I had a terrible experience like this during my service year. Though I was not the target but I was caught up in the mix. I thank God till this day that no one died that fateful night but the whole village turned up at the corpers lodge with very dangerous weapons ready to kill. Even old women where not left out as they approached some bearing pestles some cutlasses.
Life in the north is one very dangerous venture. Everything can suddenly go south without warning.
