He is a multi-millionaire. He made some money from selling records but a lot of it came from video games, endorsements, films, selling water etc. So people buy into the franchize. He used his shootings as a gimmick in the beginning to spark interest and his songs were very catchy. I mean he had little kids singing the 'candy shop' as vulgar as it was and that's how he sells records at the end of the day it's all business to him. But the bottom line is he doesn't deserve to be classed as one of the greatest rappers of all time. THE END

Of course there are, that's why they do it in the first place, because its what they love to do like singers, actors etc, then the money starts rolling in and they get power hungry and want to dominate the whole music industry.
