Politics › Re: Atiku Presidency: Why El-rufai Is Afraid - Tambuwal by Thescienceprof(m): 3:12pm On Dec 07, 2018 |
Newbiee: PMB promises 3 things in his campaign in 2015.
1. Security: Let's ask ourselves sincerely. Are we not better now security wise than the weekly bombing we used to have prior to 2015? Or did we forget about the numerous road blocks mounted in our highways and check points in our cities. Not to talk of serious checks we under went before getting into our mosques, churches, hospitals and market places. Even though not yet Uhuru, but it amazes me when PDP campaigns with insecurity.
2. Improving our Economy: Despite the low price of crude oil encountered by this administration, considering Nigeria a mono economy depending on oil all this while, but yet our foreign reserve is today more than $40b from $29b in 2015, despite the average high price of oil between 1999 and 2015. The present administration has made tremendous effort in diversifying our economy by revolutionizing agricultural sector. Our social infrastructure (roads, rail, airport, seaport and power) are receiving attention after numerous years of neglect under the previous administrations.
3. The fight against corruption : May be I need not to mention the progress achieved in the corruption fight. Because for PDP to avoid mentioning it in their policy document as well as in their campaigns. It will tell you a lot about how it hit them well. So much progress indeed! 1. Insecurity: the number of people killed by your so-called weekly bombs is nothing compared to the death and terror unleashed daily by the rebranded boko haram called herdsmen. Under this administration, natives and locals are being disarmed while Fulani killer men are encouraged to attack them with no means of defence. The federal army can't protect the people yet they are not allowed to protect themselves. They said it was Dasuki who diverted money meant for procuring war equipment then, I guess He is still in charge now! 2. Worse economy: you talked of foreign reserves! How does that affect the common man? Before this administration a bag of rice is #9000, today it is #17000! A motorcycle for okada boys that used to cost #100k is now over #200k; Same for Nissan Micra used for commercials, from #350k to #850k! Dollar used to exchange for less than #200 even in the parallel market, now its over #300. Patrol used to be #97 with the subsidy they called a scam, now it is #145 and at a higher subsidy being paid. The list is endless! 3. Much more corruption: I don't even need to say anything here because it is common knowledge that the only recognized corrupt people by this government are in the opposition. Tinubu is not corrupt, Amaechi is not, Babachir Lawal is not, Ganduje is not, Fashola is not, Oshiomole is not, Oshinbajo is not, Kemi Adeosun is not, Bayo Shittu is not, Atiku was not but suddenly now is ehn? Crass nonsense |
Politics › Re: People's Reactions As Buhari Receives His WAEC Certificate (Memes) by Thescienceprof(m): 3:11pm On Nov 03, 2018 |
Built2last: Buhari is the most corrupt Nigerian President ever
WAEC 1952-2018 = 66yrs Buhari 1942-2018 = 75yrs (Dec)
75 - 66 = 9yrs
Back then in the days u are expected to be in primary 1 at the age of 6yrs
For u to finish Pri and Sec Sch u hv to spend minimum of 18yrs
PMB IS A ROGUE This your analysis get as e be. If Buhari was born in 1942 according to you and wrote waec in 1961, it means he was 19 years old at the time and not 9 years. It only means the council was 9 years old at the time Buhari wrote the exams, and that's assuming he actually wrote any exam. I am not a pro- Buhari and I never believe in the bogus certificate, just pointing out the error in ur analysis |

BabaRamota1980: With these figures the odds is stacked against Atiku. Look at Lagos and Oyo population, both APC owned. Compare to SE, Atiku's only stronghold. Who told you APC owns Lagos and Oyo? Do you remember the number of votes polled by Jimi Agbaje of PDP in 2015? 600k+ against APC 800k+. Lagos is no man's land. They will share the spoils. As for Oyo, the dynamics is very tricky with Akala gone to UDP, coupled with the level of enlightenment of the electorates there, you never know. I think it's going to be close in those two states. Atiku should go to work and see how much votes he can still from the North West. |

lirusehn: I think you are the one having comprehensive problem. To start with, I am a member of the PDP just incase you are thinking of labeling me an opposition. Secondly, from the report it obviously stated that 10,896 votes were recorded for PDP on the poster submitted and after further clarifications they found out the actual vote was 9,896 and the vote was made official. What necessitated this report was the rumor being passed around as regards the 1000 votes people claimed to have been illegally deducted where as it was a mistake at first. What then is this hullabaloo all about? On a real sense, members of the APC are even supposed to label us scammers here for mistakenly adding the 1k votes in the first place.
Election isn't won by airing propagandas, let's keep our fingers crossed for Thursday please. Can you please read through what you typed again. You said after further clarification! By who? In the presence of how many party agents? Did you see the results sheet written in ink both in figures and words? You also said PDP should have been labeled scammers instead for adding 1000 votes! I feel ashamed on your behalf! Did PDP write the result? My brother, there was never any error, it was a calculated attempt to win at all cost. |

After meeting the Police Authorities and briefed on the modus operandi for the election to allow for a safe and smooth election, he went out to flout it. The efforts of the police to disperse them is in order. Stop partisanship and use your grey matter at least for once! Just when did the police AIG gave the directive of no rally? Before the APC mega rally or after? Why didn't the police disperse Buhari and his APC goons when they had their rally? I neither support Fayose nor APC because they are all thieves but whenever the govt erred let's be unanimous in condemning impunity and outright brigandage |

Of course they know the average Nigerian is intellectually bankrupt as we are witnessing from the comments on this thread. Arrant nonsense! You are the one intellectually bankrupt here. The security agencies do not take orders from state governments. They fall under the exclusive legislative list. Your position can only happen where we have state policing.
