i have seen that infinix is quite underrated these days. they have nice design and software I feel. The back panel of the Infinix note 10 looks good af. Even inside the helio G85 chip is nice.

The reason the iphone 6s is getting an update is because of its CPU. The A9 is one of the best CPUs apple created. It was ahead in it's time. However, the update is not worth it still. The hardware is old and unnecessary. Kiss your battery adios, and user experience will be much worse. I trust the temp will be on the high side too. Any little task, you'll get a sweaty palm.

[Like I said earlier, it's all marketing gimmicks by Apple

Many android devices that are supported by the development community, receive custom updates to the latest Android OS and work as they should on the latest OS, but for hardware sake, I won't touch these devices because their hardware is outdated

However, I could make do with such device if I'm on a tight budget or I will be using it as a fringe second device.

Right now, flagship smartphones are at their peak. You can't even tell the difference in performance.

both the information from that 41MP sensor and the oversampled 8MP image at the press of a shutter button; where the Snapdragon ISP would cache the raw data from the sensor in 1GB out of the 2GB of RAM in the phone. should take photos; ie: if the sky is pale blue when you took the picture; that is exactly how it should look. NO EDGE ENHANCEMENT, NO OVERSATURATION, NO SHARPENING. GRASS SHOULD LOOK LIKE GRASS; NOT LIKE MOTTLED GREEN CARPET. (Ahem; SAMSUNG! Hey FWIW; they did reduce this in the S21 Ultra; thank Jesus.)

Alright, so one new feature on the Tecno Phantom X, is the "Ella Voice Assistant". "Ella" is own and developed by Tecno. And it made it's debut on the Phantom X. Hopefully, other Tecno phones will follow suit in no time.

But the main deal here is, how Smart and dynamic is Tecno Ella when compared to other voice assistant like Google Assistant, Siri and Samsung Bixby? So I made a comparison video of it

Nobody should talk Recommend Tecno or infinix Right? I think this is just a post to be little infinix and Tecno (I/T) again.. You guys have tried enough on nairaland trying to scare people away from these phones. Make up lies just to scare people away. But you what? I/T are still the most bought phones in Nigeria and across Africa. Well that alone is a pain obviously to The brand especially the notice me Xiaomi people.. Am not a fan of infinix or tecno. Am not a marketer but any time I see a post about phones. People always try to talk down infinix and Tecno. I bought infinix note 4 pro back in 2018 for my lil bro, he loves game and social media. He enjoys his phone no single problem. But still.. All these other dead brands are just envious of Infinix and tecno. Tagging them transsion device like a stigma.. Like it or not people will continue to buy these devices and ignore ur pained brand. Someone posted a burnt redmi note 10 pro the other time.. Just imagine... And still most of thier pained fan still come out to glorify thier rotten phone. Infinix and Tecno are the best and realible phones after IPhone and Samsung. Well sales already prove that. So Redmi people keep crying and trying to advertise ur phone with every slight chance. But still Africa choose Infinix and Tecno as thier main budget phone. The rest are just trying to copy. When you live in noisy Nigeria and you need to create videos, then you have to do it in the wee hours of the morning. When the world is asleep.

I just spent one hour of my life that I'll never get back watching the Tecno Phantom X launch and I was disappointed.

I didn't even finish it to be honest.

I mean Tecno are improving. Once upon a time, they'd have offered us a budget Helio P22 as a Flagship or a P35 max with generic 13MP cameras of which only one was usable. So this is a great achievement for the company.

About 5 years ago, I was a huge fan. I still have my Pouvoir 2 and L9+ boxes at home with me here and I wish them all the best.

I'm on my keyboard crafting a comprehensive post but this is a safe space where we can throw around our thoughts, ideas and first impressions.

5 here for a company that never touches screen protection or protectors is a huge leap.

Big screen, super Amoled FHD+ 90hz display

A11, HiOS 7.6, Helio G95

50MP main camera, 13MP telephoto, 8MP Ultrawide

48+8MP selfies

4700mAh battery with 33W fast charge

These are all decent specs. Good specs even.

The problem is...

They are midrange specs.

I wouldn't like to bore you too much with the specs right now.

Lemme stick with the launch.

Frank Edoho was the presenter. If you watched Silver bird TV between 2004 to 2009/10 (off the top of my head), you must have definitely seen him on the show "Who wants to be a millionaire?"

He looked out of shape and out of practice.

The Tecno manager lady had no idea what she was doing.

So when I saw Miss Techy, I was relieved, a tech person who would come and tell us about the phone...

Boy was I disappointed. ��‍♂️

The launch felt more like a show. It had dancers, a ballerina and a mini orchestra. The focus was on everything but the phone itself.

And this isn't new.

Tecno tends to market their devices as lifestyle items, the way you would market handbags, wristwatches, clothing etc.

It is disappointing.

The only Tech person there had to look at a screen and reading it like an unprepared lecturer to her students.

How did I read the body language? Because I lectured using projectors for two years plus.

The event felt hurriedly rushed.

In the audience, there was no tech person there. Just celebrities. Many of whom were past their sell by date.

If you haven't watched the launch of the original iphone in 2007, then you definitely should make time for it and watch the late Steve Jobs talk about the phone.

To wrap it up, let's look at the price!

228k can buy me a Samsung Galaxy A52 and A72, Redmi-note-10-pro, Poco X3 Pro, Mi 10T, Mi Note 10, an iPhone X series phone and I'll have change to eat at Foodland.

This is the epitomy of overselling what a phone can do and then over pricing it.

Personally I don't really mind if my work is copied or not, they should just give credit. That's it's done all over the world.

But imagine what the man was telling me yesterday, I quote "is this how you want people to follow you, no one will follow you?"

Says someone that doesn't even follow me. Because here, many people do not want you to speak up at all even when they're in the wrong. Them go bring age card or start looking for respect.

the iPhone 6s which was released in 2014 is going to get iOS 15! THAT IS SEVEN (7) YEARS OF UPDATES!
