Unfortunately in spite of the political consciousness of people of the North, which as at today are the best in Nigeria and despite all the number of years they have ruled the country am sure you can't compare the life of an average Northern to the Igbos. The Igbos may not be embedded in Nigeria politics because they know from the onset that the government means no well for an ordinary Nigeria and have be empowering themselves as best as they could. I am sure you can attest to that, that's if you have ever left your enclave to live among them.
Lets not digress on d main issue I was discussing. We're talking about leadership position here & not d betterment of d Igbos which is something you brag about a lot. The

Hausas are proud of dr situation dats why they are d way they are. You should thank God most of them av decided to remain unempowered cos if coupled with their

leadership streak I'm sure you'll loathe them more dan you do now-ds time with envy...and lemme remind you, there's an ongoing change in d North now..e.g Kaduna

they're really empowering themselves educationally..it wont be long b4 they achieve that aspect too. The message here is dat Attitude is wat determines Altitude. The

igbos refuse to accept something is wrong with them attitude-wise & until then even d "bambiala" & " almajiri" will meet up & overtake them soon enough.

Depends on what you have in mind.

If its chilling with alcohol, music, ladies etc then SabonGari should offer multiple options.

If its nature, Polo ground should do nice.

If its where weed smokers gather to blaw, Eldorado should help. wink

If its shows (comedic, dancing, pageants etc), some hotels should offer such this period.

If its like a sports thing, there is a cool pool bar in Yankaba with about 20 pool tables.

There is the mall.
Etc

I hope I helped
You try grin

Just dat I've flexed all d cool spots in Sabon Gari...lashed all d chiks there too..

I need a new form of excitement.

It is not a matter of mini.

They are only smarter in politics, and are the usual beautiful bride. There is nothing that says the Igbos and Yorubas cannot form alliance.
But the ITK, oversense & inhospitable mien of d igbos will always be their greatest undoing. An igbo man was complaining to me dat d SW fucccked dem up & as I was

explaining to him d importance of d SW & NC politically(especially during 2011 dat helped GEJ when Tinubu sold out to him) d guy sensed "tribalism" & walked out...I just

shook my head in pity for him & dr kin...with their hot blood they will continue to wallow in political oblivion. A pity.
PoliticsRe: Asari Dokubo Told To Leave Ndigbo Alone In His Propaganda by themodernman: 8:23pm On Apr 02, 2015
Jarus:
In the First Republic, Igbo (Zik, NCNC) and the North (Sardauna/Balewa, NPC) formed alliance that was too much for the West (Awolowo, AG), and AG, not having enough seats in the parliament to produce Awo as Prime Minister, Awo could only become opposition leader, while the team with majority (NPC and NNPC) produced President (Zik, NCNC) and Prime Minister (Balewa, NPC).

In the second republic, NPN was dominated by Northerners and Igbos, and they produced president (Shagari) and VP (Ekwueme).

Igbos and the North in civilian dispensations have always been friends, while Yoruba traditionally played opposition.

This is the first time Yoruba is involved in mainstream. You can hardly achieve mainstream by not forging alliance. The current generation of Igbos do not appear to get this, and the SW outsmarted them.
Hence d North must always be involved while the rest play "mini-mini-mani-mo"?

I really envy the Northerners. E be like sey na dem get Nigeria.
Car TalkWhat Happens To The Automotive Policy? by themodernman(op): 8:17pm On Apr 02, 2015
Now that we'll have a new Government before May 30th which is the date we expect automotive policy to kick off, what will happen when Buhari assumes power?

I really hope d policy is scrapped even though that shouldn't stop the indigenous development of our Automobile industry but I dont believe Protectionism is d way here.

What do you guys think?

If you think that conceding defeat is the end game, you are wrong. I read BBC five points analysis and laugh, dis people don't even know wetin dey happen.

By conceding defeat, Jonathan is simply washing his hands off what will come after May 29.
If the West thinks that they would have a better oil deal with Northerners then they would be disappointed cos this is not the 70s that you sign off oil blocks to imperialists and share the remaining among the generals and emirs. There will even be no oil to negotiate over in the first place.
Please make yourself clear.
PoliticsRe: PDP Governors Visit President Jonathan (Photos) by themodernman: 4:30pm On Apr 02, 2015
Swaggzkid:
PDP Governors led by the Chairman of the PDP governors forum, Godswill Akpabio of Akwa Ibom state, paid a solidarity visit to President Jonathan at the Presidential villa yesterday April 1st. The governors in attendance were Emmanuel Uduaghan (Delta); Ibrahim Dankwambo (Gombe); Ramalan Yero (Kaduna); Lyel Imoke (Cross River); Seriake Dickson (Bayelsa); Sullivan Chime (Enugu); Jonah Jang (Plateau); Martin Elechi (Eboyi); and Idris Wada (Kogi). Speaking with newsmen...

Speaking with newsmen after the meeting, the Chairman of the group, Godswill Apkabio vowed that the PDP will still retains its number of seats as Governors after the April 11th governorship elections. He said their party would pursue all legal means to address any legal concerns they have regarding the outcome of the presidential election.

"We as governors came to assure him (the President) that we are going back as field commanders to hold our states and that come April 11, PDP will still maintain its lead across Nigeria. Everybody knows that the only party that is national in nature and is on ground is the PDP. So we are not going to be undaunted by what has happened. The party has already indicated that it will explore all legal means in order to ensure redress. So, we are also proud of the party and we want to congratulate all our voters and all PDP faithfuls across Nigeria for their peaceful disposition. This is the only party that has not carried stick to break somebody’s windscreen after election. Because of the sacrificial stand of the President, our faithfuls are not on the streets, breaking APC windscreens and vehicles. If it were to be the other way round, you know what would have happened today. That is where Nigerians must judge: we want peace, stability and unity.” he said.

PoliticsMy Concise & Candid Advice To Mr President-elect by themodernman(op): 3:23pm On Apr 01, 2015
Without wasting much time on congratulatory messages that must have flooded you, I want to simply advise you Mr President to make the Political office an unattractive

post in terms of monetary gains....Invest more in Education & let the Civil Service be attractive monetary-wise & see how our Educational sector will improve remarkably.

When Education has improved Industrialization is inevitable. Take a cue from developed nations where a Specialist Medical Doctor earns more than Barack Obama.

Little wonder they have one of the best health-care in the world...Same should go for other professions as well: Engineering, Law, Security, Academic etc. Make true your

promise of cutting down on Government expenses as ds will discourage ppl from making it a do or die affair which will in turn make Corruption easier for you to fight.

Encourage investors & business men to lavish dr money on students who excel in dr academics & less on who has d highest follower on twitter or who has d greatest

hit-track in so doing ppl will have no choice than to go to school and succeed in d long run bringing the much needed development to d country.

If this is done Sir, it won't be long before the Naira starts catching up with the dollar...I hope my voice is heard.

Once again Congratulations General Muhammadu Buhari. May God give you a successful tenure as dat will also bring success to my life.

70 percent of northerners fail WAEC every year and they contribute less than 20 percent to the Nigerian economy. They are the poorest, most diseased, most ignorant, most insecure and most spiteful.
But they still have the audacity to present politicians without quality education to rule over the affairs of country and some useless southerners would vote the stark ignorant northern politician and jubilate with the northerners.

Nigeria is just a useless country. This country disgusts me.

government in power".This is an outrage, unbelievable.Alhaji Mujahid Asari-Dokubo (born 1964), formerly Melford Dokubo Goodhead Jr. and typically referred to simply

as Asari, is a major political figure of the Ijaw ethnic group in the Niger Delta region of Nigeria. He was president of the Ijaw Youth Council for a time beginning in 2001 and

later founded the Niger Delta People’s Volunteer Force which would become one of the most prominent armed groups operating in the Niger Delta region.

I feel it is d same calmness & gentility dat made him a weak President dat was overridden by Boko Haram & taken advantage of.

A strong President like Obasanjo wont allow kids like Sanusi spoil him dat way nor will he allow Boko Haram misbehave but at same time a strong man won't allow

himself to be won so easily d way GEJ succumbed to defeat...he will do everything possible to get back to power, he will say its a do or die affair unlike GEJ who said its

not worth d blood of anybody. OBJ even contemplated 3rd term to show how strong he is.

Its a crazy world men!
