Christianity EtcRe: How Did You Feel After You Finally Defeated That Stubborn Addiction? by TheManOfTheYear:
It's the way you people condemn mastúrbation and leave out fornication, adultery and the likes.

Ironically, the Bible never even mentioned mastúrbation. Or didn't men and women wanked during the Bible days?

Make of this whatever you will. I'm not here to teach morals, just dissecting flawed belief systems.

So, it's okay for women to be loading their bodies with IUDs and birth control pills?

Wow.
I never said so.
I only stated that a vasectomy is not an easy decision for a man to take, even when he's done having children.

Why not?

Does he have plans for more children? What is he using the sp3rm to do after a third child?

Besides, there are reversible vasectomies.
You're not a male, so you're in no position to talk on this.

Every man loves to see semen gush out after a successful orgasm. That feeling is something you can't relate to.

Hence my take, it is not so easy.

Get a vasectomy if you don’t want any more kids. It’s really that simple.
It's not that simple actually. Getting a vasectomy is not something you wake up one morning and decide to do.

If you would take my advice, buy a Hyundai accent 2012 or 2010 Kia Rio. These are cars seen as civil servant and Bankers cars in Nigeria, and it will take the eyes of Police off from you cos one jealous nodowell Police can stop you one day and tag you a Yahoo boy and before you prove your innocence you maybe gone. I know what I am saying.

All you need now is a car that will move you around without unnecessary attention until you attain a certain age in Nigeria.

What matters is how much you have in your bank and how easy you can solve financial issues without stress.

Even if you like girls, a basic car will still attract decent chicks to you with the wave of ritual killings in Nigeria, an expensive ride will mostly attract high class call girls who have seen it all and have crossed the sea and no longer afraid of any man, you don't need such runs girls before they ruin your life with ill luck.

Don't buy Range Rover, it's a trouble car, the wiring have issue, the balloon issue when it starts can run you mental. Leave luxury cars for now, invest in landed properties as many as you can get, a time must come when you wont be getting much remote contracts as you are getting now. The nest you build now will save you from heavy rainfall tomorrow.

Invest massively in landed properties in and outside Enugu. Owerri is cool, Onitsha is cool. Lagos is cool too
So much wisdom in one man.
God bless you bro

My boss is a terrible man... I still work there though cos I have no other alternative.. he degrades me in front of clients and rubbish my work. By the way I work in an audit firm so I am an accountant. There was a day he pushed me so hard cos to him I didn't do what he asked me to do. He threatens to slap me numerous times, there was other days he was touching me romantically and I scolded him and he threatened to sack me. There were months he withheld my salary cos he feel I can't do anything. The list is endless. Am just praying for better days ahead so help me God

Those who don't have this requirements but know their onions how can they bypass this
Just apply anyway. You do not always have to tick all the requirements before applying. Most of these requirements are just aimed at the ideal candidate not realistic enough

There are things you do not understand about Lagos but in summary,Lagos has never been for sale.I won't say more than that.Let us leave it there.

On Banana Island, you apparently misunderstood me sir, the ticket to get a property there is not because you are Yoruba, it is that you are ultra high networth , phenomenally ultra succcessful and have a verifiable elitist family pedigree. . That is where the scions of the Yoruba old Ikoyi money have the edge and why an Obi Cubana et al do not have houses in Banana.

It is run like a company and not like your regular estate . It will be easier for an Emefiele to get a property there than an MC Oluomo yet MC Oluomo is Yoruba except if MC Oluomo is from the old Yoruba Ikoyi money.

The board is peopled mostly by the scions of this old Ikoyi money who are mostly Yoruba ( I won't disclose the names of the Yoruba families) and own almost all the property there and who have over the years inter married and know one another as far back as their primary school days in Saint Saviours,Ikoyi wink

It is done in the west in every highly civilized capitalist urban city settings where the ultra High networth create an exclusive zone for themselves so it is not new. The brilliant Architect Yoruba man who conceptualized the Island for scions of Yoruba old Ikoyi money is late now but the idea is to create an upper class estate for the Yoruba ultra HNI and scions of Ikoyi old money.
It is a strategic way to fence out the new money because most of this elite old Ikoyi money live in old Ikoyi while their scions live in Banana Island. .

To understand this concept, please read the tragedy in the book "The Great Gasby" and how Gatsby was never accepted by the old money.

In that book , you will appreciate more why you need to work hard for your descendants today.
Thanks for the book, I'd read it through.
But their original purpose has been defeated, the new money are now obtaining properties in the same Banana Island, the likes of Linda Ikeji and co. Money will always compromise things in Nigeria.

I know that you are not based in Lagos or from Lagos so I can only respond by telling you to keep telling yourself such falsehood until you bel8eve it wink
Just type the excos of Banana Island Landlords Association alone to cure yourself of the ignorance. To buy property in Banana Island, you need more than money because background check is first conducted on you.

I guarantee you that ,especially , if you are not from the stock of the Ikoyi old money made up mostly of the Yoruba elite renowned ex-this ex-that or have strong link to them, you will not get a single sand in Banana Island.

Banana Island is different but I am sure that you don't know. You probably think it is all comers affair. You must be from a certain pedigree before you can buy land in Banana Island sir. Once they hear your surname, you will be declined on the spot.
There are so much you do not understand about Lagos, Lagos has never been for sale sir wink
Are you insinuating that a non-Yoruba cannot buy property in Banana Island?

I've been reading your comments all the while, and to be honest, you spoke facts sprinkled with tribalism. That's what y'all do on this forum anyway.

No one's gonna do any bloody fact check on me. If I have the money, and I'm not a fugitive nor an illegal immigrant from somewhere, I CAN buy a house in Banana Island, in Maitama, in any fùcking place!!

This is Nigeria, anything goes as long as there's money.

And before you begin to say I don't know anything about Lagos, I grew up here in Lagos. I speak Yoruba with native proficiency. Although I'm from the south

Speak facts but don't try to gatekeep because you wanna score cheap tribal points

It really depends on IQ. There are people who don't even need to know DSA. They have very high mathematical intellect and can solve everything just by looking at it. If you are a normal average guy 2 months is too short except you are doing leetcode from morning till night.
Thank you boss, I'd still apply to jobs anyway, I believe some companies don't require DSA. Along the way, I'd start learning it.

Honestly DrLevi is spot on but there's something I want to add. Since your skills are mostly front-end and you need a job asap, forget about product based companies. Even the smallest unknown ones require very serious intense data structures and algorithms preparation. That thing is very tough. I am studying and I know what I am seeing.

I will advise you to focus on applying to agencies and dev shops both foreign and local. Their processes aren't strenuous and if you actually learnt what you are supposed to have learnt and known as a junior dev, you will have a job in no time. You can then start learning dsa when you have that job. Look for agencies that specialist in WordPress, Salesforce, Drupal, Shopify and other platform development. They are the easiest place to start your career now. Forget product based companies even in Nigeria it's very hard to join a product based company except your leg inside is very strong.
Thanks for the comment, but I don't know how to use no-code platforms like WordPress, Drupal etc

What do you think is the learning curve for DSA? Can I get a hang of it within 2 months?
RomanceRe: What's The Craziest Thing You Have Done For LOVE by TheManOfTheYear: 8:19am On Mar 17, 2022
I've not really done anything crazy out of love. Perhaps because I've never really fallen deep in love with any lady even though I've dated thrice in my 24 years of existence.

I sometimes wonder if I am capable of emotional attachment, but I also believe it's because I have never taken relationships as a priority in my life.

I hope to grow out of this soon. Amen

Spend more time reading and praciting , there is the internet and Youtube, understand what it is you are reading, also programming is not something you read, it's the more you practice.

1. Keep updated with newer tech
2. Join a community
3. Watch Youtube
4. Practice if possible code 10 hours a day

Took me 2 years of coding everyday to be good and some months before I could get a job, It took tensazangetsu20 some months. Times are different, it is so much easier that no one has an excuse unless they are learning programming the wrong way.

talk with tensazangetsu20 ASAP if he can advice you. also your mental fortitude matters, if you are defeatists Programming is going to be hard for you.

Coding is a tough skill don't let any bootcamp romanticize coding, it is tough. You have to put in alot
I have a question bro, do I need to learn DSA to get my first job. Because I'm about to start applying for jobs

Is that one suppose to be a problem? Someone refused to become a soldier so he won't have to kill,do you see that as a problem?
So if a JW in Ukraine was called upon to fight and defend his nation against ruthless Russian forces, he rejected. You'd not find it bad?

The only issue I have with that religion is the issue of blood transfusion. Aside that they are almost perfect. Easy going and they are the kindest people on earth. So I wonder why you had to run on finding out one is Jehovah's witness.
Do you know they don't sing national anthems and serve in militaries?
HealthRe: Jehovah's Witness Wife Rejected Blood Transfusion For Her Husband & He Died by TheManOfTheYear: 7:13pm On Mar 15, 2022
thesicilian:
Ok
There's enough blame to go round, actually.
The wife takes blame for prioritizing religious beliefs over evidence based medicine.

The husband also takes the blame, because by signing up to become a JW, he invariably agreed to all their terms and conditions including no blood transfusion even for life saving conditions. The wife was only following his example.

The doctor also has some part of the blood, for agreeing to do the surgery knowing the strong stand of JWs against blood transfusion and not providing alternative measures.
Leave the doctor out of the blame please. He's in no position to decide for them, the wife is the proxy and she's solely responsible for his death.

It's not like the doctor would go around asking for religion before performing any surgery
