How many stations are selling fuel in your location? If they all have the product, why will they keep it instead of selling it and making profit. Even at this present price of N160, why don't they sell and gain double as you suppose they intend doing.

The truth is, during December, demand for dollar increase because of excessive importation. This leads to shortage of the dollar and control/restrictions by CBN makes it difficult for marketers and other traders to source for other expensive means of getting the products down here. Every other cost or charges must be transferred to the consumers for them to recover their money.

Instead of Government to realise this and may be taking off this extra cost from the consumers in the form of subsidy, they decided to play blame game to win public sympathy. Well they will continue to succeed because people have refuse to educate themselves. They rather wait for the government to educate them. They can only act in line with the education they received.
