jcross am glad you admit that the quran was memorized by hundreds (further proof of its incorruptibility). At least now i know you can never argue (as most of your dishonest fellow xtians do) with the lame point that the quran was written 300 yrs after muhammed.
You see, there in no religous scripture on the face of the earth that was memorised by so many people while it was still 'hot'. Even today if every single copy of the quran was to somehow dissapear. At least every single contry in the world will be able to reproduce an original copy from the numerous memorizers. And all these copies will be exactly the same. Can you say the same for the bible? There is no single bible memorizer in this world. Any attempt would be futile. How many of the hundreds of versions would one have to memorize

of course muhammed performed many miracles. One of which was splitting the moon. You should not be asking for proof of this if you belive that moses split the red sea and jesus walked on water.
But come to think of it, is miracles a bona fide for prophethood? Remember jesus said 'of those born of man none is greater than john the babptist'. I want you to tell me a single miracle that john the baptist performed.

If muhammed had not ate of the poison it would be less of a miracle than eating it and surviving for 3 years. Wheras your god died only after a fews hour when hung by his creations. It even gets more disturbing when we realize that the two thieves hung along side survived longer that their god jesus. Such that the centurions were forced to break their legs so they would not run from their graves.

Muhammed survived for 3 years on a poison that killed his companion instantaneously wheras common theives has more stamina than you god
