is nothing special about his use of English as his posts in many other subjects on this forum are replete with errors be it typographical as he will soon come to make of it or structural, he is error prone. But the more dangerous error is his defence of the IMF -wanna --be alternative gospel peddlers. I think that was the genesis of his diversionary games.
There is a difference between typographical or structural error and a silly attempt at organising a naming ceremony on nairaland for a disoriented thought from one suffering complex problem

Na Adeboye deceive into voting in buhari, now we are all suffering becos we followed Adeboye.
Na false prophet ein be. angry

My brother no mind the yahoo adeboye, defrauding people in the name of Church.
God go judge soon.

Jesus said what does it profit a man to gain the whole world and loose their soul.
So the most important thing is the kingdom of God.
Adeboye & co make out that the most important thing is material prosperity.
that's of the devil.

As the bible say's adeboye is simply after his own belly.

Romans 16:18
For they that are such serve not our Lord Jesus Christ, but their own belly; and by good words and fair speeches deceive the hearts of the simple.

Adeboye is a fraud, who is deceiving Christians.
What does it profit a man if he gains the world and lose his soul is actually for the unsaved .... Matt 6:33 says , seek the kingdom first and the things that men are dying to get will be cheaply added into you and I had earlier stated that your material prosperity is tied to the spiritual prosperity of your soul, according the scripture 3 John 2 ... I wish above all thing that thou prospereth even as thy soul prospereth .... Your soul prospereth from the word of God

I have not seen or heard any if these men lay emphasis on material prosperity much more than your spiritual prosperity..... They only tell you that rather than pursue worldly wealth which you need unless you are receiving yourself and lose God that pursuing God and his kingdom can bring in those wealth cheaply and without the wear and tear of fleshly pursuit of same ... Those are two different issue.

What are you talking about. This is why Nigeria will remain stagnant. Who told you everyone needs a pastor over his life? Oh My God, Do you read the Bible? You don't need no pastor over your life. The race to heaven is about You, You, and You!! What your pastor will do is to sow the seed in you. That's why Jesus sent the Holy Spirit to guide us and teach us, not pastor.
Soulish thought ... Read Jeremiah 3:15 ...... John 21:17 ..... Acts 8:31

Jesus Christ wouldn't be caught telling Peter that he would build his church around him

Everyone is not called to be a pastor but every one is ordained to have a Spiritual leader

If you have ever heard from the Holy spirit in the subject matter he would have referred you to the scripture but a man saturated with free spirit as you can't be led so he won't teach that.

I also think you picked offence with my mentioning of your darling Bishop like most sheeples do. So continue listening to boastful IMF/Worldbank sermons.

Where did I pick the offence , ground or from your desk? That church won't miss you , certainly not with your level of intelligence ... Your word , whether written or spoken is an expression of your inner worth and to judge you on this syllabus of error you splash on this forum as post and contribution tI would conclude that your pastor tolerated a mediocre like you for too long up close to the point of you trying to make imputs into critical issues of administration

I can use and play with words as I deem fit. But I think you took offence because I mentioned a Bishop who prophesied he will become richer than IMF/worldbank. He is rich no doubt, from the endless seeds and tithes he is extracting from his Nigerian followers but boasting about his projected riches is a miscalculation. Assuming, all Nigerians are deceived into sowing seeds to him, he still can't come close to IMF. Not even with all his followers deceived into sowing 100% of their salary to him will he become Worldbank. It is all Boastings and the ungodly form of it.
The coined Prosperity to godliness, is an abridged statement. They say in such places that friends of gods are known by the money they boast of. The cursed of god are the have-nots, the poor can't be righteous and can't be a friend of the gods of such commission. To them to be prosperous means a person is godly, such a godly person sows big seeds, pay tithes to the IMF- to -be Bishop in hard currency and comes out every Sunday to testify that he is godly because he is prosperous.
I think you have problems distinguishing between word play and standard name or term for phenomenons. You wrote, it is called which implies a universally accepted and known term for a particular behaviour... Then you claim of what they say in such places is an abuse of intelligence and facts ..... Until you have fact this is what he said about your property to godliness theory , you are speaking ignorantly and should not be advertising same as opinion on forums

Go there and get facts raypthrr than assumed you know what you don't know ..... I have no issue with who you are criticising but but whether your statement is intelligent enough.

It is called Psychological workup. I think it was introduced to Nigeria by Archbishop Benson Idahosa and his proteges use the same to force their followers to fall in line.
It is simple method but works largely on people who are enticed by association of money otherwise called prosperity to godliness. It is exactly the method that the Bishop who prophesied he will become richer than Paris club, IMF or World bank while counting on his sheeples to make that happen is using. Some persons actually like those few minutes they are worked up into believing they too can boast of money, traveling from one big city to another, owning estates and building massive structures, just by sowing seed to the Bishop and helping the Bishop boast more.
Just to make this unintelligible contribution you have invented or constructed an equally unintelligible phrase, psychological workup. ...What is the meaning of prosperity to godliness... Long strings of words with no sensible deductions able to be made out of.

Pastors like that will not cease to be on this earth. One have to be careful of which church one worships in.

Some pastors are there to elevate your spiritual life while some are there to bring it down. That's why I don't attach myself to pastors of any church I attend.. I study my Bible privately, organize prayers for myself, I don't need a pastor to tell me when to fast.

I came into this world alone and I will give account of my earthly works alone.
The spirit of pride is working in you but the most unfortunate is that it has lied to you that you read you Bible even though from your statement it is obvious you don't know anything about the Bible .... Everyone of us has a pastor over his life ... Have you ever seen this my statement in the Bible you claim to read for yourself?
