I have been following this DEBO ADENIRAN for quite some time. Not once has he been quoted to criticise PDP.

There is so much fraud in that Opon Imo project. The first one I will mention is the claim that he is saving 8.6 billion that would have been used to buy 56 textbooks for 17 subjects for about 150, 000 students SSCE. This is so fraudulent

1. SSCE students preparing for WAEC or NECO do not do 17 subjects each. They choose about 8 or 10 subjects to do.

2. Each subject normally has one textbook. You dont need more than one text for example, for chemistry. Even if you were to have 2 textbooks per subject, a student will still have less than 20 textbooks.

3. Some subjects like English have very cheap textbooks.

So there is no way Osun state would have required 8.6 billion to buy textbooks for students preparing for SSCE, yearly. This is where he set the stage up for fraud.

Also, it is actually incredible to insinuate that he will have to buy the same books yearly for the next set of students. Why in the world will Osun state have to do that? Are they insinuating the student will destroy them after use? These students dont need to take the textbooks home since they wont be needing it after they graduate that year. At least, most of them wont be needing it. So the calculation is completely fraudulent. If the government where to provide text books, the textbooks would be placed in a library so the students can access it and when they graduate, he next set of students can then use it.

Th whole project was setup as a scam from day one.

free R1: "Jobless people" with no income are still required to obtain a tax clearance. What they get is a tax exempt certificate just like startups or companies running at a loss. Don't mistake tax clearance for paying tax. A lot go into paying tax. For those who go about paying 5k, I am sure it is out of ignorance or they fall into the unskilled labour category. If this is the case, because their income cannot be properly determined, LASG has a 3k flat rate that they are asked to pay "they are not jobless" (Maybe it has been increased now).

Not paying tax is a serious offence (carries a jail time). It is encouraged to know the tax policy of your state and always get your tax clearance at the beginning of every year.
