fiizznation: This same group of fools at it again... I have never read any baseless assertions in any fora except here in NL. I mean was wrong with dis oldmen here on NL always trying to label BUHARI as a bad fellow when the entire world sees him as the only moses that ll lead nigeria to the promise land. Anyway u guys shd keep trying hard..

Jonathan must vacate aso rock come 2015 weda he likes it or not together with his shepopotamus . Quote me to type baloney at me and STFU
Nobody sees him as anything except yeye bigots like you who share his sharia agenda. If Nigerians see him as anything, he would have won an election at least once. He is a permanent failure
PoliticsRe: Buhari Was Actively Involved In 1983 Coup, Looted The Treasury- Tanko Yakasai by theoctopus: 1:17am On Nov 23, 2013
I said this same thing last week and I have been proven right. Buhari is not a poor man. He is a 419. He pretends to not have money so he can sell his crap to gullible people. He is a fraud. He still cannot account for the PTF money. That is why he refused to appear before the oputa panel. A cheap crook and a bigot.
PoliticsRe: President Jonathan At the Investor’s Meeting After Discharge From Hospital by theoctopus:
Ngwakwe: I think say a supposed credible media site was accusing Ogogoro of sabotaging Mr Presido's London mission?

You mean the Ogogoro was actually adulterated, no hangover?

Naa waaoooo.
Is it wrong for Sahara Reporters to keep churning out lies after lies just to try and discredit the president. That is not journalism. Sahara reporters is an anti-Nigeria news media. In the long run, it isnt GEJ they are messing up. It is Nigeria and Nigerians. When you travel tomorrow and you are treated like a criminal, remember it is because the likes of Sahara Reporters paint you and your generation in bad light. The opposition and their paid media are doing almost irreparable damage to Nigeria's Image.
PoliticsRe: Our Pay Justified, Says Tambuwal by theoctopus: 8:51am On Nov 22, 2013
I might have tried to see reason with Tambuwal if he actually has a job. The problem is, he and his colleagues do nothing so they shouldn't even get more than 50k a month.

Nairaland GeneralRe: Who Is Sincere9gerian? by theoctopus: 3:30am On Nov 22, 2013
Reading this thread is fun. APC supporters are the worst hypocrites you can ever find. They have no honor. They have so shame. They are just unbridled touts! grin grin grin
AutosRe: Toyota Camry To Cost N20 Million In 2014 by theoctopus: 6:31pm On Nov 21, 2013
I have been reading this thread from page one. You cant help but laugh at the gross ignorance on display. Is thia how an average Nigerian thinks? wow!

1. Fisr, the op is an ignoranmus who posted trash and I dont know who will move this kind of trash to the front page.

2. All those who actually believed the op's trash are a disgrace. It is too childish

3. There i no way a policy like this will be a bad thing for any country. This is basic economics of demand and supply. We are having heavy capital flight in Nigeria. You cannot turn the country around without reducing the capital flight and encouraging local production

4. Those that insult the FG everyday and call for change are also those that oppose policies that are supposed to bring that change. Maybe they think the change will come by a magic wand

5. Some say the policy favour the rich, not the masses. Haba! Does the masses buy cars, whether new or tokunbo? Anyone who can afford a car of 500k and above is not among the poor masses. I thought they say we have 100 million destitutes in Nigeria. So why are we complaining? Do the destitutes also own cars? I know Nigerian destitutes are executive destitutes who drink like 5 bottles of beer daily in joints around the country.

6. On a serious note, people should learn to ask questions instead of just spilling ignorance on public forums.

kingoflag: And since theres never any electricity, how is this Salon business expected to run EFFECTIVELY?! Oh, lemme guess, generators! And when that packs up or theres fuel scarcity?

Man, its nots mandatory to type on your keyboard in response to every subject. And even if you do, its not mandatory to hit "send". Sometimes--like what you shouldve done above--- you couldve just hit the delete button.
Anybody reading your post who doesnt live in Nigeria will actually think barbing salons dont exist in Nigeria. There are thousands of barbing salons doing very well in Nigeria so your point is useless. Dont you barb your hair in a barbing salon? Is the barber not doing well? Has he died of starvation? You have no point
PoliticsRe: Jalingo Town In Photos by theoctopus: 3:33pm On Nov 21, 2013
OP, do you know the meaning of "appalling"? You probably meant "appealing".

Below photos of roads in Aba are what is called "appalling".
These are not recent pictures of Aba. Some of you like to go around the internet and post any picture you see as the current picture of a city. Very wrong. Some of the pictures you post are 3 to 7 years old. If you want to post a picture, then it must be a recent pic else it will be fraudulent.
PoliticsRe: Nigeria Does Not Have 100m Destitute – Presidency by theoctopus: 11:09am On Nov 21, 2013
kingoflag: Lmaoo Nigerians are in denial of their extreme poverty.
Fake and unpatriotic Nigerian like you think you can run Nigeria down to justify your ambition to install your cronies into power. Shame on you. How many destitutes live on your street? I gues you dont even know the meaning of the word. How many people die of starvation in your community daily? Very shameful new way to campaign. Keep trying to run the country down you hear!

kingoflag: The Govt doesnt shield corrupt people, the people shield corrupt people. Case in point, Stella Oduah and the recent Anambra Abracadabra.
Stella Oduah has not been proven to be corrupt. Stop repeating a lie. It wont make it truth. You are the one shielding a corrupt Bola Ahmed Tinubu (real names, Kunle Adeleke)
PoliticsRe: Nigeria Does Not Have 100m Destitute – Presidency by theoctopus: 10:45am On Nov 21, 2013
The world bank claim is complete hogwash. If Lagos, PH, Abuja and Kano has about the highest populations in Nigeria and these cities have very few of such destitutes, then where did the world bank get their figures from. Rubbish claim from fake sources. I am sure one NGO has collected money to conduct such a research and they just went back to their office and used microsoft excel to cook it up. smh
PoliticsRe: Jonathan Meets Rebel Governors On Sunday by theoctopus: 10:29am On Nov 21, 2013

To be a progressive in Nigeria means to be anti people and dictatorial. Just look at Lagos state and how it is being governed. Looting extravaganza! Ably supported by a crowd of bigots and sycophants!

Pukkah: Events of the last one year have shown him to be the Most Tribalistic Governor in Nigeria.

Some Nairaland monikers that are deep in bigotry may be his ghost users.
Who is the tribalistic one here? The one that deported people of other tribes and dumped them under the bridge by 3am in the morning or the one that told him he should not do that?
PoliticsRe: Anambra Election: I Did Not Rig Alone - Arrested INEC Official by theoctopus: 7:19pm On Nov 20, 2013
Akiika: Here is the reason why the East is almost competing in under-development with the North, you guys are simply not reasonable with your tribalism. I thought you guys should condemn the sham election. I believe all these parties are simply anti-people and are simply patronizing your tribal and religious sentiments....you are unfortunately gullible. All of you know that Ngige may be the better devil of the lot...but you can't see beyond the stupid tribalism. Let Obi pass the torch to Obiano and let them steal you dry, citizens of mumu kingdom!!!
Do you know you are very silly posting stuff like these around this forum? You should first go and stop Tinubu (aka Kunle Adeleke) from acquiring the whole of Lagos state before coming to advise people from other states. You follow Tinubu, a criminal, cetificate forger, drug peddler and dictator and BH supporters as your leader, yet you think you can advise other people. You are shameless

There is no good governance in your state. Stop talking nonsense. Your state is still as backward as it can ever been. The only change is that Tinubu is now collecting the tax and pocketing it.

ayusco85: Presido why u dey run na? What about ASUU strike? I must graduate this year o.
When will you people wake up and take ASUU on? The president has made a good offer, even attending the meeting himself. What more do you want him to do? The next thing ASUU does is to postpone their meeting indefinitely because a member died. No concern for millions of students at home. When they told you people that ASUU strike was political, you people refused.to listen. You students better stand up for yourselves.
PoliticsRe: FG Approves Construction Of Rail To Link Oil Depots; Commissions 20 Oil Wagons by theoctopus: 8:58pm On Nov 19, 2013
bloggernaija: These people like showering money on project with little or no impact.
Go to oshodi ,and you will see the carcasses of the same oil trains .
In a few years, another government will be wasting money on the same thing.
Additional rail lines to apapa to Carry oil when the most strategic project would have been to build something .
It all boils down to priorities,

1 LAGOS-SHAGAMU-IBADAN high speed rail line with the private sector operating the trains and the government maintaining the tracks .
This would take the pressures of Lagos as people can reside elsewhere while working in Lagos .

2 A restriction of the current rail system to cargos (since it is not ready for prime time ) with private sector involvement and the creation/designation of depot cities/towns ,where farmers can bring their produce and get a fair price ,along its entire length.

3the construction of intra city rail networks for places like Lagos ,Ibadan,Kano ,portharcourt etc. An Ordinary 20 km long rail line ( ikorodu - Maryland or rumuogba to choba )would go a long way in easing the pains in those places without distorting/dislocating the local economy ;most especially for road transport workers.

Many cities are known to have grown from rail terminus and depots ,in many parts of the world.
Things move fast ,from farmers selling their produce at these depots/terminus to receiving incoming manufactured goods ,banks opening branches, trailer parks, bus stations, tractor rental, petrol stations, police station ,schools, hospital etc.all through private enterprise .

Until nigeria gets a true patriot who chooses like minded assistants,we will continue having the same set of problems.
GDP increase without development.
growth with increasing poverty.
Nigeria needs
Someone who will take his people seriously and believe in their ability.
As we speak , ordinary road construction is being done by Arabs ,Europeans and Asians.
If we can not construct our own roads..................
Even Fashola(whom I support and defend a lot ) is equally guilty of this.

When we get a government that is ready to target projects with the biggest bang for the buck,
Nigeria will start rising.
But it is not going to happen with a president under whom you get the following.

1 10 presidential jets , numerous helicopters,20 ambulances
2 city gates
3 aso rock buka for billions of naira
4one day ,one fraud.
The problem with people like you is that you dont even know how ignorant you are. Havent you heard of the 5 new speed rail projects that the FG is about to commence, having concluded their feasibility studies about 3 months ago? Please try and always ask questions before you post. How can the FG just abandon the present rail system and start building a brand new rail system that will definitely take years to complete? If they do that, people like you will also come out to say they are doing nothing. You people politicize everything because you dont care about Nigeria's change. You only care about your party getting the presidency.

Amdiwon: This is so sadden that our supposed leaders are famished of ideas. They should allow the young people to take over from them. I would suggest that 15 billion should be used to estbalish 150 companies with 100million invested in each company. This will have have a great improvement on unemployment and will also yield profits and better the society at large.
Just imagine if the government actually form companies and put people like you in charge to manage it. Your post is a proof that government should never try such a thing. grin

What about the other 20 Million Unemployed graduates?

Why just unemployed graduates? what about unemployed non-graduates?
Where did you get the record of 20 million unemployed graduates? You just pull fake figures out of your %^^%$. The same way you people pull out fake census figures. Pathetic! grin

emorse: Don't you think it would be wiser to address these instead?
What do you mean addressing this instead? What is the purpose of say, the power reform and privatization? Is it not to address it? What is the purpose or reviving the rail system? What is the purpose of the agric reforms? These are all actions to address those issues. The problem is you think these things should work overnight. These are major reforms that will take years to fully achieve. For example, it will take a few months for the new power companies to fully settle down and function optimally. Nigeria was destroyed for over 40 years.

take dat: "Every thief caught red-handed and exposed quickly retrace their steps into the ethnic or religious cocoon and begin to sponsor with our stolen funds, ethnic and or religious 'mass' defence of their thievery." We've seen it play out on Nairaland also, with the supposedly enlightened ones being at the fore front of ethnic defense of graft and financial recklessness, so what do with expect from the Almajiri's?
Hope you know four fingers are also pointing at you... cheesy

emorse: Push on to where? You don't get. Our labour market is super saturated. Only job creation can solve this. Not throwing money around.
You cannot have a super saturated labour market in a developing economy, especially in Nigeria. The job opportunities in Nigeria are enormous. What we lack yet are structures like business financing and some basic amenities. Stop thinking about jobs as something FG should produce. Nowhere in the world does the government employ everyone. Not even a major percentage is ever employed by the government. Always think about jobs as service to people around you. What you need is the right encouragement and startup
